Hello everyone, welcome to our Walkthrough section for Dreams of Rowan Adventure of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery! This adventure is available for students who have completed Volume 2 Chapter 4. When Barnaby invites you to the Ministry for a favor, the last thing you expect is to doze off on the job! But that’s exactly what happens when you fall into an enchanted sleep, where you catch a glimpse of what Rowan Khanna could have been like as a first-year Hogwarts professor. During this dreamlike adventure, you even get to help them guide a new student, Luna Lovegood. Immerse yourself in this heartwarming journey and, as a reward, you’ll receive a stunning bookcase—perfect for your flat and something Rowan would have loved!

Proceed to the Department of Magical Creature Regulation when you are ready to visit Barnaby. Upon arriving, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you’re curious to see what they have to say.

When you arrive, Barnaby will thank you for being there, and you’ll notice that his dog is very energetic and active. He’ll add that it’s like you can read his mind, as he really needs help with that, and he’ll ask how good you are with dogs. There are three different options to choose from. All of them will eventually lead to the same outcome, so feel free to take your pick.

Following that, he will introduce his dog, named Bones, and add that Bones has a lot of energy and distracts all of the other bloodhounds, preventing them from getting any sleep because he just wants to play.

To tire out Bones, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. All five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

Bonus progress actions are tied to the upset witch and your character. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. Slide the screen left and right to check all available actions. 

However, after so much playing, Bones will still have a lot of energy, and after a brief moment of thinking, you’ll come up with the idea that Barnaby could use a sleep charm to put his dog to rest.

However, instead of hitting the dog, Barnaby’s sleep charm will accidentally hit you.

At one point, a familiar voice will start to wake you up.

When you wake up, you’ll realize you’re at Hogwarts and see an adult Rowan standing in front of you, which will be an incredibly heartwarming moment for you, though, naturally, you’ll feel confused.

Rowan will say that your top-secret Ministry job must be keeping you late. He’ll add that you should point him in the direction of your mysterious boss, and he’ll have a chat with him about proper working hours.

Rowan will notice that you look out of sorts and will ask what’s gotten into you. There are three different options to choose from. All of them will eventually lead to the same outcome, so feel free to take your pick.  

In any case, Rowan will remind you that you both had dinner with Jacob and Olivia the previous night and enjoyed each other’s company. Naturally, this will seem odd to you, as you’re aware that this event didn’t actually happen and that you might be experiencing a pleasant dream. Rowan will notice your confusion, give you a heartfelt hug, and reassure you that your friendship with Rowan will never fade.

Shortly after, Rowan will mention that it’s his first day as a professor at Hogwarts and he is feeling nervous. You’ll respond by reminding Rowan that his dream of becoming a professor has finally come true and that they should savor every moment of it.

You’ll suggest that the two of you figure it out together and explore which teaching style suits Rowan best. To discuss teaching styles, you need to earn five stars within three hours. All five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

The bonus progress actions are tied to your character. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. 

This line will differ based on which house you were in at Hogwarts.

Rowan will then explain that he admires Professor McGonagall for being strict but fair, appreciating her seriousness about teaching and her sense of justice. On the other hand, Professor Sprout is warm and friendly, making Rowan feel he could share anything with her. He’ll also mention that Professor Kettleburn was always adventurous and hands-on, inspiring him to embrace and overcome his fears.

Following that, Rowan will ask for your opinion on which of these three teaching styles you think would suit him best. There are three different options to choose from. These options will influence some dialogue that will follow, but they won’t impact the story.

Rowan will then thank you, adding that you always steer him in the right direction. This line will differ based on your previous choice.

Soon after, you’ll notice a student who looks lost, so Rowan will ask if she needs help.

She’ll say she should be in Charms Class but got a bit distracted. Rowan will add that she shouldn’t be late for her first class but understands that it’s her first day. These lines will differ based on your previous choice.

Rowan will thank you and then escort Miss Lovegood to her class, mentioning that you’ll catch up soon as he needs to sort out some last-minute details.

Go to the Clocktower Courtyard to continue the story. Upon arriving, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you’re curious to see what they have to say. While chatting with Rowan, you’ll notice that Luna Lovegood is watching him intently. You’ll mention to Rowan that it seems like he’s gained a fan already.

Following that, Luna will approach Rowan and ask if he could help her review what she learned in her Charms class. Rowan will wonder if the curriculum has changed and will ask you if you remember what you first learned in your initial Charms class. The correct answer is “Lumos”.

However, Luna will say that Professor Flitwick first taught them Wingardium Leviosa.

To help Luna, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. Three stars are required to pass.

Bonus progress actions are tied to Luna Lovegood and your character. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. Slide the screen left and right to check all available actions. 

Rowan will then tell her that if she ever needs help in the future, she shouldn’t hesitate to ask.

Luna will say that you are also very good at teaching and ask if you’ve ever thought about becoming a professor yourself. There are three different options to choose from. These options will influence some dialogue that will follow, but they won’t impact the story.

Rowan will notice that it’s time for lunch and will tell Luna to head to the Great Hall so they don’t miss the meal.

You’ll need to wait six hours before you can continue. 

Proceed to the Great Hall once the waiting time is over. Upon arriving, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you’re curious to see what they have to say.

Rowan will remark that it hasn’t been long since you were a student yourself and will suggest that you watch the new students. He’s curious to know what you think of them and how they compare to your own experiences.

To observe the students, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. All five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

Bonus progress actions are tied to Percy and your character. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. Slide the screen left and right to check all available actions. 

You’ll notice that Rowan seems a bit nervous, so you’ll ask if he’s feeling unsettled by speculating about the students and reminiscing. Rowan will reassure you that it’s not that but rather just his nerves. 

He’ll add that you seem perfectly suited to be there and that he has doubt he belongs at Hogwarts as a professor. There are two different options to choose from. These options will influence some dialogue that will follow, but they won’t impact the story.

Rowan will then express his sincere appreciation for your support on his first day as a professor and will bid you a warm farewell.

Shortly after, you’ll find yourself drifting back to sleep.

When you awaken, you’ll find Barnaby looking extremely worried about you.

Barnaby will explain that Bones dodged his sleeping charm, causing it to bounce off and hit you instead.

You’ll then suggest sharing the dream you had with him so you can hear his perspective on it. To recount your dream, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. All five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

Bonus progress actions are tied to the wizard next to you and your character. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. 

Barnaby will be quite surprised when he hears about your dream involving Rowan. He’ll then share a troubling dream he had himself and ask if you found your dream about Rowan enjoyable. 

There are three different options to choose from. These options will influence some dialogue that will follow, but they won’t impact the story.

Following that, Barnaby will apologize for accidentally hitting you with the sleep charm.

This will mark the end of Dreams of Rowan Adventure. Hit the Collect button to claim your rewards. You will receive 2 Gems, 2 Chocolate Frogs, and 500 Experience Points.

You’ll earn the achievement for completing the adventure.

You will also receive an Antique Bookshelf.

As you awaken from your unexpected nap, you find yourself back in the present, and the realization that Rowan Khanna’s presence was a beautiful dream brings a bittersweet sense of closure.
