Andromeda’s Hogwarts Homecoming Part 4
Introduction
Hello everyone, welcome to Part 4 of our Walkthrough for Andromeda’s Hogwarts Homecoming Adventure of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. In the previous part, you and Tonks decided to inform Andromeda that you found her keepsake box but encountered a problem – it was locked with three separate locks, each belonging to one of the Black sisters. Andromeda confirmed that each sister knows how to open only her own lock. After some persuasion, you started asking around, hoping to find Andromeda’s sister, Narcissa, nearby.
Instead, you encountered Lucius and Draco Malfoy, and after a brief conversation, Lucius ordered you to look after his son while he attended to important matters. You struck a deal with Draco: he would share information about his mother in exchange for a trip to Honeydukes for sweets. Draco revealed a crucial detail: his mother, Narcissa, sings a lullaby to him every night, which later becomes a key clue in opening Narcissa’s lock.
You then met with Andromeda and Tonks to share the newfound information about Narcissa Malfoy. Andromeda agreed that the lullaby might be the secret to opening her sister’s lock, so you asked her to attempt to sing it. Luckily, after she did, the first lock opened. Now, you face the challenge of unlocking the lock belonging to Andromeda’s eldest sister, Bellatrix Lestrange. Your task is to uncover the method to unlock her lock, so why wait? Let’s delve into solving this family mystery.

Proceed to the Clocktower Courtyard when you are ready. When you arrive, Andromeda will say that it’s not easy for her to speak so openly about her sister Bellatrix.
Tonks will encourage her mother that she can do it, and you will say that understanding Bellatrix Lestrange is the only way to uncover the solution for her magical lock. Shortly after, Andromeda will tell you to listen carefully as she talks about her sister.
To complete the next task, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. All five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.
The bonus progress actions are tied to Andromeda. Prioritize these actions to save some energy.
After you finish, you’ll learn that Bellatrix was one of He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named’s most devoted followers and that she’s now locked up in Azkaban, so you can’t speak with her directly.
Andromeda will agree with you that Azkaban is a terrible place, but it’s the only location that can hold her sister.
Andromeda will say that it certainly won’t be easy, and she’ll add that as you know, when she married Ted, her family stopped talking to her, including Bellatrix. She’ll mention that then her sister joined the Death Eaters, and even if they could talk to her sister, she doubts she would recognize her sister, let alone understand her behavior.
After a brief conversation, Andromeda will say that she knows someone with a great deal of experience battling Death Eaters, and she’ll arrange a meeting with that person to see if they can help you.
Following that, Tonks will ask you how you feel about the idea of thinking like a Death Eater. There are two different options to choose from. These options will influence some dialogue that will follow, but they won’t impact the story.
Andromeda will then say that she’ll inform you once everything is arranged, hoping that the Death Eater expert will help you get into the mind of Bellatrix Lestrange.
Go to the Defence Against the Dark Arts Classroom to study Death Eaters. When you arrive, Tonks will inform you that the Death Eater expert will be there any minute, and Andromeda will say she’s sure both you and Tonks are curious to find out who it is.
Moments later, the Death Eater expert will arrive, and it’s none other than your well-known Professor Dumbledore.
He will respond that tragically, he had more than his share of experiences fighting against Death Eaters. Over the years, he gained an understanding of their dreadful beliefs.
The Headmaster will then say that Andromeda informed him of your efforts to open the keepsake box and retrieve a bit of her past. Andromeda will thank him for his help, and he’ll say he’s always happy to help his former students, most of them, at least. Then you’ll ask him what he can tell you about how Death Eaters think.
To discuss Death Eaters, you need to earn five stars within three hours. All five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.
Bonus progress actions are tied to Professor Dumbledore and your character. Prioritize these actions to save some energy.
When Professor Dumbledore finishes his story, one thing will catch your attention: when it comes to Death Eaters, everything boils down to blood.
Tonks’s mother will say that she is afraid it wasn’t much different with the House of Black, adding that her old family would do anything to maintain their purity, even cut their own daughter out of their lives.
Professor Dumbledore will say that there are a few wizarding families who meet the Death Eaters’ standards of blood purity, adding that The House of Black is among them, as well as the rest of the so-called ‘Sacred Twenty-Eight’.
Following that, you’ll wonder if blood is what Death Eaters value most, could that be the key to Bellatrix Lestrange’s lock? Andromeda will say that knowing her sister, that could very well be the case.
Tonks will ask you what you think about the idea that blood is the key to Bellatrix’s magical lock. There are three different options to choose from. These options will influence some dialogue that will follow, but they won’t impact the story.
There’s only one way to find out, and that’s to test this theory. Andromeda will be the one to do it.
You’ll thank the Headmaster for his help, and he’ll express hope that you’ll succeed.
Then you’ll decide to head to the Dueling Room as soon as possible to test the theory. Since there’s no waiting time, don’t wait and head there right away.
