The Legendary Snitch of Hogsmeade Adventure

Hello everyone, welcome to our Walkthrough for The Legendary Snitch of Hogsmeade Adventure of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. This adventure should become available after completing Chapter 8 of Season 3 of Quidditch, and it will act as Chapter 9 of Season 3. During it, you and your teammates will be visited by your former Keeper, who will tell you about the Legendary Golden Snitch of Hogsmeade. According to the legend, the team that catches the Snitch will win the Quidditch Cup.

Can you and your teammates find and catch this legendary Snitch? There is only one way to find out! Once you start this adventure, you will have a little less than two days to complete it, which should be plenty of time under normal circumstances. Our walkthrough will aim to help you optimize your energy usage, and all of the important choices will be highlighted in the walkthrough.

Shortly after you start the adventure, Skye will ask you to meet with her at the Three Broomsticks, so proceed there when you are ready. Upon arriving, you will notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you are curious to see what they have to say. You will greet Skye and ask how she is feeling after the house match. This line will differ based on the outcome of the match.

If you’ve won the match, Skye will say that you deserve credit for leading the team to victory. There are two options to reply with. Since everything was ultimately a team effort, it is recommended to go with the second option and credit the team. If your team lost the match, Skye will be upset. There will be two options to respond to her. It is recommended to reassure her and keep things positive.

In any case, you will say that the team should recover from the match and spend some time together. Skye will inform you about a special visitor, and you will turn around and notice your team’s former Keeper. You’ll wonder how he got away from the Wigtown Wanderers.

Skye will also be curious about it.

He’ll say that he is still their reserve Keeper.

You’ll wonder why he left Wigtown, and he’ll say that he wanted to watch your match. The following lines will be different based on the outcome of the match and your previous choice.

The Keeper will find it odd that Orion wasn’t playing, and you’ll tell him that Orion hasn’t been able to play for a while. Skye will explain that Orion lost his spark, which changed him, and you’ll add that he was still helping the team by setting them on a path to find balance.

The Keeper will say that it does sound like Orion, and this will give him an interesting idea to help the team.

Skye will be curious about his idea, and you will suggest that he tell you about it over some Butterbeer. Hearing the Keeper’s idea requires earning five stars within three hours. Three stars are needed to pass.

The only bonus progress action here is tied to your team’s former Keeper. Focus on his actions if you want to save a bit of energy.

As it seems, the Keeper wants you to look for the legendary Snitch of Hogsmeade, which escaped from the 1927 Quidditch Cup match and fled to Hogsmeade. Ever since then, no one has been able to find it. The Keeper will suggest that the team that manages to catch the legendary Snitch will win the Quidditch Cup.

Skye will be unsure if looking for the Snitch is a good idea.

Still, there is always a possibility of the legend being real. Your former Keeper will advise you to find the Snitch, acknowledging that it won’t be an easy task. However, you and your teammates managed to achieve balance, so you definitely have what it takes to find the legendary Snitch.

The Keeper will reveal that he actually saw the legendary Snitch, flying into Zonko’s shortly after he arrived in Hogsmeade. This revelation will surprise you. Your team’s Seeker will realize that you’ve been talking about the legendary Golden Snitch and express eagerness to catch it.

Skye will try to explain that the Snitch is only a myth, but the Seeker will not agree with her on that. Instead, she will turn to you and suggest looking for the Snitch. You’ll say that it would be a good opportunity to build some teamwork, and then you’ll ask Skye if she’s up for it. In the end, she will agree to look for the legendary Golden Snitch. The following line will differ based on the outcome of the previous match.

The Keeper will wish you good luck.

You’ll be surprised to hear that he won’t be joining you. He will explain that finding the Snitch should be a quest for the current team. Shortly after, you and your teammates will leave the Three Broomsticks.

Head to Zonko’s Joke Shop when you are ready to continue. Once you arrive, you will be able to interact with some of your teammates and see what they have to say. Bilton will be surprised to see your entire Quidditch team in his shop.

