Hello everyone, welcome to Part 4 of our Walkthrough for Barnaby’s Family Values Adventure of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. In the previous part, you and Barnaby set out on a mission to gather everything needed for the Lee Family Toast. After visiting several shops in Diagon Alley for crystal glasses, new outfits, and a barrel of Butterbeer 1900, you realized the Butterbeer was out of stock. A quick trip to Hogsmeade led to a bit of a dilemma with limited Floo powder, but just when things seemed uncertain, Aunt Leah and Uncle Cecil arrived to save the day. With the Portkey activated and the time set, you are now ready to head back to London and complete the toast preparations!

Go to the Leaky Cauldron to continue the story. Upon arriving, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you’re curious to see what they have to say. When you finally arrive in London, you breathe a sigh of relief, thankful that you’ve made it just in time with everything needed for the toast. However, as soon as you settle in, the familiar sound of bickering begins.

Aunt Leah and Uncle Cecil are at it again, with Barnaby’s grandmother joining in, arguing with the barkeeper. Even Vulcan and Knarl can’t resist getting involved, adding to the chaos. The toast preparations are far from over, and it seems the drama is just beginning! 

Barnaby, visibly upset, will express that a tradition like the Lee Family Toast is supposed to unite the family, not tear them apart. You’ll suggest that perhaps reminding everyone of the toast’s true purpose might help calm things down.

He will then ask you which argument you think might be the most trickiest to break up. There are three different options to choose from. These options will influence some dialogue that will follow, but they won’t impact the story.

Soon after, you will try to calm everyone down to ensure that preparations can continue smoothly. To put out fires, you need to earn five stars within three hours. All five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

Bonus progress actions are tied to Cecil Lee, your character, the Knarl, and Barnaby. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. Slide the screen left and right to check all available actions. 

Fortunately, you managed to calm Vulcan and Knarl, who had argued over food. After feeding them both, they are no longer hungry and are now friends. Next, you soothed Cecil and Leah, convincing them to share credit for their Hogsmeade rescue plan. 

However, you were unable to settle the dispute between Barnaby’s grandmother and the barkeeper. The barkeeper refuses to close his tavern during the Lee Family Toast, which frustrates Barnaby’s grandmother, causing her to storm off angrily.

Barnaby will panic, fearing that if the family event doesn’t happen, curses could fall upon all of you. However, you reassure him not to worry and decide to follow after his grandmother to convince her that the Lee Family Toast should still go ahead.

Proceed to the Diagon Alley when you are ready. Barnaby will urge you to find his grandmother as soon as possible and convince her to go through with the event, stressing that it’s the only way to avoid the curse. This line will differ based on your previous choice. 

Barnaby will suggest that you split up to find his grandmother more quickly. You will agree, and as you turn down a street, you will spot Grandmum Lee sulking. You will approach her carefully, hoping to convince her to return and help salvage the Lee Family Toast, knowing how important it will be for both the family and the success of the event.

You will tell her that she can’t just give up, especially after Barnaby has worked so hard as the Toast Giver. However, she will explain that you don’t understand how much the Lee Family Toast truly means to her. 

You will ask her to share her feelings and explain herself, and though reluctant, she will agree to open up and share her thoughts, giving you insight into her emotional connection to the event.

To talk to Grandmum, you need to earn five stars within three hours. All five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

The bonus progress actions are tied to Grandmum. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. 

She will explain that the Lee family used to be larger and more respected than it is now. In their prime, the Lees were loved and feared throughout the land, but now, only a few of them remain, and they have none of the glory they once had. She will express that it feels as though they may as well give up.

She will also explain that she had high hopes for Barnaby’s father, who once delivered the Lee Family Toast flawlessly. Unfortunately, he is now locked up in Azkaban. Leah never visits him, and the only one with a respectable job in the family is Cecil. 

You will ask her if she is proud of Barnaby.

She will say that The Lee Family Toast is meant to remind them of their glorious past and inspire them to achieve great things, explaining that this is what makes it such an important tradition. She will then ask if you appreciate the power of tradition. There are two different options to choose from. These options will influence some dialogue that will follow, but they won’t impact the story.

