The Gift of Gratitude Part 2
Introduction
Hello everyone, welcome to Part 2 of our Walkthrough for The Gift of Gratitude Adventure of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. Last time, you learned that Professor Snape will be in charge of Hogwarts during the Christmas holiday.
You informed him that you would stay at the castle during the holidays, and shortly after, Hagrid asked Charlie and you to help him decorate the Great Hall. Needless to say, you were happy to assist him with that, and after doing some work, the Great Hall looked incredibly festive.
Unfortunately, Charlie got injured while trying to place a topper on a Christmas tree, and because of that, he was unable to return home. Furthermore, he informed you that he wanted to repay a debt to Bilton Bilmes, but is unable to do so because he has to stay in bed.
Being a good friend, you offered to work off his debt as a Christmas gift to him. After talking to Bilton, he agreed to your proposition, and now is the time to make some deliveries for Zonko’s. Proceed to Hogsmeade Train Station when you are ready.

You will happily greet Madam Puddifoot and ask if she’s expecting a delivery from Zonko’s. This dialogue will differ slightly, depending on whether or not you met her before.

She’ll nod and ask if you have the Hiccough Sweets she requested. You’ll tell her that you do. She’ll thank you for delivering the items to her.
You will be curious to know why she ordered those items. Apparently, some of her customers requested those sweets, which is why she ordered them from Zonko’s.

You will be surprised to hear that. Moments later, she will thank you for bringing her the sweets and leave.
Suddenly, Professor Snape will appear behind you. This will startle you a bit. He will warn you to be more aware of your surroundings.
You’ll wonder what he’s doing in Hogsmeade. He will calmly tell you to mind your own business.

You will apologize to him for prying. The Professor will advise you not to be too curious about other people’s affairs.
He’ll also suggest you return to Hogwarts before nightfall. You will smile and say that you are almost done with your deliveries.

He will be curious about that.
Explaining yourself to Snape requires earning five stars within three hours. All five stars are needed to pass, which is why you shouldn’t start this task if you are low on energy.

There are two bonus progress actions linked to your character, so prioritize those if you are looking to save some energy.

You will sum things up and say that you are working off Charlie’s debt. The Professor will be surprised to hear that.
He will ask if there’s anything you’re getting out of your arrangement with Charlie. There are three options to choose from. All of these will lead to the same outcome, so feel free to take your pick.

Snape will be very surprised by your selflessness. You’ll thank him for his kind words. He’ll advise you to visit Charlie once you’re done with your deliveries.
You will ask Snape about Charlie’s recovery. As it seems, he is recovering well, but he could definitely appreciate some company.

You will decide to visit your friend and see how he is doing. Proceed to the Hospital Wing when you are ready. You will notice Mr. and Mrs. Weasley once you arrive.
The following lines of dialogue will differ, depending on whether you met Charlie’s parents before or not. If this is your first time meeting them, Charlie will introduce you. Otherwise, you will greet them happily.

You will be sad about not being able to meet them under different circumstances. Charlie will once again insist that he is fine.
Molly will tell him to calm down and rest. She’ll inform you that they couldn’t let Charlie spend Christmas alone, which is why they decided to surprise him with a visit.

Thankfully, Bill and Percy were kind enough to look after the other Weasley children while their parents are gone.
Charlie will seem a bit unhappy that he cannot leave the bed. His father will say that they just want him to recover as fast as possible.

You’ll ask if maybe you should visit at a different time. Mrs. Weasley will tell you to stay and keep Charlie company. She’ll also want to hear about your Christmas plans.
Chatting with the Weasleys requires earning five stars within eight hours. All five stars are needed to pass.

The only action with bonus progress here is linked to your character, so focus on it if you want to save a bit of energy.

Mrs. Weasley will be surprised to hear that you are spending your holiday time helping Charlie.

Mr. Weasley will also be impressed by your selflessness. Charlie will thank you for being kind enough to work off his debt to Zonko’s.
Mrs. Weasley will ask about your favorite part of working for Zonko’s. There are three options to choose from. This choice won’t have any major influence on the story, so feel free to pick whichever option you prefer.

Upon mentioning Professor Snape, Arthur will tell you that he said something about Charlie and his injury. Molly will also say a few words about Snape.

Charlie will hope that you didn’t have any bad experience with the Professor. You will smile and say that Snape was very nice to you once he heard that you are helping Charlie repay his debt.
Your friend will be shocked to hear that. He will ask you about your next delivery for Zonko’s.

