Wild at Heart Part 3

Introduction

Hello everyone, welcome to our Walkthrough section for Wild at Heart Part 3 of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. In the previous part, you and your date, embarked on a mission to help an Augurey find a mate, navigating the bird’s awkward behavior and seeking advice from experts. After learning about the importance of courtship rituals, you decided to teach the Augurey a special dance to attract a partner.

To accomplish this, you knew you would need the help of Professor McGonagall. Now, as you prepare to meet her and learn the dance, you find yourselves on the brink of discovering even more about the mysterious world of magical creatures – and perhaps even about each other. Part 3 will take you deeper into the mystery and bring new challenges your way.

We chose Merula as our date, so there will be slight variations in dialogue, but they won’t affect the story. So don’t worry, enjoy, and happy Valentine’s Day!

Proceed to the Transfiguration Classroom when you are ready. When you arrive, Professor McGonagall will initially think that you’ve come to choose a flower color for the Great Hall. However, you will quickly explain that you’ve come with a different purpose in mind. You’ll share the situation regarding the Augurey and its struggles with courtship. 

This will pique her interest, and she’ll be intrigued by your efforts to help the bird find a mate. Her curiosity will grow as she listens to your plan, and she’ll be eager to assist you.

To learn about the dance, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. All five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

The bonus progress actions are tied to the flowers. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. 

Professor McGonagall will then explain that the important part of a proper courtship dance is self-confidence. She’ll add that you must also communicate rhythm, chemistry, and style during the dance. 

She’ll caution you to be careful that your confidence doesn’t come across as arrogance, as that could hinder the success of the dance. Lastly, she’ll emphasize that if you’re designing a dance for an Augurey, you’ll need to ensure that it helps the bird put its most confident foot forward, reflecting its natural charm. These lines will differ depending on whether you have met Diego Caplan or not.

Professor McGonagall will remind you that before you leave, you need to choose a flower color for decorating the Great Hall. Choose the colors you like the most.

Then, you will immediately set off to find Diego. Go to the Duelling Room to continue the story. When you arrive, you’ll see that Diego is really enjoying his glamorous solo performance.

When he finishes dancing, he will ask you how his dance looks. There are three options to choose from. If you like Diego, it is recommended to pick the first option.

You will notice that Diego is very confident in himself, and you will explain to him that your date and you are looking to design a proper courtship dance for an Augurey to find a partner. You will ask him if he has any advice, adding that you know it must walk a fine line between arrogance and confidence.

To learn from Diego, you need to earn five stars within three hours. All five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

Bonus progress actions are tied to Diego and your character. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. 

Following that, Diego will want to hear your opinion on the fact that being confident is the most important part of courtship. There are two different options to choose from. These options will influence some dialogue that will follow, but they won’t impact the story.

Then, Diego will suddenly tell you to follow him, and you won’t be quite sure where you’re going. However, he will explain that he wants to show you what it means to be confident in courtship with a quick demonstration.

Proceed to the Training Grounds when you are ready. Upon arriving, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you’re curious to see what they have to say.

There, you will see Tonks practicing. It turns out that Diego wants to ask her to dance, and he will ask for your opinion on whether Tonks will accept his invitation. There are two options to choose from. If you like Diego, it is recommended to pick the first option.

Shortly after, Diego will ask you to analyze his approach to Tonks in order to understand everything about arrogance versus confidence. To observe Diego, you need to earn five stars within three hours. All five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

The bonus progress actions are tied to Diego. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. 

It turns out that Tonks will politely decline Diego’s invitation to the Valentine’s dance, but she will agree to dance with him. This won’t upset Diego at all, as if he had expected it. He will then return to you and explain what he wanted to show you.

You will understand that confidence is all about putting your best foot forward and hoping for the best, not letting your setbacks define who you are or what you do next. You’ll add that this lesson is an important part of designing your own dance. Following that, you will decide to meet with your date to discuss how to create your own courtship dance.

Go to the Clocktower Courtyard to develop the dance. Upon arriving, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you’re curious to see what they have to say. When you arrive, you’ll notice that all your friends are there, and they’ll ask where everyone came from. Charlie will tell you that word has gotten around that you’re designing your own courtship dance for the Augurey to find a partner.

Since everyone is there and eager to help, you’ll suggest that you all brainstorm together on how Augurey’s courtship dance should look.

To develop the dance, you need to earn five stars within three hours. All five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

The bonus progress actions are tied to Merula. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. Slide the screen left and right to check all available actions. 

In the end, you’ll come up with a series of moves that would likely work and should help the Augurey. Following that, you’ll suggest to your date that they try the new dance you’ve created.

Charlie will ask you what you think about the dance. There are three different options to choose from. These options will influence some dialogue that will follow, but they won’t impact the story.

Now it’s time to teach the dance and find a partner for the Augurey. You’ll reach out to your date, but they’ll tell you that the gift they were preparing for you isn’t finished yet, so you’ll have to handle this part on your own.
