A Weasley Christmas Vacation Part 2

Introduction

Hello everyone, welcome to Part 2 of our Walkthrough for A Weasley Christmas Vacation Adventure of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. In the previous part, you accepted the Weasley family’s invitation to join them for Christmas and headed to their house, where another surprise awaited you—your brother. After that, you suggested helping them pack and met the youngest member of the Weasley family, Ginny, who seemed a bit shy at first.

You then went to Mr. Weasley, still at work, and encountered a challenge with Madam Umbridge, who initially refused to let him leave for the holiday until he completed all the paperwork. After some effort and persuasion, you managed to convince Madam Umbridge to allow Mr. Weasley to go. Upon returning to the Weasleys’ house, Mrs. Weasley informed you that she had misread Charlie’s message and that you would have to wait a little longer before the Portkey activated.

Sensing a bit of disappointment among everyone, you suggested playing the game Exploding Snap. Just as you finished the game, Mrs. Weasley announced that the Portkey was ready. Gathering everyone, you began the countdown and successfully activated the Portkey that would take you to the Romanian Dragon Sanctuary.

Proceed to the Clearing at the Romanian Dragon Sanctuary when you are ready. When you arrive, Charlie will be very surprised to see you.

He’ll say that he didn’t know your brother and you were coming, and you will tell him it’s Bill’s surprise.

Following that, Bill will suggest that you and Charlie catch up. Afterward, you’ll ask Charlie how he’s doing, and he will respond excitedly that he’s never been better, fulfilling his dream of working in the Sanctuary. Then, you’ll start chatting to catch up. 

To complete the next task, you need to earn five stars within three hours. All five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start this task with a full energy bar.

The bonus progress actions are tied to Charlie. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. Slide the screen left and right to check all available actions. 

When you finish, you’ll comment that you were so busy catching up that you didn’t notice everyone had gone into the tent. Charlie will agree and say that they shouldn’t be blamed because it’s very cold.

You’ll add that you can’t believe he gets to work with rehabilitating dragons every day, and he will comment that it’s his dream.

You’ll comment that it certainly worked in your favor when you had to save his dad from Madam Umbridge, who tried to keep him at work to finish the paperwork. He will be surprised to hear that and thank you for helping ensure his family arrived on time.

He will express how pleased he is that you and your brother are there to spend Christmas with them. There are two options to choose from. If you like Charlie, it is recommended to pick the first option.

After that, he will suggest entering the tent before his mother starts worrying. 

Go to the Tent to continue the story. Upon arriving, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you’re curious to see what they have to say. When you come inside, Mrs. Weasley will be concerned that you might have gotten cold, and she’ll offer you tea to warm up while you decorate the Christmas tree together.

She will say that there are different flavors available: peppermint, apple spice, and ginger turmeric. Mrs. Weasley will mention that Charlie’s favorite is peppermint, and Ginny enjoys apple spice during the holidays. She’ll add that she personally likes ginger turmeric.

Then, she’ll ask you to choose which tea you’d like. There are three different options to choose from. All of them will eventually lead to the same outcome, so feel free to take your pick.

Following that, she will suggest that you help decorate the Christmas tree. If you chose “Winter activities” as your favorite in the previous choice, you will receive an additional dialogue line.

Shortly after, you’ll start decorating the Christmas tree. To complete the next task, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. All five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start this task with a full energy bar.

Unfortunately, there are no bonus progress actions in this task. When you finish, the Christmas tree will be successfully decorated.

You will ask Mrs. Weasley what she thinks of the Christmas tree, and she will comment that it’s perfect and that she’s glad you managed to relax a bit while decorating it. You’ll agree with her, saying it’s nice to not worry about anything and focus on something simple. At that moment, Ginny will approach you.

She will add that Charlie told her it’s the best time to see the dragons now.

If you chose “Tour of the Dragon Sanctuary” as your favorite in the previous choice, you will receive an additional dialogue line. Then you will go with Ginny to spot the dragons.

Proceed to the Welsh Green Nest when you are ready. You will ask Charlie if he’s sure you should get so close to the dragon.

He’ll simply warn you not to make sudden movements and not to shout, so as not to upset the dragon. Ginny will be very surprised when she sees the dragon and will comment that it’s very beautiful. You’ll ask Charlie why he chose the name Apple for the dragon.

To complete the next task, you need to earn five stars within three hours. All five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

Bonus progress actions are tied to Ginny, Dragon, and your character. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. 

When you finish, you’ll learn that Apple was found in an apple orchard with a broken wing. Charlie was called to investigate a dragon sighting at a rural Muggle farmstead, and he found a Welsh Green dragon’s nest in an orchard, which is unusual since they prefer the mountains. Charlie will explain that, with a broken wing, Apple was trying to sustain herself with small animals and apples, which is why he named her Apple.

He’ll say that Welsh Greens are not supposed to eat apples, and he’ll ask if you know what their favorite food is. There are three options to choose from. The correct answer is “sheep”.

He’ll say that fortunately, Apple has strengthened recently and started flying short distances. Soon, she’ll be back to hunting sheep and soaring the skies. You will be very glad to hear that.

You’ll convince Charlie that he deserves all the praise because of him Apple will be able to rejoin her family soon. Charlie will agree with you and comment that it’s probably very hard for her to spend so much time away from their family, but she will return to them stronger than ever. Then Charlie will suggest seeing another nest, but at that moment, you realize that Ginny is missing.

You’ll try to calm Charlie and say that maybe Ginny got cold, so she went to the camp. You’ll suggest going there to check if she’s there.

Go to the Clearing to find Ginny. When you arrive at the camp, Bill will notice that you’re worried and ask you what’s happening.

You will tell him that Ginny got lost while you were talking about the Welsh Green and that you searched the entire area but couldn’t find her anywhere. You will also mention that you followed tracks but couldn’t discern which way she went.

Bill will tell you to calm down and reassure you that you will find Ginny.

To complete the next task, you need to earn five stars within three hours. All five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

The bonus progress actions are tied to Bill. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. 

When you finish, you will say that Bill’s idea to establish a search grid and then thoroughly search each area is perfect. Bill will agree with your idea of splitting up to cover more ground, and he’ll agree with Charlie that checking the caves near the Welsh Green’s nest is a good idea.

You’ll agree that you have a solid plan, but Charlie will mention one thing. Bill will ask what it is, and Charlie will say not to tell their parents to avoid ruining Christmas for them. Bill, however, will disagree with the decision, thinking that the more of you look for Ginny, the quicker you’ll find her.

He’ll then ask for your opinion, letting you decide. There are two different options to choose from. Whichever option you choose, they will eventually find out that Ginny is missing.

Following that, Mr. Weasley will approach you and say that you all seem to be having fun out here, mentioning that he just came to check on the fire. Then he’ll notice that Ginny is missing and ask you where she is. These lines will differ based on your previous choice.

Shortly after, Bill will ask you with whom you would prefer to go searching, with him or with Charlie. If you prefer Bill, choose the first option. Otherwise, if you prefer Charlie, choose the second option.

Then you will suggest starting the search for Ginny.
