Introduction

Hello everyone, welcome to our Walkthrough for Norbert Transport Adventure of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. This adventure is available for witches and wizards who reached Beyond Hogwarts Volume 1 Chapter 14, and once you unlock it, you will have 1 day and 19 hours to complete it. Charlie got a message from Ron saying that Hagrid’s hiding a dragon, which is not allowed. Your job is to find Norbert and take him to the Dragon Sanctuary to keep him safe. As the adventure begins, you’ll need to act fast to help Hagrid and Norbert before things get worse!

Proceed to the Clearing at the Dragon Sanctuary when you are ready. When you arrive, Charlie will be happy to see you.

These lines of dialogue will differ based on whether you’ve completed A Weasley Christmas Vacation Adventure. However, if you haven’t finished it, you will catch up with Charlie, where you will have one additional choice.

Following that, Charlie will mention that he didn’t just invite you over for a catch-up, and you’ll respond by noting that his owl did sound rather urgent.

He’ll explain to you that it’s about a Norwegian Ridgeback named Norbert, belonging to your old friend Hagrid.

You’ll find it odd that Hagrid is keeping a dragon at Hogwarts despite it being forbidden, and Charlie will explain that Hagrid is aware of that, and it’s not the only issue; the other is that the dragon is growing rapidly day by day.

He’ll explain to you that his brother Ron asked for his help, and he accepted. Additionally, your friends Talbott, Merula, Liz, and Barnaby have already planned to visit him. He asked them if they could transport Norbert to him. 

They plan to meet Ron in the tallest tower of Hogwarts at midnight for the handover of Norbert. You’ll find it strange why they need your assistance, and Charlie will say that you have a crucial role in their operation. Then he’ll begin explaining his plan. 

To discover your role, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. All five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

Bonus progress actions are tied to Charlie and your character. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. 

Once you’re done, you’ll discover that your role is to act as a lookout at Hogwarts while Ron is handing off Norbert to your friends.

He’ll say that he’s extremely confident that you can handle any situation with the professors or, even worse, Filch, and he’ll ask if you’re as confident in your abilities as a lookout. There are three different options to choose from. All of them will eventually lead to the same outcome, so feel free to take your pick.

Shortly after, he’ll mention that he has to prepare the Norwegian Ridgeback Nest for Norbert’s arrival, and you’ll head straight to Hogwarts for the handoff.

Go to the East Towers Corridor to continue the story. You’ll reach the corridor that leads to the tallest tower in Hogwarts.

This means Talbott, Merula, Barnaby, and Liz should make the exchange right now! You’ll be certain that everything is going according to plan. However, Mrs. Norris, Mr. Filch’s cat, will appear, indicating that he is nearby.

Of course, Mr. Filch will appear and ask you what you’re doing there at such a late hour of the night.

He’ll ask if you have a proper explanation for the illegal trespassing. There are three different options to choose from. These options will influence some dialogue that will follow, but they won’t impact the story.

However, despite Mr. Filch’s determination to throw you out, you’ll suggest that he give you another chance to persuade him why it’s important for you to stay.

To distract Flich, you need to earn five stars within three hours. All five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

The bonus progress actions are tied to Mr.Flich. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. 

Once you successfully convince Mr. Filch not to throw you out, you’ll breathe a sigh of relief.

However, when Mrs. Norris senses someone approaching, Mr. Filch will grow suspicious.

You’ll attempt to convince him that it was just a false alarm, but Mr. Filch will remain determined to investigate further.

Unfortunately, he’ll catch Harry Potter and his friend Hermione.

Then, you’ll decide to meet up with Merula, Talbott, Liz, and Barnaby to assess what happened and whether your mission was successful despite Harry Potter and Hermione being caught.

Proceed to your Flat when you are ready to meet with your friends. When you arrive, you’ll greet your friends, and Barnaby will mention that they have a lot to tell you about the handoff at Hogwarts. 

You’ll tell them that while you were on the lookout when Filch arrived, you tried to distract him as much as possible, but you’re unsure if it was enough.

