Hagrid and Professor Dumbledore have tasked you with an urgent mission—there’s a Swooping Evil on the loose within the halls of Hogwarts Castle! This rare and highly dangerous creature has the ability to wipe memories clean and, alarmingly, it feeds on human brains. You’ll need to be quick, clever, and cautious as you navigate through the castle’s secret passages to locate and capture the beast before it causes any harm. Keep your wand ready, as this creature’s vicious swoops can catch anyone off guard! Complete this daring adventure to unlock a Swooping Evil-themed chair for your room and show off your bravery!

Proceed to Dumbledore’s Office when you are ready. When you arrive, Dumbledore will thank you for coming, adding that he understands you recently adopted a creature known as the Swooping Evil in the Magical Creature Reserve. He will then ask how much you know about these creatures. There are two different options to choose from. Both of them will eventually lead to the same outcome, so feel free to take your pick.

He will then explain that last night, a Swooping Evil was released in Hogwarts Castle and that it could cause a lot of trouble. 

You will then offer your help, stating that you plan to locate the Swooping Evil in Hogwarts and retrieve it before anything bad happens. Dumbledore will respond, saying that while his highest priority is the safety of the students, he is also concerned for the safety of the creature as well.

He will then warn you to be cautious and mention that there are a few more details he would like to discuss with you before you proceed. To get mission details, you need to earn five stars within one hour. All five stars are required to pass. 

Unfortunately, there are no bonus progress actions. Professor Dumbledore will then explain that the Swooping Evil you’re looking for can shrink into a small cocoon, making it difficult to spot. Additionally, it’s not used to being around humans, so it’s likely frightened and stressed. He’ll add that locating the Swooping Evil in a castle of this size will be no easy task, and retrieving it safely will be even more challenging.

He will then suggest that you start by studying the Swooping Evil and soon meet with Hagrid, who will assist you with this task. 

Go to the Open Ocean to study Swooping Evil. When you arrive, Hagrid will comment that you’re just the sort of person they need for this mission, adding that you must find the creature as soon as possible to prevent anything bad from happening. 

Following that, you’ll begin studying your Swooping Evil to better understand its behavior and how to safely retrieve it. To study the creature, you need to earn five stars within one hour.  Three stars are required to pass

Bonus progress actions are tied to Hagrid and your character. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. Slide the screen left and right to check all available actions. 

You’ll notice that your creature prefers elevated areas with shadowy corners. Upon further reflection, you’ll mention that there’s such a place in Hogwarts: the Library. However, Hagrid will caution you that you can’t do this alone and that you’ll need assistance. 

You’ll wonder whom to ask for help, and he’ll suggest that it depends on what you’re looking for, specifically which qualities you consider most important for a mission like this. There are three different options to choose from. All of them will eventually lead to the same outcome, so feel free to take your pick.

In any case, Barnaby will be the one you decide to ask for help.

Proceed to the Library when you are ready. Upon arriving, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you’re curious to see what they have to say. You will thank Barnaby for agreeing to come and help you.

You will tell him that you appreciate it and remind him to stay calm and act quietly to avoid disturbing the other students.

To search the Library, you need to earn five stars within three hours. All five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

The bonus progress actions are tied to the bookshelf. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. Slide the screen left and right to check all available actions. 

After a while, you will see the Swooping Evil curled up on a shelf in the library.

However, one student will want to take a book, startling the creature, causing it to fly away, and preventing you from catching it.

Barnaby will say that this shouldn’t have happened and ask you what you think you should do next. It’s recommended that you pick the second option. If you choose the first option, you will hit Madam Pince with Petrificus Totalum, which of course is not good.

In any case, you decide to return to Hagrid to find out how you can best calm the Swooping Evil and prevent any further unwanted situations.

This will mark the end of Part 1 of Where Evil Swoops Adventure. Hit the Collect button to claim your reward. You will receive 200 Coins and 20 Creature’s food.

As you wrap up this part of your adventure, it’s clear that finding and calming the Swooping Evil is no easy task.