When you arrive there, you’ll ask your friends if they’re ready to test the theory, and Andromeda will say she’s never been more ready.
Andromeda will bite her finger, and the blood that starts to flow will touch Belatrix’s lock.
Fortunately, it will work, and the second lock will open and disappear.
However, you’ll notice that Andromeda looks a bit concerned.
She’ll explain that she’s worried because, whenever it was her turn to open her lock, she would point her wand and think of happy memories from her home. She’ll add that it used to work then, but that everything has changed now, and she doesn’t know how to do it anymore.
Tonks’s mother will say that, at the time, being a part of the House of Black was the only home she knew, but she’ll add that perhaps it doesn’t have to be. Following that, she will ask you where you feel most at home. There are three different options to choose from. All of them will eventually lead to the same outcome, so feel free to take your pick.
You’ll encourage Andromeda and wish her luck, but when she directs her wand toward the box, the magical barrier from before will reappear, but a new guest will also appear – the guardian knight of the sisters’ family treasure.
He’ll be very determined to get you out of the way and prevent you from opening the box.
Andromeda will be certain that her sister set up a trap in case anyone got too close to opening the box without her. She’ll warn you to stay back, but you’ll be determined to engage in battle with the guardian while she tries to open the box.
To protect Andromeda, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. All five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.
Bonus progress actions are tied to the Knight and Tonks. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. Slide the screen left and right to check all available actions.
Fortunately, you’ll successfully defeat the guardian knight.
Tonks will commend you, and then you’ll ask Andromeda how it’s going with opening the box. She’ll say everything is ready to open it.
When the box opens, you’ll hear the voices of Andromeda’s sisters.
Andromeda will say she hasn’t heard her sisters’ voices in a long time. She’ll also mention that she should have anticipated Bellatrix setting a trap and not put you in danger.
However, you and Tonks will reassure her that there’s no need to apologize and that everything turned out fine. Andromeda will thank you both profusely and add that you helped her realize she doesn’t need to be in the House of Black to have a happy home and family.
Tonks won’t be able to contain her excitement about what’s inside the box, but you’ll remember that the Hogwarts Anniversary Feast is about to begin. You’ll suggest taking the box with you and leaving immediately so you won’t be late for the celebration.
Proceed to the Great Hall to attend the feast. Upon arriving, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you’re curious to see what they have to say. When you arrive, you’ll mention that now you can enjoy the Hogwarts Anniversary Feast and see what’s inside the Black Sisters’ keepsake box.
Soon after that, The Headmaster will begin his speech.
Professor Dumbledore will say that for generations, Hogwarts has been a place not only for learning but also for growing. He’ll add that within the walls of Hogwarts, everyone can discover themselves and develop into their own unique individual.
Shortly after, Tonks will suggest that since the feast has begun, you can finally take a look and see what’s inside the keepsake box. To examine the treasures, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. All five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.
Bonus progress actions are tied to the keepsakebox, Andromeda, and your character. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. Slide the screen left and right to check all available actions.
Andromeda will express her gratitude to you, saying that thanks to you, she finally has her precious treasure back. However, Tonks will tell her mother that it’s not a great treasure she’s preserved, but just a crumpled note and a dried old flower.
Yet, Tonks’s mom will explain that the crumpled note was the first love letter her husband sent her, and the flower was the first gift he gave her on their first date.
Tonks will say she didn’t expect her mom’s treasure to be a mushy love note, and she’ll ask you what you think. There are two options to choose from. If you like Andromeda, it is recommended to pick the first option.
Afterward, you’ll ask about the other treasures and what she plans to do with them.
You’ll add that Bellatrix most likely destroyed her treasure the last time they all locked the box when their backs were turned.
Andromeda will say that she suspects it was a gift from Lucius from when he and Narcissa were courting. You’ll wonder if a gift like that was Lucius’s way of saying that Narcissa was worthy of marrying into the Malfoy family.
Tonks will say that it hardly seems worth the effort, and then she’ll ask you what you think. There are two different options to choose from. Both of them will eventually lead to the same outcome, so feel free to take your pick.
In any case, Andromeda will want to send the treasure to her sister, Narcissa. She’ll also mention that before coming to Hogwarts, she was always deferred to her family, even when she disagreed with their views.
But at Hogwarts, she had the opportunity to break out of her shell and discover her true self. She’ll add that she learned to stand up for what’s right, even if it meant going against her family.
Following that, Andromeda will say that she’s proud of Tonks and that she’s an amazing daughter.
Tonks’s mom will say that she’ll cherish the memories she made here with you more than any treasure from her past. She’ll thank you very much for making her visit enjoyable and will congratulate you on the Hogwarts Anniversary.
Then Andromeda will go to greet her old friends, and Tonks will thank you for the help you provided. She’ll add that her mom really makes her happy, mentioning that she and her mom agreed to give you the keepsake box as a gift so you can remember this adventure with them.
