Apparition Is Your Mission Part 2

Introduction

Hello everyone, welcome to Part 2 of our Walkthrough for Apparition is Your Mission Adventure of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. In the previous part, your boss enrolled you in an Apparition course. Together with Tonks and Barnaby, you’ve learned about the three components of Apparition: Destination, Determination, and Deliberation.

You’ve learned more about Destination from Professor Trelawney. Now you need to practice other aspects of this teleportation skill. When this part of the adventure starts, some time in the story has passed and now you are halfway through your Apparition course.

Summary

Walkthrough

Go to the Alleyway to continue the story. You’ll remind yourself that you need to keep practicing if you want to apparate flawlessly. You won’t be sure what exactly Mr. Twycross meant when he said that you have to move deliberately.

Suddenly, Callum will apparate accidentally in front of you which will scare him a little bit.

He’ll ask you what you are doing in an alley.

You will explain that Flump enrolled you in an Apparition course and you are having trouble with the Deliberation part. Callum will offer to help you. To complete this task, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. All five stars are required to pass. It is recommended to start this task when your energy bar is full.

Bonus progress actions are tied to both Callum and your character. Your character will have multiple actions with bonus progress, so it’s wise to focus on actions tied to him.

Callum will explain that being deliberate doesn’t mean you have to be slow, but you have to take into account how you want to land at your destination.

Callum will want you to try Apparition now but you will explain that Mr. Twycross forbids this skill without him present. Still, your coworker will insist. You will have a choice and if you pick the first option, you will get additional dialogue later with Mr. Twycross.

Much to your surprise, Callum will admit that you are his favorite coworker.

The following line of dialogue will differ based on your House in Hogwarts.

He will then wish you luck with your course. You’ll decide to practice during your six more weeks of Apparition classes. Before you continue, you’ll have a waiting time of three hours.

After the waiting time is over, go to the Department of Magical Law Enforcement. If you are curious about what Aurors have to say, tap on the speech bubbles above their heads. Once you, Barnaby, and Tonks are there, you will meet with Mad-Eye Moody. He has heard that your final Apparition class is today.

He’ll offer you some advice on the Determination component of Apparition. Before that, he’ll ask you and your friends if you feel prepared for your upcoming exam. This choice will influence some dialogue later but it won’t influence the overall story.

Whatever you say to him, he’ll advise that you should have constant determination and pay attention to what he says.

For the next task, you need to earn five stars within three hours. All five stars are required to pass.

Bonus progress actions are tied to Mad-Eye Moody, to the Auror near the door, and to the Auror at the far right. Prioritize these actions to save as much energy as possible during this task. Don’t forget to slide the screen left and right to check all the available actions.

You will learn that to stay determined you should try to think of where you want to go and how much you want to be there.

Mad-Eye will ask you what happens if you’re insufficiently determined. The correct answer is “Splinching”.

Mad-Eye will wish you luck on your last class before the exam. Go to the Hogsmeade Festival Grounds to meet Mr. Twycross. Your instructor will welcome you to the final class before the exam. You will remember some more dramatic memories of the past twelve weeks.

Mr. Twycross will remind you that this is the last chance to practice a flawless Apparition. After the class is over, there will be a short break, and afterward, the exam will begin.

If you’ve practiced Apparition with Callum, you will get an additional line of dialogue here.

To practice Apparating during your final class, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. All five stars are required to pass. It is recommended to start this task when your energy bar is full.

Bonus progress actions are tied to Mr. Twycross and your character. Prioritize these actions to save a bit of energy. When some of the characters apparate, wait for them to return.

You will try one more time to apparate and you will succeed.

The instructor will tell you that you’ve done a perfect Apparition. You can reply in three different ways. This choice won’t have a significant impact on the story, so feel free to choose the option you like.

Sadly, your friends didn’t succeed in doing flawless Apparition.

You’ll want to reassure your friends but if you practice with Callum, Mr. Twycross will stop you because he wants to talk with you after class. He will accuse you of practicing Apparition outside of class.

You can reply in three different ways. If you like Callum, pick the first or third option.

Luckily, not only that Callum has an Apparition license, but he was also Mr. Twycross’s exceptional student and he occasionally fills in as an Apparition Instructor. This will be enough for Mr. Twycross to forgive you.

However, he’ll think you need to face some consequences. He will inform your boss about what happened. Now you’ll need to bring your friends back because the exam will start soon.