You’ll say that you’re looking for the legendary Golden Snitch of Hogsmeade. Bilton will find it hard to believe that the Snitch is in his shop. However, he will allow you and your teammates to look around freely. Skye will hope that you’ll be able to find the Snitch. After all, the team could be practicing, instead of looking for stuff of legends.

You will tell her that the team is already practicing by working together. Shortly after, you will start searching for the place. Searching for the Snitch requires earning five stars within eight hours. All five stars are needed to pass.

Be sure to slide the screen left and right to see all the available actions. There is a bonus progress action tied to your team’s Seeker, so focus on her actions if you want to save some energy.

After looking around for a while, you will spot the Golden Snitch flying around.

You’ll suggest catching it before it starts wreaking havoc, but Skye will wonder how you’re planning to catch it without a broom; moments later, the Snitch will fly out of Zonko’s.

Skye won’t be too happy about it, but you’ll smile and tell her to take a look at the team, all of them looking very cheerful.

Without a doubt, it was definitely a fun experience. The following line will differ, based on the outcome of the previous match.

Skye will admit that it was fun looking for the Snitch, and you’ll say that it will be even more fun actually finding it. You’ll suggest continuing the search, and Skye will ask if you care more about finding the Snitch or bringing the team together. While this choice won’t have any big impact on the story, it is recommended to pick the second option.

Both you and Skye will realize that the Snitch won’t be easy to find, and she will say that even a team full of Seekers won’t be able to find the runaway Snitch. Luckily enough, you don’t have a team full of Seekers, so you should be able to use everyone’s strengths to your advantage.

Still, you’ll need to decide how to utilize everyone’s strengths in order to find the legendary Snitch. You’ll suggest heading to the Quidditch pitch to figure it out.

You will need to wait one hour until you can continue. Since you will probably be low on energy at this point, it is recommended to wait and let your energy recharge in the meantime.

Proceed to the Quidditch pitch once the waiting time is over. When you arrive, you will spot the speech bubbles above some of your teammates. Tap on them if you want to see what they have to say. Now that everyone’s on the pitch, you can properly prepare to find the legendary Golden Snitch.

This line will differ based on your previous choice.

You’ll say that you can start by figuring out everyone’s strengths and how to use them, and Skye will ask how you’re planning to do that. You’ll suggest that everyone get on their brooms, as that should help remind them what they’re best at.

Discovering strengths requires earning five stars within three hours. Since all five stars are needed to pass, you should avoid starting this task if you are low on energy.

Be sure to slide the screen left and right to see all the available actions. There are bonus progress actions tied to Skye and your character. Prioritize those if you want to save some energy.

You’ll notice that everyone’s confident in their strengths, and you and Skye will be confident that the team has what it takes to find and catch the Snitch. You will say that each Quidditch position is going to be crucial to catching the Snitch, and according to Skye, the Chasers will play the most important role.

You can choose whether you want to agree with her or not. This choice won’t have a significant impact on the story, so feel free to pick the option you prefer.

Skye will say that your leadership is going to be an instrumental part of the whole plan, and you will need to come up with a strategy to best utilize everyone’s strengths. You’ll suggest gathering the team to discuss the plan, and Skye will quickly get everyone’s attention.

You’ll tell them that you need a plan to fully utilize their strengths, and Skye will say that you have a strategy that can help with that. You’ll explain what you want each of them to do. These lines will differ slightly based on your previous choice.

Shortly after, the team will start practicing. You’ll need to finish a friendly before you can continue. For this one, you will need to play Keeper. The task window will display all the relevant information, so hit Start when you are ready to begin.

As always, try your best to complete all the maneuvers to earn rewards.

Once you’re done, you’ll learn that the Snitch has been spotted at the Training Grounds, so go there when you’re ready. Upon arriving, you will notice the speech bubbles above some of your teammates. Tap on those if you are curious to see what they have to say. You will spot the Golden Snitch flying around.

Skye will find it odd that the Snitch is at the Training Grounds, but you’ll decide not to dwell on it. Instead, you’ll suggest catching the Snitch as soon as possible. Before getting on your brooms, you and Skye will go over the strategy one more time.

