Hogsmeade Carnival Event Guide

The Hogsmeade Carnival event is a special feature in Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery, offering players a chance to earn rewards by participating in various activities and games at the festival grounds. Here is a detailed breakdown of the event.

General Information
Event Start: The Festival Grounds event is accessible from Year 1, Chapter 8.
Location: The Festival Grounds are positioned in Hogsmeade, between Zonko’s and the Hog’s Head Inn. Even if you haven’t unlocked Hogsmeade, you can still access the Festival Grounds via the event tab by clicking the ‘Go’ link.
Starting Tokens: Players start with 30 Tokens. Additional Tokens can be earned through different in-game activities.
Purpose: Tokens are used at the Festival Grounds to engage in games at various booths. Tickets gained from these games can be accumulated and redeemed for prizes.
Daily Ticket Tappie: A Ticket Tappie is available at the carnival grounds where you can collect 10 tickets each day with a 24-hour cooldown. Any active boost will also apply to these tickets when claimed.
How to Earn Tokens
Tokens can be collected through several in-game activities:
Classes and Tasks:
- 5-star Task (regardless of length): 25 Tokens (Earn 5 Tokens per star if all stars are achieved; otherwise, 4 Tokens per star)
- 8-hour Class: 25 Tokens (Earn 5 Tokens per star if all stars are achieved; otherwise, 4 Tokens per star)
- 3-hour Class: 12 Tokens
- 1-hour Class: 8 Tokens (For Year 6/7 players, ‘Search for Creature Food’ is a good option, providing 12 Tokens for 48-50 energy)
- 30-minute Assignment: 4 Tokens
Duels:

- You can purchase 20 Tokens for 50 Gems by tapping the “plus” button next to the Token count.

Using Tokens and Collecting Tickets
The availability of booths can vary, but generally, Tokens are spent to participate in games at the booths. Tickets earned from these games are collected and can be redeemed for a variety of prizes.

FPE: First-Person Exploration – Get close to the creature until you see a white outline around it, then click to interact.
Boosts and Rewards
Boosts: You can buy a Boost for 120 Gems, which will double the number of Tickets you earn for 2 days after activation.
Rewards: Rewards are structured similarly to the Magical Milestones event. You can claim these rewards at the Prize Booth located at the Festival Grounds or through the Festival Event window in the Events tab.
