Hello everyone, welcome to our Walkthrough section for  A Secret Message of Love Part 4 of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. In the previous part, you prepared for the big celebration to help the enchanted Japanese maple grow by gathering friends, planning food and decorations, and inviting special guests to share their heartfelt stories. Now, as the party begins and emotions run high, the true power of love and friendship will be put to the test. Get ready to experience unforgettable moments that could change everything. Let’s dive into Part 4!

Proceed to the Training Grounds when you are ready. Upon arriving, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you’re curious to see what they have to say.  You’ll notice that the tree has grown even more. Tonks will mention that she heard some students have been sneaking out here to share words of love in secret, which helped the tree grow. 

There’s still some decorating to finish, food to check, and, most importantly, making sure the Japanese maple is thriving. You’ll suggest wrapping up the final preparations for the party.

To finish party preparations, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. The five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

Unfortunately, this task doesn’t include any bonus progress actions. You will successfully complete all the preparations for the party. Then Ted will ask you for your opinion on what he should include in his words of love for his wife at the celebration.

There are three different options to choose from. These options will influence some dialogue that will follow, but they won’t impact the story.

As Ted speaks about his wife, the tree will begin to grow even more and will start changing colors. You’ll thank him for his help and express hope to see both him and Andromeda at the party. Then it will be time to choose who you’ll bring to the celebration. 

Go to the Great Hall to continue the story. Upon arriving, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you’re curious to see what they have to say. However, there you’ll notice that Ismelda doesn’t seem happy at all. You and Tonks will approach her and ask what’s wrong.

She’ll say she’s not sure if she’ll come to the party—she hadn’t asked anyone yet and wanted to invite Ben, but she’s afraid he might say no. You’ll tell her she shouldn’t give up so easily and start encouraging her to ask him.

To convince Ismelda, you need to earn five stars within three hours. The five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

Bonus progress actions are tied to Ismelda and Tonks. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. 

Following that, she will ask you how to make the first move. There are three different options to choose from. These options will influence some dialogue that will follow, but they won’t impact the story.

After that, it will be your turn to choose who you want to take on a date. Your options are: Barnaby, Penny, Merula, Andre, Chiara, Talbott, Badeea, or Jae. Pick the one you like the most.

Tonks will then ask if you’re sure about your choice. If you’re not, you can pick again.

After you choose who you want to go with, you’ll decide to meet them in the courtyard and ask if they’ll come to the party with you.

We have chosen Merula. Regardless of who you pick, there won’t be any changes to the story—only some of the dialogue will be slightly different.

Proceed to the Clocktower Courtyard when you are ready. When you arrive, your date will be waiting for you. You’ll get different dialogue lines depending on who you chose as your date (Merula’s lines will be a bit less romantic and more straightforward).

You’ll say that you’ve heard plenty of romantic stories, and some of them are definitely worth sharing. She’ll suggest that you tell her, and then move on to the real reason you invited her.

To share love lessons, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. The five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

The bonus progress actions are tied to your character. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. Slide the screen left and right to check all available actions. 

You’ll say that Molly Weasley’s story reminded you that loving someone means cherishing every moment with them. Ted Tonks helped you realize that true love is worth fighting for. And helping Professor Sprout’s tree taught you that love needs to be nurtured in order to grow. Moved by these thoughts, you’ll then ask your date if they’ll come to the party with you.

Following that she will ask you which part of the party you are looking forward to the most. There are three different options to choose from. All of them will eventually lead to the same outcome, so feel free to take your pick.

You’ll be told that it’s better to head back to your dorms now since it’s quite late and you don’t want to get into trouble with Filch.

When you arrive, everyone will already be there, and Merula will notice how you’ve arranged the party in your own unique style. These lines will differ based on your previous choices.

You’ll say that if all goes well, the words of love shared tonight will help the enchanted Japanese maple grow, and if it grows large enough, it might reveal its hidden message explaining the true nature of love. Merula will ask you not to tell anyone she said that because she really wants to see it and is very excited. Then you’ll tell her you have a few special words you want to rehearse with her, and she has some too.

To exchange words of love, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. The five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

Bonus progress actions are tied to smitten slytherin and Merula. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. Slide the screen left and right to check all available actions. 

You’ll notice that the tree is bigger than ever, which means your mission was a success.

After that, Merula will ask you why you chose her to be your date. There are three different options to choose from. All of them will eventually lead to the same outcome, so feel free to take your pick.

Professor Sprout will approach you and add that she has just examined the fully grown enchanted Japanese maple and found a message inscribed on it — a simple poem that reads: Love grows beautifully when nurtured and cared for. But when you share that love with others, it turns magical. May the love in your life grow as beautiful and strong as this tree.

Professor Sprout will thank you for everything and tell you to go enjoy the rest of this beautiful, romantic evening with your date.
