How to Complete South Coast Battle Arena in Under 3 Minutes on Hard Difficulty

Hello everyone. Here is a guide on how to complete South Coast Battle Arena in less than 3 minutes on hard difficulty. Like the other battle arenas, this one can be quite challenging, and it is not recommended to do it before you hit level 30. Thankfully, if you are doing some side content and collectibles, it won’t take you long to reach that level.

South Coast Battle Arena is located in Feldcroft, southwest of Irondale. To access this arena, you first need to destroy 20 vases that are scattered around the area. This is the objective of a side quest called E-Vase-Ive Manoeuvre. You can start this quest by talking to Althea Twiddle in Irondale.

Once you accept the quest, a location will be marked on your map. Follow it to reach the arena. When you get there, you’ll need to destroy 20 vases to complete the quest objective and gain access to the arena. Use Revelio to see where the vases are.

Once you are done, you can start the arena. South Coast Battle Arena consists of five waves of enemies. You will need to defeat all of the enemies to progress to the next wave.

There are certain talents you can take to make this arena much easier. Here is the list of them:

• Edurus Potion Potency – This talent will make your character completely immune to damage while Edurus Potion is in effect. This potion lasts for 20 seconds, and you can carry 12 of them, which means that you can be immune to damage for a total of 4 minutes, which is more than enough time to complete this arena.
• Maxima Potion Potency – This talent will not only significantly increase your damage output while Maxima Potion is in effect, but will also cause all your attacks and spells to break enemy shields. The effect of this potion lasts for 20 seconds, and you can carry 12 of them, which perfectly syncs up with Edurus Potion Potency.
• Focus Potion Potency – With this talent, the duration of your Focus Potion will be extended each time you cast a spell. Needless to say, it is quite helpful for the battle arena.
• Talents that improve your offensive spells (such as Confringo, Bombarda, and Diffindo) are very useful, especially during the effects of your potions.

Before starting the arena, make sure you have at least 10 Focus, Maxima, and Edurus Potions. Also, place your high-damage spells in one set (Expelliarmus, Diffindo, Confringo, and Bombarda).

Whenever a wave of enemies spawns, drink Edurus, Maxima, and Focus potions, and immediately start blasting the enemies with your offensive spells. You don’t need to worry much about enemy attacks since you will be completely invulnerable during the Edurus Potion effect.

However, be sure to keep track of the duration of your potions, and just as they’re about to expire, use another set of potions. This will give you about 40 seconds to deal with each wave, which should be more than enough, considering the huge offensive boost you will receive from your potions. It is also worth mentioning that Ancient Magic and Ancient Magic Throw will be affected by Maxima Potion, so you can feel free to use those as well.
