Introduction

Hello everyone, welcome to Part 1 of our Walkthrough for Family Feast Adventure of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. This adventure is available for students of Year 3 Chapter 8 and above, and once you unlock it, you will have 3 days and twenty-one hours to complete it. Get ready for a new friend, Jules Egwu! Help Andre’s stylish cousin fit in before the family feast. Join Jules on a magical adventure and unlock a rare friendship!

(Disclaimer: The walkthrough will feature the gameplay from the perspective of a graduate student. Since the adventure is available for students of Year 3 and above, the star and attribute requirements for certain tasks might be different for you, depending on your current progress with the main story.)

Proceed to the Three Broomstick when you are ready to meet with Andre. Upon arriving, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you’re curious to see what they have to say. When you arrive, you will see Andre waiting for you.

He’ll mention having news that will change your friend group forever, sparking your curiosity about the nature of the revelation.

He’ll mention that when the moment is appropriate, the two of you will journey to Godric’s Hollow for a significant reveal. Until then, he’ll propose enjoying a butterbeer together. You’ll agree and ask for a hint about the surprise, to which he’ll agree, expressing that it’s a fantastic way to pass the time. To complete the next task, you need to earn five stars within three hours. Three stars are required to pass. 

Bonus progress actions are tied to the man at the table next to you, Andre, and your character. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. Slide the screen left and right to check all available actions. 

After you finish, you’ll find out that your friend group is going to grow and a big surprise is coming to England. You’ll tell him that maybe you have a guess, prompting him to ask about your thoughts on the nature of the surprise. You can reply in three ways. The correct answer is “A new friend is moving here”.

After that, Andre will share that someone very dear to him is moving to Godric’s Hollow. Your curiosity will be piqued, and Andre will suggest a visit to Godric’s Hollow to uncover the surprise.

Go to Godric’s Hollow to continue the story. When you arrive, you’ll approach Jules, who is Andre’s cousin.

These lines will differ based on whether you completed A Scandal in Hogsmeade Adventure.

You will wish her a warm welcome.

She’ll share that after years of constant movement, her parents have chosen Godric’s Hollow as their current home. You’ll ask about the reason for choosing Godric’s Hollow, and she’ll mention that her parents are contributing to a special Magizoology project for the Ministry. She’ll explain that they prefer the quieter life in Godric’s Hollow over the bustling atmosphere of London. Following that, Andre will ask you for a small favor.

You’ll be surprised to hear that there will also be a feast, and Andre will explain that he is throwing a family appreciation feast in Jules’s honor. You’ll comment that it is a bit late to get everyone’s family there, but Andre will tell you to leave that concern to him and focus on spreading the word and introducing Jules.

You’ll suggest that Jules tell you how she sees herself so that it will help you figure out how best to introduce her to all your different friends. To complete the next task, you need to earn five stars within three hours. All five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

Bonus progress actions are tied to Andre, Jules, and your character. Prioritize these actions to save some energy.

When you’re done, you’ll sum up the things you learned about Jules.

She will add that she thinks it is a plus to say what’s on your mind, but that not everyone agrees with her. She’ll want to know if, considering what you’ve heard, you think she would fit in well with your group of friends. There are three options to choose from. If you like Jules, it is recommended to pick the first option.

Afterward, you’ll suggest starting by visiting Penny. This line will differ based on whether you completed A Scandal in Hogsmeade Adventure

You’ll say you’re going to greet her, invite her to a feast, and see how things go, and after that, you can decide if you need to make any adjustments to your approach. Jules will agree with you and say it’s a brilliant idea, but before that, she has a few things to do.

Proceed to Godric’s Hollow Square when you are ready to talk with Andre. Andre will want to tell you a little about his cousin before you start introducing her to your friends.

You’ll express concern and ask if everything is alright, but he’ll reassure you that everything will be fine and encourage you to listen to him. To discover Andre’s concern you need to earn five stars within three hours. All five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start this task with a full energy bar.

Bonus progress actions are tied to Andre and your character. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. 

After your conversation, you’ll learn that Andre is concerned because his cousin tends to be very direct, and if a first impression doesn’t go well, she might write off potential friendships.

He’ll express the hope that you’ll stay by her side and assist in softening some of her sharp edges until she becomes more comfortable. You can reply in two ways. These options will influence some dialogue that will follow, but they won’t impact the story.

Andre will trust that you can make a positive impact on Jules and believe that you are the one who can help her.

You’ll thank him for his words, but he’ll insist that he should be thanking you, not the other way around.

Shortly after, he’ll ask you a question. There are three options to choose from. If you like Andre, it is recommended to pick the first option.

Following that, he’ll thank you for listening to him and say that he hopes you can keep this conversation between you, because he doesn’t want Jules to think that he doesn’t trust her. He’ll add that he just wants his cousin to be happy.

Go to the Potions Classroom to meet with Penny. When you arrive, you’ll notice Penny preparing a potion, and you’ll ask if she has a moment.

These lines will differ based on whether you completed A Scandal in Hogsmeade Adventure.

You’ll update Penny that Jules has recently relocated to Godric’s Hollow, officially becoming a local resident.

Jules will invite Penny and her family to the feast, but Penny will express uncertainty about her parents being able to attend on short notice. Nonetheless, she’ll assure you that she will be there and looks forward to spending time with both of you. As you plan to continue, Jules will notice that Penny is brewing a Wiggenwell potion.

Jules will say that she can help and that she knows a trick for making Wiggenweld potions twice as potent. Following that, she will take Penny’s place and start brewing a potion. Needless to say, Penny won’t be happy about that.

Jules will be confident in her skills.

Following that, Penny will ask you for your opinion. There are two options to choose from. If you like Penny, it is recommended to pick the second option.

After that, Jules will suggest that you help her so she doesn’t make a mistake.

To help Jules brew a potion, you need to earn five stars within three hours. Three stars are required to pass.

The bonus progress actions are tied to Jules. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. 

After you finish, Jules will reassure you that the potion has come together nicely and that there’s no need to worry.

But at that moment the potion will explode.

You’ll attempt to reassure Penny by suggesting that you can try brewing a new potion again.

Penny will explain that the previous attempt was rushed, and now she needs to clean up and gather fresh ingredients for a new potion. You’ll offer to assist, but she’ll politely decline, expressing confidence in handling it on her own.

Before you leave you will ask Jules if she is all right.
