Walkthrough
Disclaimer: This walkthrough will feature the gameplay from the perspective of a Year 7 student. Since the adventure is available for students of Year 1 and above, the star and attribute requirements for certain tasks might be different for you, depending on your current progress of the main story.
When you get there, Charlie will tell you what kind of gift would be suitable for his dad.

Searching for Muggle artifacts is a three-hour task with the five stars passing requirement.

There are bonus progress actions tied to the cabinet on the left side and the baskets on the shelves, so be sure to complete them whenever you can to save some energy.

Once you are done, you’ll find an interesting item.

Charlie will be curious if you have any idea what it does. You have three options to choose from. Needless to say, picking the third option will result in some hilarious lines of dialogue, so it is absolutely recommended to go with that one.

In any case, both brothers will agree that their dad would love that present. All that’s left is to find a suitable gift for their mom. Charlie will tell you that his mother loves to knit, so a suitable present would be some sort of colorful wool.
Next, you should proceed to your Common Room to meet Rowan. Upon arriving, you will learn that Rowan often uses wool to connect the research notes. Luckily, your friend only used some of it, so the rest of it should be somewhere in the Common Room.

Searching for Mrs. Weasley’s gift is an hour-long task with a passing requirement of five stars. Because of this, it is somewhat recommended to have full energy before starting the task.

There is a bonus progress action tied to the book. Focus on it to save a bit of energy.

When you are done, you’ll find a hank of wool, perfect for knitting.

After that, you’ll consider doing something special for Mr. and Mrs. Weasley. Rowan will be curious to know what you have in mind. You have three possible choices.
While all of them will lead to the same task, selecting the third option will add an additional scene later on. That scene is quite touchy, and it expands the story quite a bit. It is recommended to pick it if you are interested to know more about your character’s backstory.

In any case, your next task will be to meet Merula in the Clocktower Courtyard. Proceed there when you are ready.
When you arrive, you’ll find her staring at the sky.

You will ask Merula why she is alone outside in the freezing cold. She will be rude and refuse to talk about it. You will explain that you want to invite her to the Christmas feast.
She will be surprised to hear that and say that she might go to the feast, but she’ll want to cast the Snowflake-Making Spell first. Apparently, it is a tradition of hers. You will ask her if she could teach you that spell.
Merula will agree to teach you the Snowflake-Making Spell. If you gave her a gift in the previous part, she will mention it here.

To learn the Snowflake-Making Spell, you need to earn five stars within three hours. Since all five stars are required to pass, it is not recommended to start this task if you are low on energy.

There are only two highlighted objects for this task – your character and Merula. The only bonus progress action available is tied to her, so if you are looking to optimize energy usage, it is recommended to prioritize her actions.

Once you are done, you’ll need to cast the Snowflake-Making Charm. Trace the wand movement on the screen to do so.

The spell will work and Merula will praise your performance.
Afterward, you will witness a heartbreaking scene during which Merula explains why she remained at Hogwarts.

She will also tell you how she learned the Snowflake-Making Spell.

However, soon after, she will change her expression and leave the courtyard, refusing to attend the Christmas feast with you and the others.
The next task is to meet Mr. and Mrs. Weasley in the Great Hall. However, there is a waiting period of three hours before you can continue. If you are eager to meet them, you can spend some gems or time toffees to speed up the process.
Either way, once the waiting time is over, you can head to the Great Hall to meet everyone.
Upon arriving, you’ll introduce yourself to Mr. and Mrs. Weasley.

Molly will mention that she came to Hogwarts because she wanted to see Charlie and Bill. Another honest reason is that Fred and George are driving her mad at home, so she invited aunt Muriel to be with them while she’s at Hogwarts.
Bill will tell his parents about the gifts.
Mr. Weasley will be the first one to open his present, and he’ll be absolutely amazed once he sees the item you got for him.

Shortly after, Mrs. Weasley will open her gift. The reaction on her face is saying everything.

You will then get the task to enjoy the Christmas Feast. To complete it, you need to obtain five stars within eight hours.

Be sure to read through the character lines while completing actions. Some of those are quite funny and interesting.

Once you are done, Merula will arrive and join the party. Apparently, she’s had a change of heart and decided to celebrate with you and the others.

After she introduces herself to Mrs. Weasley, you will decide to show everyone the spell she taught you.
Trace the wand movement on the screen to cast the Snowflake-Making Charm.

The snowflakes will slowly start falling and everyone will be amazed.

If you chose to tell a story, your character will share a very touchy and sensitive story about Christmas. Otherwise, you’ll simply wish Happy Christmas to everyone.
Afterward, Mrs. Weasley will give you a nice present.

Shortly after, the adventure will be over. Hit the Collect button to claim your reward – a winter outfit. You will also receive a nice amount of experience as well as 100 Empathy points.
You will earn the achievement for completing the adventure.

The winter outfit you received will be split into separate pieces, so you can wear each of those individually, or all together, it’s up to you.

That was a lovely and heartwarming adventure! It really sparked the Christmas spirit at Hogwarts. There will surely be times to think of the Cursed Vaults and other problems, but for now, it is time to celebrate and enjoy the holidays with loved ones!
Thank you for reading and see you soon with more amazing adventures!
