Introduction

Hello everyone. In this guide, we will go over some of the high-risk high-reward decks that are used in the Dueling Club. These decks revolve around using a lot of cards that require precise aiming or timing and are generally risky to play.

Most of these decks require legendary cards, so they aren’t very F2P or new player friendly.

Avada Kedavra Deck

This deck revolves around setting up Avada Kedavra as soon as possible and quickly eliminating your opponent.

Echo: Hermione Granger

Cards: Avada Kedavra, Priori Incantatem, Orb of Water, Incarcerous, Nebulus, Confringo, Oppugno, Broomstick.

Companion Cards: Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley, Rubeus Hagrid.

The way to play this deck is to use Avada Kedavra as much as possible to quickly build up its deadly potential. In itself, it can relatively easily eliminate most of the summons.

You can use Priori Incantatem to use Avada Kedavra two times in a row. This will significantly increase the speed at which you ramp it up.

Once you have fully ramped up Avada Kedavra, you can set it up with Orb of Water + Incarcerous combo. You need to make sure you have Orb of Water at half cost (from Hermione’s Echo) before you attempt the combo.

The way combo works is like this: You wait until you have 10 MP. Then, you use Orb of Water at your opponent and drag them close to the center of the field. Once Orb explodes, it should eliminate any summons your opponent had. Follow this up with Incarcerous and Avada Kedavra.

If you execute this correctly, your opponent won’t be able to escape this dangerous combo, and you’ll end up winning the duel.

However, this can go wrong in a few ways, especially if your opponent uses a summon card to block your Avada Kedavra just as the Orb of Water ends. Still, this deck can catch a lot of players off-guard, which is why it is included here.

Weasley’s Wildfire Whiz-Bangs Deck

This deck revolves around doing massive damage with Weasley’s Wildfire Whiz-Bangs. It requires precise timing and quick fingers, but if executed correctly, it can completely annihilate your opponent.

Echo: Hermione Granger.

Cards: Orb of Water, Weasleys’ Wildfire Whiz-Bangs, Confringo, Incendio, Incarcerous, Broomstick, Oppugno, Three-Headed Puppy.

Companions: Lotte Turner, Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley.

While using this deck, you want to set up powerful combos with Weasley’s Wildfire Whiz-Bangs.

One way to do that is to wait until you have Orb of Water or Weasley’s Wildfire Whiz-Bangs discounted by Hermione Granger Echo. After that, get close to 8-9 MP and use Orb of Water to gather your opponent and as many of their summons as possible.

As soon as the Orb of Water explodes, use Incarcerous to bind your opponent and any of their summons that weren’t eliminated by the Orb of Water. Follow this up with Weasley’s Wildfire Whiz-Bangs for massive damage.

It is also worth noting that you can summon Hermione Granger companion just before you use Weasley’s Wildfire Whiz-Bangs. If you gathered all of your opponent’s summons with Orb of Water, Hermione will cast Weasley’s Wildfire Whiz-Bangs on the same place as you, which will significantly increase the damage of your combo.

If you execute this combo successfully a few times, you should easily be able to win the duel. However, this deck requires quick fingers and careful aiming, which is why it is included in this guide.

Glacius Maxima Deck

This deck revolves around setting up powerful damage combos with Glacius Maxima. It also utilizes companions that synergize well with this spell in order to maximize its damage.

Echo: Hermione Granger

Cards: Glacius Maxima, Weasleys’ Wildfire Whiz-Bangs, Incarcerous, Confringo, Incendio, Oppugno, Time-Turner, Priori Incantatem.

Companions: Malfoy Gang, Frey Twins, Hermione Granger.

While playing this deck, you want to set up powerful Glacius Maxima every time your Companions are ready. In order to do that, you want to trigger Echo of Hermione Granger to reduce the cost of Glacius Maxima.

When that happens, wait until you have close to 10 MP. Then use a Time-Turner, but not too close to your opponent. Then use Incarcerous on your opponent, followed by companion card and Glacius Maxima.

If you execute it correctly, your opponent will be struck by up to five Glacius Maxima hits, which will deal significant damage. Do this two more times when your other companions are ready, and you should end up winning the duel.

If your opponent is still standing after you run out of companions, you should use Weasley’s Wildfire Whiz-Bangs together with Incarcerous to take them down.

It is worth noting that this deck requires really quick fingers and precise aiming. If you miss any of your Glacius Maxima combos, you will likely lose the duel.

Still, executing Glacius Maxima combos successfully can be very satisfying, and this deck is pretty fun to play.
