Quite extensive and equally amazing History of Magic

History of Magic in the lore

History of Magic is a core class and one of the subjects where students don’t have to use magic practically. Students study it from first to fifth grade, and after an O.W.L. test, the Class is completed. The professor for this Class is Cuthbert Binns, who taught his students for many years when he was alive… and now he teaches them as a ghost. I guess there is no retirement for him.

History of Magic in the game

This class consists of two teams of players competing against each other in the quiz mini game. This Class is available on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

Each team has three players. The quiz consists of ten questions. Each question has four answers, and you need to choose one before the time runs out (10 seconds). You need to answer as fast as possible to gain more points.

When your teammates answer a question, you can see their answers, whether are they correct or not, and how many points they got. This allows you to answer like your teammate if you don’t know the answer, but your teammate was fast enough. It’s like peeking at the work of your classmate. You can also see if the players from the competing teams answered correctly or not, but you can’t see their answers.

The goal of this mini game is for your team to collect more points than the opponent team. You can also see the points of each teammate from your team.

The questions in these classes are mostly about Harry Potter lore (from books and movies).

In the end, your team will receive a grade depending on the number of Bonus Objectives completed.

Possible Grades: Good, Excellent, Perfect

Bonus Objectives for Elementary Difficulty:

  • Obtain 150 Points
  • Obtain 300 Points
  • Obtain 400 Points
  • Obtain 450 Points

At the end of the quiz, you will earn 10 Pass Points.
