Where to Find Thestral

Hello everyone. Here is a guide on where to find Thestrals. These magical creatures can be rescued in the game and added to your vivariums. By feeding and brushing them, you will receive Thestral Hair, which is used to improve your equipment.

Thestrals can be quite difficult to catch. Luckily, there are some things you can do to make this process easier. First, you should use the Disillusionment Spell to approach the Thestral unnoticed. Then, you should cast Levioso and follow up with Arresto Momentum immediately.

As soon as you do that, use your Nab-Sack on the creature. You’ll be prompted to press the button 5 times, but as long as you used both spells in quick succession, you’ll have enough time before the Thestral can get away.

Here are the places where you can find and rescue Thestrals.

Thestral Den north of East North Ford Bog. You can find this den by traveling to East North Ford Bog Floo Flames and then going north.

Thestral Den southeast of Coastal Mine. To get to this den, you should travel to Coastal Mine Floo Flames and then go southeast.

These are the locations of Thestrals in the game. It is also worth noting that players who own the deluxe version of the game can add the Thestral Mount to their vivariums. This mount will become available after completing “The High Keep” Side Quest.
