Hello everyone, welcome to Part 1 of our Walkthrough for Career Days at Hogwarts Adventure of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. Professor Dumbledore announces a series of career-focused events at Hogwarts! Esteemed professionals like Alastor ‘Mad-Eye’ Moody, Miriam Strout, and Amos Diggory will visit to share their wisdom. With Professor Trelawney’s vision, help your friends choose their perfect career. Prove your capabilities in various magical professions while contemplating your own destiny. Complete this special adventure to earn three statues for your room, representing courage, empathy, and wisdom!

(Disclaimer: This walkthrough will feature the gameplay from the perspective of the Beyond player. Since the adventure is available for students of Year 3 and above, the star and attribute requirements for certain tasks might be different for you, depending on your current progress of the main story.)

Proceed to the Great Hall when you are ready to hear the announcement. Upon arriving, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you’re curious to see what they have to say. Professor Dumbledore will thank everyone for coming and add that he has a very special announcement that concerns each and every one of you, sparking your curiosity to find out what it’s about.

He will then introduce three renowned guests, adding that each has achieved success in their respective fields and left a significant mark on the wizarding world.

This line will differ based on what year you attend.

Following that, Professor Dumbledore will say that you are surely wondering why his esteemed guests have joined you today, adding that it concerns your future careers. He will then begin to explain in more detail. To discover Dumbledore’s design, you need to earn five stars within three hours. All five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

Bonus progress actions are tied to Mr.Diggory, Penny, and Professor Dumbledore. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. Slide the screen left and right to check all available actions. 

The Headmaster will explain that at Hogwarts, it is customary for fifth years to visit their respective Heads of House to discuss their futures. However, he is happy to inform you that this special career program will be open to all students.

This line will differ based on what year you attend.

Professor Dumbledore will say that in the coming days, experts from various fields will be visiting Hogwarts to share their wisdom, and he hopes you will take this chance to learn about the many magical occupations the wizarding world has to offer.

He will then advise you to think about your future career and consider not only your strengths but also your passions, as loving what you do makes it feel less like work. Following that, he will officially declare the career days open.

Penny will comment that the statues the Headmaster pointed out are fascinating too, as they represent courage, empathy, and knowledge. She will then ask you which trait you value the most. There are three different options to choose from. All of them will eventually lead to the same outcome, so feel free to take your pick.

You’ll wonder what the first career event will be, and Penny will say that no one knows yet, but she’s heard that the first event will be held tonight at midnight in the Astronomy Tower.

These lines will differ based on your previous choice.

Shortly after, Penny will say that she’s very excited and can’t wait to go to the Astronomy Tower.

Go to the Astronomy Tower to attend the event. Upon arriving, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you’re curious to see what they have to say. When you arrive, Merula will comment that it’s not every night that the professors allow you to leave the dorms after dark. This line will differ based on what year you attend.

Merula will say that no one knows exactly what this event is supposed to be, only that those who seek knowledge are most welcome. These lines will differ based on your previous choice.

Merula will comment that with knowledge, you can do anything, adding that when you’re as intelligent and talented as she is, it can be hard to narrow down the possibilities. She’ll say that she thinks that’s what this career program is all about, and perhaps there’s someone there who can help.

You’ll tell her that you think she just discovered the theme for this event, which is magical scholars and professors. You’ll suggest that you both look for someone who could help you consider what the future holds. To seek scholarly advice, you need to earn five stars within three hours. Three stars are required to pass. 

Bonus progress actions are tied to Professor McGonagall, Professor Sikander, Professor Binns, Tonks,  and your character. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. Slide the screen left and right to check all available actions. 

When you finish, you’ll comment that all the magical scholars and professors you spoke to are passionate about their chosen fields. Merula will say it’s useless because none of them can help you choose a career. However, you’ll say that there is one person who can help you: a Divination expert.

This line will differ based on what year you attend.

She’ll say she wants to help you and ask you to join her in the courtyard before dawn, where she’ll show you your destiny. Following that, she’ll leave, and Merula will ask you why you would waste your time with Professor Trelawney’s nonsense. 

There are three different options to choose from. These options will influence some dialogue that will follow, but they won’t impact the story.

You’ll then decide to meet with Professor Trelawney and see what you can learn about your future career.

Proceed to the Clocktower Courtyard when you are ready. Upon arriving, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you’re curious to see what they have to say. When you arrive, you’ll thank Professor Trelawney for agreeing to help you.

She’ll say that your friends have already gazed into her crystal ball and seen a vision of what is to come.

Following that, she’ll tell you to sit down because your turn is next.

To predict your future, you need to earn five stars within three hours. All five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

Bonus progress actions are tied to Professor Trelawney, Tonks, the crystal ball, and Merula. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. Slide the screen left and right to check all available actions.

You’ll ask the professor if it really works, because so far all she’s done is predict different ways that you might die. However, she’ll tell you that she doesn’t control what appears. At that moment, an image will start to appear in the crystal ball. When you look closer into the orb, you’ll see something very strange: a work desk.

Professor Trelawney will praise you and say that the orb has revealed a glimpse of your future. She’ll mention that she needs to rest now because she’s exhausted. You’ll thank her, and Merula will come up to you and ask what your inner eye has revealed.

Merula will then ask you how you feel about a career working at a desk. There are three different options to choose from. All of them will eventually lead to the same outcome, so feel free to take your pick.

Merula will say that at least you saw something concrete, adding that all she saw was a blur. She’ll be dissatisfied with your idea of Divination because she’s now more unsure about her future career than ever.

Shortly after, Merula will advise you to go to bed because a new guest is coming to the Transfiguration class in the morning.
