Where to Find Hippogriff

Hello everyone. Here is a guide on where to find Hippogriffs. These proud magical creatures can be rescued and added to your vivariums. By taking care of them (feeding and brushing them), you will receive Hippogriff Feathers, which are used to improve your gear.

Hippogriffs can be quite tricky to catch. It is highly recommended to use the Disillusionment Spell once you get close to their den. Carefully approach the Hippogriff you want to rescue, and then use Levioso, immediately followed by Arresto Momentum.

Next, use your Nab-Sack and press the button 5 times to rescue the creature. Thankfully, the spells you used previously will keep the Hippogriff in place long enough for you to use the Nab-Sack.

Here are the places where you can find the Hippogriffs in the game.

Hippogriff Den east of West Forbidden Forest. To get to this den, you should travel to West Forbidden Forest Floo Flames and then go east.

Hippogriff Den northeast of Feldcroft. To locate this den, travel to Feldcroft and go northeast of it.

Hippogriff Den south of West Manor Cape. In order to find this den, you should travel to West Manor Cape Floo Flames and then go south.

It is also worth noting that you can add Highwing the Hippogriff to your vivarium once you rescue her during “The High Keep” quest.

If you pre-ordered the game, you’ll also receive the Onyx Hippogriff when you rescue Highwing.
