Proceed to the Clocktower Courtyard when you are ready. Upon arriving, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you’re curious to see what they have to say. When you arrive, you’ll greet Tonks and mention that she wrote in her owl letter that she wanted to show you something. She’ll confirm it, but add that she wanted to wait until there were no professors around—just to avoid getting into trouble.
There are two different options to choose from. Both of them will eventually lead to the same outcome, so feel free to take your pick.

However, near the fountain, you’ll notice something surprising — it’s Professor Dumbledore’s phoenix, Fawkes. You’ll get additional lines of dialogue if you’ve completed Dumbledore’s Christmas Wish adventure.

You’ll then comment that it’s actually quite amazing to have such a rare magical creature right here at your school, and that busy students at Hogwarts might forget just how special a creature like Fawkes truly is, which means he’s long overdue for a proper celebration.

She’ll add that she bought it from Jae Kim, who just received a whole supply from Diagon Alley — though Mr Filch confiscated most of it. That’ll give you an idea: perhaps there’s something you can do to properly celebrate Fawkes and give him the recognition he deserves.
To brainstorm a celebration, you need to earn five stars within three hours. Three stars are required to pass.

Bonus progress actions are tied to Tonks and Fawkes. Prioritize these actions to save some energy.

Together, you’ll agree that the best way to honour Fawkes would be to create a full day of events — a holiday of sorts — dedicated just to him. If only you knew when his next Burning Day would be… That’s the phoenix equivalent of a birthday, when they erupt in flames and are reborn from the ashes. It’s a powerful reminder that phoenixes, in a way, live forever. That makes it even more meaningful to celebrate Fawkes and all the miraculous things phoenixes are capable of.
Though you may not know the exact date of Fawkes’s next Burning Day, your celebration can still capture the spirit of that fiery rebirth. It’s a perfect chance to honour him — and to end your holiday with a spectacular fireworks display as a surprise for everyone.
Following this, you’ll be asked to decide on the name for your special celebration. Choose the name that resonates with you the most.

But before you begin making any preparations, it’s only right that you ask Professor Dumbledore for permission to hold the celebration. After all, Fawkes is his phoenix, and a school-wide event requires approval from the Headmaster himself.

Go to Dumbledore’s Office to convince the headmaster. You will tell Dumbledore that you and Tonks have an idea — you want to hold an informal celebration at Hogwarts dedicated to honoring Fawkes.
This line will differ based on your previous choice.

You will also add that your celebration will conclude with a spectacular fireworks display. Dumbledore will like your idea and say that his beloved phoenix might appreciate receiving the respect he deserves. However, before he considers agreeing to your proposal, he will need to know how it meets three key requirements.
First, your holiday must have educational value. Second, the event should include student participation. Finally, your celebration must ensure the safety of the Hogwarts students, especially with fireworks involved. He will then suggest discussing these points before making his decision.
To convince the headmaster, you need to earn five stars within one hour. Three stars are required to pass.

You’ll come up with a plan to meet Professor Dumbledore’s conditions: to add educational value, you’ll suggest holding a special lesson about phoenixes. For student participation, you’ll propose a Fawkes-themed art contest where anyone interested can submit artworks inspired by Fawkes, with the winner announced right before the fireworks show.
For safety, you plan to leave the fireworks preparations to the Hogwarts staff and hold the display by the shore of the Black Lake, with students watching from a safe distance. This way, if anything goes wrong, everyone will be far from the castle or the forest.
Professor Dumbledore will gladly accept your plan, but then he’ll ask a tricky question, wanting to know if you have any information about the explosion in the courtyard last night. It’s best to be honest and tell the truth.

Dumbledore will say that you have met his requirement, but his approval alone isn’t enough—you also need Fawkes’s approval. At that moment, Fawkes will loudly squawk. You’ll mention that Fawkes has squawked like that before, and Tonks thinks it means he approves. Then Dumbledore will ask if you agree with Tonks.
There are two different options to choose from. Both options will influence some dialogue that will follow, but they won’t impact the story.

After a brief conversation, Dumbledore will decide to grant you permission to hold the event. You will then decide to go meet Professor Kettleburn and help him prepare a special lesson on phoenixes.
Proceed to the Care of Magical Creatures when you are ready. Upon arriving, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you’re curious to see what they have to say.
When you arrive, you’ll find many students gathered, along with Professor Dumbledore and Fawkes. Professor Kettleburn will warmly welcome everyone to the lesson about phoenixes. If you haven’t met him before, additional dialogue will introduce his character.
He’ll mention that Dumbledore informed him about your plan to celebrate Fawkes and that you promised to prepare an educational speech on phoenixes to present before the fireworks finale. He will then caution you to pay close attention, as he plans to quiz you afterward.
To learn Phoenix facts, you need to earn five stars within three hours. The five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

This lesson will prove useful, as you’ve learned all sorts of interesting things about phoenixes that you can use in your speech. Then, Professor Kettleburn will ask you a question: If you’re bitten by a Basilisk, what would you want a phoenix to do to save your life? The correct answer is “Cry on you”.

You’ll thank Professor Kettleburn for the lesson, and he’ll say he hopes you carry that knowledge with you as you continue the celebration. You’ll agree, and he’ll then advise you to check how the fireworks display preparations are going. He’ll mention that he saw a few students heading toward the lakeshore earlier… carrying what looked like a big box of explosives.
Given that Dumbledore reminded you that student safety is the highest priority, you’ll decide you better go check it out right away.

Proceed to the Lakeshore when you are ready. There, you’ll find Tonks and Jae. If you haven’t met Jae before, you’ll get a few extra lines of dialogue for introductions. In any case, you’ll see that the two of them have brought a large box of fireworks.
Jae will mention that most of them were his until Mr. Filch confiscated the rest. However, something will seem off to you — if safety is supposed to be a top priority and you’ve arranged everything with Dumbledore, then why isn’t Mr. Filch supervising things? His absence feels unusual, especially considering the precautions you were meant to follow.

Tonks will suggest that Mr. Filch probably thinks your celebration of Fawkes is a complete waste of time — and that he’s hoping it fails. That leads her to a theory: maybe Mr. Filch intentionally left them alone with the fireworks, hoping something would go wrong.
Jae will then turn to you and ask what you think. Does her theory sound possible, or are you not convinced that Filch would go that far just to sabotage your plans? There are two different options to choose from. Both options will influence some dialogue that will follow, but they won’t impact the story.

You’ll respond that no matter what, you all need to be extra careful — you don’t want a repeat of what happened the night before, when Tonks accidentally set off one of Dr Filibuster’s Fabulous Wet-Start No-Heat Fireworks.
But the moment you bring it up, Tonks will — once again, in her usual clumsy fashion — accidentally trigger another firework, sending sparks flying and everyone ducking for cover.

To protect your friends, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. Three stars are required to pass.

The bonus progress actions are tied to Tonks. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. Slide the screen left and right to check all available actions.

You’ll manage to prevent anything bad from happening, and the fireworks stop just in time. But of course, that’s when Filch appears. He’ll immediately start grumbling that the entire event was a terrible idea and claims he knew something would go wrong. Without waiting for an explanation, he’ll storm off to report everything.
Tonks will say she’ll go with Filch to explain what happened. She’ll tell you to stick to the plan and not to worry about her, adding that the worst thing that could happen is that she gets expelled.
