Tulip will tell you she needs your help to break into Dumbledore’s office. You’ll be surprised to hear that.

According to Tulip, the Headmaster is in the courtyard, so she wants to use the opportunity to sneak into his office.
You’ll ask her to slow down and explain why she wants to break into Dumbledore’s office.

Hearing Tulip out requires earning five stars within one hour. Three stars are needed to pass.

There are bonus progress actions tied to Mrs. Norris and your character. Focusing on those actions should save you a bit of energy.

Apparently, Tulip wants to steal the Sorting Hat. She’ll say she is unsure if she belongs in Ravenclaw.

According to her, there is no way the Sorting Hat is right 100% of the time. There are two options to reply with. While this choice won’t significantly impact the story, if you like Tulip, it is recommended to pick the first option.

In any case, you will agree to help her out. If your character is a Prefect or a Head Boy/Girl, this line will be different.

You’ll decide to go to the courtyard and talk to the Headmaster. That way, you won’t risk getting punished for breaking into his office.

Head to the courtyard when you are ready to talk to Dumbledore. Once you arrive, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you are curious to see what they have to say.
You’ll approach the Headmaster and ask for a moment of his time. Thankfully, he’ll be happy to hear you out.

You will tell him you want to talk about the Sorting Ceremony. You’ll say that your friend Tulip has some questions about the ceremony. If your character is a Ravenclaw and a Prefect, you’ll get an additional line of dialogue here.

You will then ask for an audience with the Sorting Hat. Professor Dumbledore will say that you might need to wait a while before the Sorting Hat is available. He’ll ask you to tell him more about Tulip’s concern in the meantime.

Talking to Dumbledore is your next task. You need to earn five stars within three hours to complete it. Three stars are required to pass.

Be sure to slide the screen left and right to see all the available actions. There are bonus progress actions tied to your character and the Headmaster. Prioritize those actions to save energy.

Dumbledore will tell you that students sometimes feel the same way as Tulip.

You’ll say that a quick conversation with the Sorting Hat should solve the problem. You will ask Dumbledore if he can arrange it.
Before answering your question, the Headmaster will ask if you share Tulip’s concern about being placed in your house. This choice will affect many dialogues during the adventure, so keep that in mind. If you are absolutely sure you belong in your house, you should pick the second option. If you, like Tulip, have some doubts about it, you should go with the first option.

Thankfully, Professor Dumbledore will agree to let Tulip and you talk to the Sorting Hat.

You’ll be happy to hear that. Go to the Headmaster’s office when you are ready to continue. Tulip will thank you for talking to the Headmaster.

Hopefully, Tulip will get the answers she seeks after talking to the Sorting Hat. You’ll find the hat working on the next year’s sorting song.

You will apologize for interrupting and say that you want to talk about the Sorting Ceremony.

The Sorting Hat will ask for your help with finishing a rhyme.

If you succeed, you will be able to ask any questions you like. You need to earn five stars within three hours to complete this task. All five stars are required to pass.

There are bonus progress actions tied to the Sorting Hat and your character. Focus on those actions to save energy.

In the end, you will be able to choose one of two options for the rhyme. This choice won’t significantly impact the story, so feel free to pick either option.

The Sorting Hat will thank you for your help. The following line will differ, based on the house you’re in.

You will then ask about the Sorting Ceremony. The choice you picked while talking to the Headmaster will take effect here.

If your character is a Prefect or a Head Boy/Girl, you will get an additional line of dialogue.

Tulip will also say a few words to express her concerns.

The Sorting Hat will admit that a student in the wrong house would be quite a problem. Luckily, there’s nothing to worry about since that never happened before.

The Sorting Hat will thank you for your help before going to sleep.

Tulip won’t be sure if that’s the case. She’ll assume that the hat is hiding something. There are two options to reply with. This choice won’t heavily impact the story, so feel free to pick the option you prefer.

Tulip will say that she has an idea. She’ll ask you to meet her in the Great Hall. Go there when you are ready to continue.
Once you arrive, you will be able to interact with some of your classmates and see what they have to say. Tulip will tell you she’s been thinking about what the Sorting Hat said earlier.

She’ll say that she wants to take a look around and learn everything she can about the four houses. The choice you made while talking to the Headmaster will take effect here.

Tulip will wonder if she was placed in Ravenclaw because of her parents. Sadly, she won’t be willing to talk about them.

In any case, you will agree to help her study the other houses. Coming up with a plan is your next task. You need to earn five stars within three hours to complete it. All five stars are required to pass.

There are bonus progress actions tied to Barnaby and Tulip. Prioritizing those actions should save you some energy.

The plan is pretty straightforward. Tulip and you will talk to some of your friends and learn more about the other houses that way.

And if those friends could sneak you into their Common Rooms, it would be even better.

You’ll have no doubts your friends will be willing to help.

If your character is a Prefect or a Head Boy/Girl, you will get an additional line of dialogue.

The house to start with will be Slytherin. If your character is a Slytherin, you’ll get some extra lines of dialogue here.

You will suggest talking to Barnaby about Slytherin.

Tulip will agree with you.