Catching the Snitch requires earning five stars within eight hours. All five stars are needed to pass.

The only bonus progress action here is tied to your team’s Seeker. Prioritize her actions if you want to save a bit of energy.

Your team’s Seeker will try her best to catch the Snitch. She will almost end up catching it, but sadly, she’ll lose balance and nearly fall off her broom.

Skye won’t be happy to see that.

You’ll decide to act quickly.

You will immediately start flying towards the Golden Snitch, and luckily enough, you will manage to catch it.

You will notice a huge smile on Skye’s face as she expresses surprise that you managed to catch the Snitch.

You’ll remind her that it was a team effort and note that you noticed she was nervous earlier. Skye will admit that she didn’t want any other team catching the Snitch and then ask if you were nervous. There are two options to reply with. This choice won’t significantly impact the story, so feel free to pick either option.

You’ll suggest looking for your team’s former Keeper and celebrating catching the Legendary Snitch of Hogsmeade.

You will need to wait three hours until you can continue. You will most likely be low on energy at this point, which is why it’s recommended to wait and let your energy recharge in the meantime.

Proceed to the Three Broomsticks once the waiting time is over. When you arrive, you will be able to chat with some of the characters and see what they have to say. You will find it hard to believe that you caught the legendary Golden Snitch.

Skye will confidently say that she never doubted the team, and you’ll smile and remind her that not too long ago, she didn’t believe that the Snitch was real. She will admit that she did have some doubts about it, but she never doubted her teammates. The following line will differ, based on the outcome of the previous house match.

Shortly after, your team’s former Keeper will arrive, surprised to see you celebrating. You’ll happily tell him that the team managed to catch the legendary escaped Snitch. The Keeper will be shocked to hear that and simply say that it is impossible. You’ll be slightly confused by his words, so you will ask him to explain what he means by that.

Talking to Keeper requires earning five stars within three hours. Since all five stars are needed to pass, it is not recommended to start this task if your energy bar is empty.

There is a bonus progress action tied to your team’s former Keeper, so focus on his actions if you want to save some energy.

You will learn that the Snitch you caught was just an ordinary Snitch that was released by Keeper.

Skye won’t be happy about it, to say the least.

However, the Keeper will tell you that he caught his Snitch shortly after it flew out of Zonko’s.

In other words, the Golden Snitch you caught was none other than the Legendary Snitch of Hogsmeade.

The Keeper will wonder what the Snitch was doing at the Training Grounds. Skye will assume that it was finding a worthy team. She’ll make it clear that she wasn’t happy with the stunt he pulled.

He’ll admit that he hasn’t felt like he’s part of the team with Wigtown Wanderers. That was one of the reasons why he wanted to help his former team.

He will then apologize and ask if you are upset. There are two options to reply with. Since he ultimately helped the team, it is recommended to pick the first option and thank him.

Skye will be happy that things turned out well in the end, and she’ll also compliment you on your leadership of the team. You’ll thank her for her kind words and consider her suggestion about your potential as a Seeker before proposing that you all continue celebrating.

After all, catching the legendary Snitch is certainly a good cause for celebration. Your former Keeper will agree and say that he has something for you: he’ll give you his custom-made Keeper Gear.

You will thank him for the gift.

Shortly after, you will continue celebrating with your teammates.

This will conclude the Legendary Snitch of Hogsmeade Adventure. Hit the Collect button to claim your rewards. You will receive 300 Coins, 5 Gems, and 50 Dragon Experience Points.

Once you complete the adventure, you will receive the task to use your Keeper Gear at a Friendly.

From now on, you will be able to use the Keeper Gear while playing Quidditch matches.

As soon as you finish one Quidditch Friendly, this task will be completed. You will receive 300 Coins.

You will also earn the achievement for completing the adventure.

What an adventure! You managed to find the Legendary Golden Snitch of Hogsmeade! And the Keeper Gear you got will surely be useful in the future. But most importantly, the bond between you and your teammates is as strong as ever.
