A Mysterious Hallowe’en Party Part 4
Introduction
Hello everyone, welcome to Part 4 of our Walkthrough for A Mysterious Hallowe’en Party Adventure of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. In the previous part, Penny suddenly appeared by knocking on your door. Of course, you were happy to see her but you were still shocked because you weren’t expecting it.
During your conversation with Penny, she revealed that just before the lights went out at your Halloween party, she received a letter from a white owl. The letter claimed she was a murder victim and instructed her to apparate somewhere else when the lights went out, effectively disappearing. The note also mentioned that she should burn the letter.
Penny explained that she received a new message telling her that the party was over and it was time to reveal herself, which is why she came to you. When you examined the handwriting on the note, you noticed it matched the writing from the previous note you found. You also determined that the handwriting did not belong to Corey, suggesting that someone else had tricked Penny. You will make every effort to find out what really happened and who is behind this mystery.

Go to the Former Student Centre to continue the story. Upon arriving, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you’re curious to see what they have to say. When you arrive you will thank your friends for gathering.
You’ll mention that you’d like to take a moment to present all the evidence you’ve collected and hear what they think about it. To complete the next task, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. All five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start this task with a full energy bar.
The only bonus progress actions are tied to your character. Prioritize this action to save some energy. Slide the screen left and right to check all available actions.
Afterward, you’ll review the events that occurred. You’ll tell them that before the party, Penny received a message from an owl, saying she was the murder victim. Penny will add that the message told her to apparate somewhere else when the lights went out.
Then you’ll point out that Victor showed up when the lights went out, and he’ll say he was delayed because of blood-flavored lollipops. He’ll also mention that the red smudge on his face was from a melted blood-flavored lollipop.
She’ll clarify that she didn’t fumble the wand but accidentally dropped it. Additionally, she’ll mention that she was attempting to cast Lumos when she felt a sudden rush of air from Penny’s Apparition.
You’ll say that when the lights came back on, Penny was gone and you’ll also point out that none of the handwriting on the burnt note matched.
You’ll thank Corey and let her know that your investigation is ongoing. You’ll explain that you have three people you’re considering as main suspects and the first one is Victor. You’ll remind Victor that he said he went to Honeydukes to buy blood-flavored lollipops. He’ll confirm this, and you’ll point out to him that those lollipops can’t melt in his pocket. Then, you’ll ask him to show you the lollipops.
You’ll say that the part of his story where someone bumped into him doesn’t make sense. When you talk about Apparating, you’ll mention that he couldn’t be late because he can apparate instantly.
Next, you’ll mention that the second person you’re considering is Merula. You’ll recall that before you arrived, she was having an argument with Corey.
You’ll agree with her, but you’ll say that her complicated relationship with Corey might be a reason to spoil her plans. You’ll also remind her that she mentioned having her wand out to cast Lumos and you’ll point out that this detail is suspicious because she’s capable of using magic without a wand.
Next, you’ll turn your attention to the last suspect, Penny. You’ll mention that no one else’s handwriting matches the notes, and you only have her claim that she received them through an owl. You’ll note that there’s no concrete evidence showing she didn’t write those notes herself and that she might have orchestrated this entire situation as an elaborate trick.
You’ll note that Corey when under the effect of Veritaserum, revealed that Penny had seen an early draft of her script.
Corey will commend your deductive skills and mention that your reasoning is exceptional. She’ll playfully suggest that you only need a trench coat and a hat to resemble those detectives from noir films.
You’ll express that it’s time to discover who’s really responsible for the Halloween trick. Corey will then ask for your thoughts on who the main culprit could be. There are three different options to choose from. All of them will eventually lead to the same outcome, so feel free to take your pick.
Shortly after, you’ll say that still, something is not adding up.
After that, you’ll hear a mysterious laugh, and once again, you’ll find a note on the floor.
You’ll realize that the writing on this note looks just like the writing on the other notes.
This will mark the end of Part 4 of the A Mysterious Hallowe’en Party Adventure. Hit the Collect button to claim your reward. You will receive 2 Gems and 2 Chocolate Frogs. You’ll earn the achievement for completing the adventure.
Detective Outfit will be added to your wardrobe.
You will also unlock Victor for hangouts at Three Broomsticks.
You have reached the end of this mysterious Halloween adventure. Although you did not find out who is behind this mystery, you still proved that you should always be there for your friends, and you also had fun and celebrated this spooky holiday. Stay tuned for more adventures like this.