To learn about the handoff, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. Three stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

Bonus progress actions are tied to Talbott, Merula, and your character. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. 

You’ll learn that, fortunately, the handoff was a success. Merula will add that it was successful but with complications. Barnaby will explain that Charlie’s brother, Ron, was bitten on the hand by Norbert, and he couldn’t be at the tower. You’ll realize that this explains why you saw Harry Potter and Hermione.

You’ll ask them where Norbert is now. Barnaby will say that Norbert is here, and then he’ll ask you what you think about him. There are two different options to choose from. These options will influence some dialogue that will follow, but they won’t impact the story.

You’ll also add that you saw Filch catching Harry and Hermione in the corridor.

This line will differ based on your previous choice.

Following that, Barnaby will ask you if you think it’s your fault they were caught. There are two different options to choose from. Both of them will eventually lead to the same outcome, so feel free to take your pick.

Merula will say that they should have been more careful and used an Invisibility Cloak, while Barnaby will express hope that they’re okay because they’ve helped you a lot with this case.

Then you’ll decide to transport Norbert to the Dragon Sanctuary.

Proceed to the Norwegian Ridgeback Nest at the Dragon Sanctuary when you are ready. Your friends and you will successfully transport Norbert.

Charlie will be very pleased that you succeeded and will ask if there were any troubles. You’ll inform him that unfortunately, his brother Ron was bitten on the hand by Norbert, so he wasn’t able to meet you at Hogwarts.

You’ll tell him that Harry Potter and Hermione Granger did the handoff instead of Ron, but they weren’t careful, and Mr. Filch caught them. Charlie will find it odd because Ron told him that they had access to an Invisibility Cloak. Then Charlie will notice that Norbert is a bit nervous.

Charlie will say that if Norbert can’t adapt to its new environment, it could lead to problems with the other dragons. Then you’ll suggest that you all help Norbert get comfortable together. 

To complete the next task, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. All five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

You’ll decide to give Norbert Hagrid’s teddy bear, and luckily, it will calm him down, making him feel much better.

Shortly after, Charlie will mention that Ron told him Hagrid is quite broken up about having to give up Norbert. He’ll ask if you think Hagrid is being reasonable. There are two options to choose from. If you like Hagrid, it is recommended to pick the second option.

You’ll decide to visit Hagrid and cheer him up a bit.

Go to Hagrid’s Garden to continue the story. When you arrive, you’ll see that Hagrid is very sad.

He’ll say he’s glad to see you, but that you caught him at a difficult time. You’ll say that you know about Norbert and that you also helped transport him to Charlie.

He’ll say he wishes Norbert didn’t have to go. This line will differ based on your previous choice. 

He’ll add that he supposes you heard what happened to Harry and Hermione then, but you’ll tell him that you don’t know and that you just left Norbert with Charlie in the Dragon Sanctuary. 

You’ll suggest telling him how Norbert is, and he’ll share with you what happened with Harry and Hermione. To complete the next task, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. All five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

Bonus progress actions are tied to Hagrid, Fang, and your character. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. 

You’ll comfort Hagrid and tell him that Norbert is adjusting quite well to his new surroundings, and with Charlie watching over him, he doesn’t have anything to worry about.

You’ll then ask him what happened with Harry and Hermione, and he’ll tell you that they were caught by Filch and given detention. Additionally, their house lost 150 House points. Hagrid will also add that he feels responsible since they were just trying to help him with Norbert. This line will differ based on your previous choice. 

Hagrid will say that you were trying to help them and that you can’t be responsible for that. Following that, he’ll ask you if he should accept the blame for Harry and Hermione getting into trouble. 

There are three options to choose from. If you like Jae, it is recommended to pick the first or second option.

Hagrid will be very grateful that you helped him.

This will mark the end of Norbert Transport Adventure. Hit the Collect button to claim your reward. You will receive 2 Gems, 2 Chocolate Frogs, and 500 Experience Points. You’ll earn the achievement for completing the adventure.

You will also receive Norbert’s nightstand reward.
