The Halloween Feast Part 3
Introduction
Hello everyone, welcome to Part 3 of our Walkthrough for The Halloween Feast Adventure of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. Last time, you met Chiara Lobosca, a girl who was attacked during the Feast.
You joined Cecil Lee in his ongoing investigation to locate and capture Fenrir and his pack of werewolves. Since he couldn’t find any helpful clues on the Training Grounds, Cecil decided to conduct several interviews and see if any of the Hogwarts’ staff knew something that could help.
You accompanied him, but even after the interviews, you didn’t learn much. For the next task, you should proceed to the Clocktower Courtyard to meet Hagrid.

Walkthrough
Disclaimer: This walkthrough will feature the gameplay from the perspective of a Year 1 student. Since the adventure is available for students of Year 1 and above, the star and attribute requirements for certain tasks might be different for you, depending on your current progress of the main story.
Once you get there, you’ll notice that Chiara is with him, together with a cute wolf cub named Borf.

After a bit of conversation, you’ll get the task to talk about Werewolves. To complete it, you need to earn five stars within an hour. One star is needed to pass (all five stars are required to pass for students of Year 3 and above).

Prioritize bonus progress actions when they are available if you want to save a bit of energy. There is one such action linked to Hagrid.

When you are done, Chiara will explain some things about werewolves to Cecil, but apparently, he has a very negative opinion of them.
Cecil will suggest getting back to the investigation. You can respond to him in three ways. Each of the options will lead to the same outcome, so you can feel free to pick the one you prefer.

Your next task involves talking to Chiara in a Corridor. Hit the GO button and proceed there when you are ready.
When you arrive, she’ll tell you that she has a secret she didn’t tell anyone yet, and she wants to share it with you. She’ll ask if you can promise to keep her secret.
You have three options to respond with. If you like Chiara, it is recommended to pick the first option and promise to keep her secret.

Talking to Chiara about her secret is the next task. To complete it, you need to earn five stars within three hours (eight hours for students of Year 3 and above). One star is needed to pass.

For this task, there are only two objects you can tap on – Chiara and you. There is a bonus progress action tied to Chiara, so focus on her actions if you want to save some energy.

When you are done, she’ll tell you that she, in fact, is a werewolf.

She managed to stay in control during the full moon by using Wolfsbane Potion, but she ran out of it. She’ll ask for your help with gathering some Aconite from the Potions Class as well as looking for someone capable of brewing the potion.
Gathering Aconite is your next task. Hit the GO button and proceed to the Potions Classroom when you are ready. Upon arriving, you’ll be able to interact with other students and see what they have to say to you.
The plan for gathering the ingredient is pretty simple. As soon as the class is over, Rowan will distract Snape while you get the Aconite. The only question is – how will your friend distract the Professor?
You have three options to choose from. Each of those will result in a pretty funny scene, but perhaps the best one is the one where Rowan picks a fight with Merula.

You’ll then get to attend the Potions class. To complete this class, you need to earn five stars within one hour. One star is needed to pass (five stars for students of Year 3 and above).

This is pretty similar to most of the story tasks with one exception – in the end, you’ll be rewarded some Knowledge and House Points. As for the class itself, prioritize actions with bonus progress to save some energy. There is one bonus progress action tied to Professor Snape.

Once the class is over, you’ll witness a funny scene during which Rowan distracts Professor Snape. This scene will differ, based on your previous choice.

This will give you ample opportunity to gather the Aconite, so the only thing that’s left is finding someone skilled enough to brew the Wolfsbane Potion. And who better to ask than Penny? Hit the GO button and proceed to the Great Hall to meet her.
Make sure to check out what some of the characters have to say once you arrive. Some of their lines are fairly interesting to read.
Penny will be very reluctant to help you, which is pretty understandable, given her history with werewolves. So, you’ll need to do some convincing. Tap on the handshake icon to open the task window.
It will display the recommended attribute levels and the cost of each attempt. Once you are ready, hit the Start button to begin.

The recommended attribute levels for this task will be similar to your current attribute levels. This means that the task will always be challenging, and you’ll need to answer the questions correctly in order to successfully complete it.
In general, pick the options that will reassure Penny that everything will be all right, and you shouldn’t have too much trouble completing this task. Below you can find the questions and answers to them.
- Why do you need my help? – You’re brilliant with potions (Knowledge)
- Wolfsbane Potion is complex… – It will be a great test of your skills. (Knowledge)
- What is the potion for? – To help a friend. (Empathy)
- We could get in trouble… – I’ll make sure we don’t get caught. (Courage)
- Werewolves are my greatest fear. – I’ll make sure you’re safe. (Courage)
- I’m just not sure about this… – I really need your help, Penny. (Empathy)
When you are done, Penny will ask you to promise her that you won’t rush into a fight with Fenrir Greyback. You can respond in three ways.

While each choice will pretty much lead to the same outcome, it is recommended to pick the first option if you want to put Penny’s mind at ease. With this, the third part of the adventure will be over. Hit the Collect button to claim your reward. You will receive Cecil Lee’s hat.
Things are slowly wrapping up. Will all that investigation pay off in the end? Will Cecil be able to locate Fenrir and his werewolves? And what will happen if they attack again? Find out in the fourth and final part of this thrilling adventure!
Thank you for reading.
