Proceed to Dumbledore’s Office when you are ready. When you arrive in Dumbledore’s office, he welcomes you with a calm but serious expression.

Thanks to your diligence and hard work, he says you’ve finally gathered enough information to identify the one responsible for the sabotage. But there’s something important you must understand — the saboteur is not a student.

He continues by explaining that the Student Club Challenge programme was not created solely to encourage students to participate in clubs. It had another hidden purpose. The challenges were also designed to test a theory.

At first, the theory seemed far too unlikely to accept. But the clues you uncovered during each of the club events convinced him that it might be true after all.

You will learn that there was actually a fourth student club at Hogwarts — the Imp Club, which specialized in Arithmancy, the Study of Ancient Runes, Gobstones, and Frog Choir.

Sadly, the Imp Club was never as popular as the others, and competition among the clubs was always fierce. After a particularly ruthless Gobstones tournament, the club’s founder, Alphonso Frederique Ringbloom, left Hogwarts and was never seen again, causing the entire Imp Club to be shut down.

Dumbledore reveals that he suspects Alphonso Frederique Ringbloom, the founder of the Imp Club, was a spiteful and vengeful character. According to school records, he was incredibly clever, highly talented, and utterly unforgiving.

Then, Dumbledore will shock you with the revelation that the mastermind behind the sabotage is not a person but a magical painting — the lost portrait of Alphonso Frederique Ringbloom. He will acknowledge that it’s hard to believe, but all the evidence points to this being the most likely explanation.

There are three different options to choose from. All of them will eventually lead to the same outcome, so feel free to take your pick.

Dumbledore will also reveal to you that shortly after the student clubs were created, the four club founders had magical portraits made. He spoke with them some time ago while visiting an art collector friend.

Their competitive natures drove the club founders apart. However, their magical portraits eventually found a way to reconcile. Now they want to reunite with their lost fourth, the portrait of Alphonso Frederique Ringbloom!

Dumbledore is trying to explain that Mr. Ringbloom, the founder of the Imp Club, was not the type of person who liked to let others take the glory or credit. His portrait reflected this – he didn’t want to celebrate others but instead wanted to be at the center of attention and be the one leading.

The portraits of the other club founders knew that celebrating the other clubs would provoke a reaction from Ringbloom, meaning he would start acting because he couldn’t stand the idea of other clubs getting recognition without him.

Dumbledore also explains that Mr. Ringbloom was interested in encouraging new members in the clubs, seeing the portraits of the other founders as inspiration.

However, as the challenges progressed, Dumbledore realized that the portraits were speaking the truth about the events unfolding, and that Ringbloom wasn’t just motivated by encouraging club membership but had his own agenda.

Following this, Dumbledore will reveal a significant detail: there was a place where the Tournament of Gobstones was held—the Trophy Room. He believes the lost portrait may be there. With this new piece of information, you will decide to head there immediately, eager to find the missing portrait and uncover the full story behind these mysterious events.

When you enter the room, you will notice it filled with trophies and medals, reflecting the competitive nature of the past tournaments. As you and Dumbledore continue discussing the room, an unfamiliar voice will suddenly be heard nearby. This voice will introduce itself as The Voice of Hogwarts, saying, “Follow my advice, and you will be remembered forever.”

Dumbledore and you will conclude that The Voice of Hogwarts uses its voice and promises to attract students who come to view the trophies, luring them into its traps. It offers them something in return, but only after they’ve fallen into its web. Moments later, the voice will recognize Dumbledore’s and tauntingly add, “You’ll never find me.”

Of course, you won’t give up. Together with Professor Dumbledore, you will begin searching through the room filled with shimmering trophies, determined to uncover the source of the mysterious voice and stop its manipulation.

To find the portrait, you need to earn five stars within three hours. Three stars are required to pass.

You will discover a portrait wrapped in a shimmering trophy near the fireplace. After carefully handing it over to Professor Dumbledore, he will unroll it. Once it’s revealed, he will hang it on the wall, allowing you to finally speak with the portrait and confront The Voice of Hogwarts directly.

You will soon realize that Professor Dumbledore was right all along. The portrait you have uncovered is that of Alphonso Frederique Ringbloom. Upon seeing you, the portrait will recognize you, commenting that many students have been speaking your name recently. However, Dumbledore will caution you not to listen to the portrait, warning you that it is a highly skilled manipulator.

The Voice of Hogwarts will then explain that it listens to lonely students, and in return, they write its letters. When you ask why it sabotaged the Club Challenge program, the portrait will dismiss the act as not being a problem, claiming that it simply wanted to test the students and their clubs.

You’ll argue that someone could have been hurt due to these actions, but the Voice will reply that today’s students are overly sensitive. It will insist that it never meant any harm and that its schemes were merely intended to humiliate the student clubs. During this interaction, you will also recall many lines from previous Club Challenge adventures that tie into the portrait’s manipulative tactics.

Ringbloom will be certain that you’re impressed by his schemes. There are three different options to choose from. These options will influence some dialogue that will follow, but they won’t impact the story.

When you ask him how his portrait ended up in the Trophy Room, Ringbloom will explain that shortly before leaving Hogwarts, the other Ringbloom hid him there. This was a special place to him, as he was forced to polish silver during many detentions. He was told not to let the other student clubs get too proud of themselves.

That was the last time he ever saw him. After hearing this, you’ll express your intention to return him to the other portraits.
