Introduction

Hello everyone, welcome to Part 4 of our Walkthrough for the Budding Talent Adventure of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. Part 3: You successfully collected all the necessary ingredients for Leah Lee’s magical fertiliser lesson with help from Hagrid, Penny, and Merula. You navigated challenges with Professor Snape, learned valuable potion knowledge, and strengthened your teamwork skills. Now, with everything prepared, it’s time to meet Leah and assist her in teaching the lesson, putting all your hard work and newly gained skills into practice in the Herbology classroom.

You’ll need to wait six hours before you can continue.

Head to the Herbology Classroom once the waiting time is over. When you arrive, you will tell Leah that you have successfully collected all four ingredients. She will be pleased to hear this and will mention that she met Hagrid, who told her he gave you the dragon dung in exchange for your help. 

She will then ask you which of the remaining three ingredients was the hardest to gather, and you can choose whichever option you like — it won’t affect the story.

In any case, she will say that you are now ready to learn the real secret that makes her fertiliser so special. She will then ask you to pay close attention before revealing the secret.

To learn Leah’s secret, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. The five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

The bonus progress actions are tied to Leah. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. Slide the screen left and right to check all available actions. 

The fifth ingredient is hidden in the place where she used to grow her plants. The final ingredient is lionfish spines, and they truly make all the difference. They’re often used in healing potions, but she has found them incredibly effective in her fertiliser brew. She will then lead you to her secret place to show you where the ingredient can be found.

Go to the Outskirts Greenhouse to continue the story. When you arrive, you will tell Leah that this is your secret spot as well, and that Professor Sprout assigned you to be its caretaker. Leah will be surprised and congratulate you. 

She will then begin to tell you how she discovered this place, explaining that it was abandoned when she found it many years ago. She was a student at the time, but she took it upon herself to bring it back to life. It looked like the perfect place to keep a secret garden, and from that moment on, she was forever in love with Herbology. 

She will then ask if there is anything else you’d like to know about her story in the Outskirts Greenhouse. There are three different options to choose from. These options will influence some dialogue that will follow, but they won’t impact the story.

Since Leah hasn’t been here in a long time, you will decide to search together for the final ingredient, the lionfish spines.

To find the last ingredient, you need to earn five stars within three hours. The five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

The bonus progress actions are tied to Leah. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. Slide the screen left and right to check all available actions. 

Luckily, you will quickly find the final ingredient in a nearby pot. Leah will then tell you that you are ready for the lesson and ask you to go gather your friends and invite them to join you in class.

Proceed to the Herbology Classroom when you are ready. When you return to the classroom with your friends, Leah will welcome everyone warmly. You will also introduce Merula to Leah, since she helped you gather the ingredients. After a brief conversation to get acquainted, Leah will begin the lesson, adding that brewing this fertiliser is trickier than it seems.

To brew the fertiliser, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. The five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

She will then say that now, for the final step, just a tap of the wand will do, and ask you if you would like to do the honours. Trace the wand movement to finish the brew. 

She will then tell you that the lesson isn’t over yet and ask a question: at what point in the process should you add the lionfish spines? The correct answer is that it’s the final step.

Following that, she will thank everyone and ask you to meet her after class to give you something, which you will gladly agree to.

Go to the Lower Floor – East to continue the story. Upon arriving, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you’re curious to see what they have to say. When you meet with Leah, she will say that Professor Sprout has sent word that she’s on her way back. It’s bittersweet, but her time as a substitute teacher has officially come to an end. 

You will add that you’re sad to see her go and that you hope she had a good time at Hogwarts. She will reply that she definitely did and that she never imagined she would be a teacher. She will then ask if there was anything you especially enjoyed about being her assistant.

There are three different options to choose from. All of them will eventually lead to the same outcome, so feel free to take your pick.

Afterward, she will say that she has a gift for you, but among all the things she brought in her luggage, she can’t seem to find it, adding that she’s terribly disorganized. You will step in to help her search and locate your gift.

Finally, you will find the gift Leah wanted to give you — a Mallowsweet plant, for your very own collection. She will tell you that if you take good care of it, it will reward you in time. You will thank Leah warmly and feel extremely pleased and satisfied with your new magical plant.

You will receive 4 Gems, 3 Chocolate Frogs, and 1000 Experience Points. You will also receive a Mallowsweet plant.

You’ll earn the achievement for completing the adventure.

By the end of this unforgettable adventure, you will have grown not only in skill but in confidence, teamwork, and magical knowledge. From assisting Leah Lee in preparing her greenhouse and gathering rare ingredients to navigating challenges with Hagrid, Filch, and even Professor Snape, you will have proven yourself to be resourceful, brave, and dedicated.