You’ll inform him you have some things to deliver to Madam Rosmerta. Proceed to the Three Broomsticks when you are ready to continue.
Upon arriving, you will be able to interact with some of the characters and see what they have to say.
You will happily greet Madam Rosmerta and tell her that you have a delivery for her.

Unfortunately, she will be too busy serving her customers. She’ll kindly ask you to wait for a while until she’s done.
You will quickly offer to help her in order to speed things up. She’ll gladly accept your assistance.
Helping Madam Rosmerta requires earning five stars within three hours. All five stars are needed to pass, so avoid starting this task if you are out of energy.

There are bonus progress actions linked to your character, the table on the right side, and an empty mug. Focus on those actions if you want to save as much energy as possible.

Madam Rosmerta will be very satisfied with your help.

You’ll thank her for praising you and ask if she’s ready to accept the delivery. She will nod and take the boxes of Christmas crackers you brought.
Before exiting the Three Broomsticks, you will notice Snape sitting at one of the tables, looking extremely miserable.

You will approach his table and cheerfully greet him. He will quickly change his expression and ask if you are still running deliveries for Zonko’s.
You’ll tell him you’ve just completed your last delivery and ask if he could use some company. Apparently, he won’t mind having a conversation with you.

You will ask him about the current situation at Hogwarts. He’ll tell you that he doesn’t need to do much about the castle itself. His main concern is taking care of the students.
You’ll ask if any of the students gave him some trouble. As it seems, other than the situation with Charlie, everything else has been pretty calm.

He’ll tell you that the only thing he wishes would be some Holiday Blancmange he enjoyed while he was young.

Unfortunately, nobody in Hogsmeade makes it. You will ask the Professor to tell you more about this holiday treat.
While he won’t be too sure about all the ingredients, he will tell you about the ones he is certain about.

He will ask if this treat sounds appealing to you. There are two options to reply with. If you like Professor Snape, it is recommended to pick the first option. Otherwise, feel free to choose either one.

Before you leave, Snape will thank you for having a conversation with him.

Now is the time to check in with Bilton. Head to Zonko’s Joke shop when you are ready. When you arrive, you will notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters.
You will ask Bilton if he has any more deliveries planned for the day. As it seems, you’ve successfully completed all the Christmas deliveries. He will be very pleased with your work.

Still, he will admit he has another task for you. He’ll ask you to remember three numbers for him in the order he calls them out.
As it seems, it is something related to his records. You’ll gladly agree to help him with this final task.

Bilton will let you know he’s been very happy with your work ethic. You will thank him for his compliments.
Suddenly, he will yell the number 16. That’s the number of Nose-Biting Teacups left in the store.

He’ll also say that you made the deliveries much faster than he expected. In fact, he’ll be quite certain you did them faster than Charlie would have.
Moments later, he’ll tell you there are 5 Fanged Frisbees left in the store.

Lastly, he will inform you that there are 8 Dungbombs left.

Shortly after, he will ask you to recall the numbers he told you in order. There are three options to choose from. The correct answer is 16 first, then 5, then 8. Be sure to answer this question correctly since it will have some impact on the story later on.

As a special bonus, Bilton will allow you to go on a shopping spree as a reward for working off Charlie’s debt.
You’ll be curious if this is one of his tricks. He will laugh once he hears your question.

As it seems, he’s quite serious about letting you take a few items. You will decide to use the opportunity to pick some gifts for your friends.
Going on a shopping spree requires earning five stars within three hours. Since all five stars are needed to pass, it is not recommended to start this task if your energy bar is empty.

Be sure to slide the screen left and right to see all the available actions. There is a bonus progress action tied to some of the items on one of the shelves. Prioritizing it should save you a bit of energy.

In the end, you will pick up some nice presents for your friends. You will thank Bilton for letting you take those items from the store.

He’ll ask if you took anything for Charlie. You will nod and say you got some Sugar Quills for him.
If you managed to correctly answer Bilton’s question about his inventory, he will let you take a Dungbomb as his present for Charlie.

He’ll also tell you to inform Charlie that he’s welcome to return to the store after he recovers. Needless to say, your friend will surely appreciate the news.
This will mark the end of Part 2 of The Gift of Gratitude adventure. Hit the Collect button to claim your reward. You will receive 3 Gems and 1 Chocolate Frog.
Now that Charlie’s debt has been repaid, you can finally enjoy the Christmas holiday. But how will your friends react to your gifts? Will they like them? Find out in the next part of this lovely adventure.
