The Adult’s Guide to Dating Part 4

Introduction

Hello everyone, welcome to Part 4 of our Walkthrough for The Adult’s Guide to Dating Adventure of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. In the previous part, you were urgently called back to work because the cursed Toy Chimp from your first case had gone missing. Surprisingly, Flump was there to help you, and together you decided to start searching in the Research Lab hoping to find the cursed toy.

However, you found nothing there except for some sweets wrappers from the Break Room, possibly left by someone studying the cursed toy. You then moved to the Break Room and, with the help of Callum, began searching, finally finding the cursed toy. With that resolved, you could return to preparing for your date night.

Back at your apartment, you found Tonks had tidied up and set the table for your romantic dinner, but she delivered the unfortunate news that the cook at the Leaky Cauldron had fallen ill and your order wouldn’t be fulfilled. Tonks suggested you seek help from Madam Rosmerta at the Three Broomsticks to salvage your date night dinner plans.

Proceed to the Three Broomsticks when you are ready. Upon arriving, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you’re curious to see what they have to say. When you arrive there, you’ll notice that it’s still quite crowded, and you’ll approach Murphy, who will ask you what you’re doing here and mention that he was sure you’d have Valentine’s Day plans.

(The next lines of dialogue will differ depending on who you chose to be your date, but in any case, it does not affect the story).

Following that, you’ll ask him if he’s seen Madam Rosmerta, but he’ll say that the crowd is so thick that it’s nearly impossible to get her attention.

You’ll tell him you’re in a hurry and urgently need to find Madam Rosmerta, and he’ll notice your distress. He’ll suggest you tell him what’s going on so he might be able to help. To complete the next task, you need to earn five stars within three hours. All five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

Bonus progress actions are tied to Murphy and your character. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. Slide the screen left and right to check all available actions. 

After you explain the challenges you’ve faced in planning your date, Murphy will make a joke to lighten the mood.

Murphy will see that you’re not in the mood for jokes, and he’ll suggest a solution. He’ll mention that there’s one thing that can grab the attention of Quidditch fans and get Madam Rosmerta to notice you – Quidditch statistics. Then he’ll ask you what you think about his plan. There are two options to choose from. If you like Murphy, it is recommended to pick the first option.

Shortly after, Murphy will begin with his plan.

Thankfully, Murphy will manage to attract everyone’s attention, and finally, Madam Rosmerta will be free for a chat.

You’ll tell Madam Rosmerta that you were supposed to have your first Valentine’s Day date as an adult at your flat, but you don’t have anything for dinner. You’ll explain to her that you placed an order at the Leaky Cauldron, but their cook fell ill, so your order got canceled. This will be enough to convince Madam Rosmerta to help you.

Then she’ll ask you what you’d like to order. There are three different options to choose from. Your crush has already told you what she would most like to eat in previous dialogues, so it would be recommended to choose that.

You’ll thank Madam Rosmerta and then decide to go meet Jacob to update him on how your preparations for the date night are going.

Go to High Street to talk with Jacob. Upon arriving, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you’re curious to see what they have to say. Jacob will find it odd that you’ve called him there so soon before your date night.

You’ll tell him that it turns out your original dinner order at the Leaky Cauldron got canceled, but luckily Madam Rosmerta was there to save the day, so while waiting for your order to be ready, you thought to chat with him and thank him for the advice.

You’ll tell him that, thanks to his advice, you managed to sort things out with your date. He’ll then say that he’s happy if you’re happy, and ask you if you are. You’ll thank Jacob, but he’ll tell you that you’ve thanked him enough and that it’s time to go get your order and head to your long-awaited date.

Proceed to the Three Broomsticks when you are ready. Upon arriving, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you’re curious to see what they have to say. When you arrive there, you’ll see that Madam Rosmerta is still busy with guests.

She’ll tell you that she hasn’t forgotten about you and that your order is almost done. You’ll be glad to hear that, so you’ll ask her if there’s anything you can help her with while she finishes up your last-minute meal.

She’ll tell you that you can help her with waiting tables so that she can finish your meal as quickly as possible. To complete the next task, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. All five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

Madam Rosmerta will say that thanks to your excellent work with waiting tables, she’s got your order all packaged up and sent to your flat. You’ll thank Madam Rosmerta profusely for her help and add that it’s nice to see many couples on dates, and you can’t wait for yours.

Go to your Flat to meet your date for dinner. Your crush will finally arrive for your long-awaited date. (The next lines of dialogue will differ depending on who you chose to be your date, but in any case, it does not affect the story).

Your crush will comment that she wouldn’t miss your date for anything after all you’ve been through. Then she’ll ask you how you’re feeling about the date. There are three different options to choose from. These options will influence some dialogue that will follow, but they won’t impact the story.

You’ll say that you’re glad you managed to work everything out, despite everything that tried to stop your date tonight. You’ll also mention that you have something to show her before you start dinner. On the table, there will be your crush’s favorite dish as well as the desserts you bought at Honeydukes.

These lines will differ based on your previous choice. 

Shortly after, you’ll suggest starting the dinner and your unforgettable, long-awaited Valentine’s Day date. To complete the next task, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. All five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

You’ll notice that your date isn’t completely relaxed, and you’ll ask her if everything is okay, but she’ll assure you that everything is fine and that she just wanted to give you something.

You’ve received a very lovely bracelet from your soulmate.

Your date will say that she wanted to give you something to celebrate your first date at your flat. She’ll add that you’re no longer at Hogwarts, and she hopes this is just one of many Valentine’s Days you spend together. You’ll thank her and say it’s very sweet of her, and your soulmate will ask if she can kiss you. There are two options to choose from. If you like your date, it is recommended to pick the first option.

If you accept, you will witness very lovely scenes of a young couple in love.