Shortly after, you will try to tell her that she needs to ease up on her expectations and accept that the Leaky Cauldron remains open. You will explain that this could even have a positive impact on the event, as it will spread the word about the Lee Family, potentially bringing them more attention and respect.

After a few moments, Barnaby will appear.

Grandmum Lee will then advise you to find a quiet place, as time is running short, so you can rehearse and write the final verses for the Lee Family Toast.

Proceed to the Ollivander’s when you are ready. Mr. Ollivander will greet you warmly. This line will differ based on which year you attend.

You’ll explain to Mr. Ollivander that you need a quiet place to rehearse. 

You’ll explain that it’s a cherished family tradition Barnaby’s family holds every generation and that he has the honor of being this year’s Toast Giver. This line will differ based on your previous choice.

Mr. Ollivander will say you’re welcome to use his shop as a rehearsal space, as long as you don’t mind him listening in.

To finish toast preparations, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. All five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

Bonus progress actions are tied to Barnaby and your character. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. 

You’ll compliment Barnaby on remembering all the verses so far, and Mr. Ollivander will request to examine the verse book while you start creating a new verse for Barnaby’s grandmother. 

Barnaby will mention that his grandmother is strong, fearless, and slightly terrifying. He’ll then ask you which of those traits you think would be best to highlight in Grandmum’s verse. Choose what you like best, the verse will differ depending on what you choose, but it will not affect the story.

These lines will differ based on your previous choice. 

Barnaby will want to create a verse dedicated to the family pets—Knarl, Vulcan, and Grandmum’s old Crup—mentioning that, despite likely objections from his grandmother about tradition, he still wants to do it. He’ll note that the pets are both adorable and loving but also quite the troublemakers.

He’ll then ask you which of these traits you think should be the focus of their verse. Choose what you like best, the verse will differ depending on what you choose, but it will not affect the story.

These lines will differ based on your previous choice. 

Following that, Mr. Ollivander will mention he discovered a rule: the Toast Giver’s guest is permitted to help with the recitation of all verses, which means you’re officially allowed to assist Barnaby. Grateful, you’ll thank Mr. Ollivander and then head out together, finally ready for the Lee Family Toast.

When you arrive, Grandmum Lee will mention that the event is about to start and will instruct Barnaby to go prepare. Meanwhile, she’ll pull you aside for a private conversation.

This line will differ based on your previous choice. 

She will explain that the Lee Family Toast is meant to honor all family members, including the Toast Giver. To complete this tradition, you’ll need to compose one final verse dedicated to Barnaby. She’ll then ask you to quickly choose an aspect of Barnaby’s personality. Choose what you like best, the verse will differ depending on what you choose, but it will not affect the story.

She will then tell you it’s time to join Barnaby, and you’ll climb up onto the table beside him, ready to begin the Lee Family Toast together. This line will differ based on your previous choice. 

Shortly after, you will thank everyone for coming and begin the Lee Family Toast.

To give the toast, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. All five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

The bonus progress actions are tied to Barnaby. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. 

You will thank everyone for coming and mention that those were the old verses of the Lee Family Toast. This line will differ based on your previous choice.

These lines will differ based on your previous choice. 

And of course a verse for Barnaby.

Shortly after, Barnaby will thank you and mention that he didn’t expect a verse about himself. This line will differ based on your previous choice.

You will ask Grandmum Lee about the curse, but she will explain that it was only used by Barnaby’s father to scare Cecil and that the curse doesn’t actually exist. She will also mention that as a gesture of appreciation for your efforts, she will allow you to keep the formal outfits she acquired for you. However, she will make it clear that she didn’t like the verse about the pets.

Barnaby and you will be very excited and pleased with how everything turned out.

Soon after, Barnaby and you will continue to enjoy the family and friends gathering. The atmosphere will be warm and joyful as everyone comes together to celebrate, putting aside any earlier tensions.
