Chapter 1 – New Threads

Introduction

Hello everyone, witches and wizards alike, and welcome to our Walkthrough for Quidditch Season 4 Chapter 1 of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. During the previous season, you had the opportunity to play Keeper for your house team. You also helped your teammates find their balance by helping them nurture their bodies, minds, and hearts.

On top of that, you convinced all four teams to work together and save the Quidditch season. After the Quidditch Cup final, you learn that your team’s Seeker will be leaving Hogwarts to study at the Golden Snidget sanctuary. Since your team will be needing a Seeker, you are pretty much a perfect candidate for the position. Also, Orion informed you that he’ll be stepping down as the team captain, so you’ll be the one to lead the team this season.

(Disclaimer: Some of the tasks might have different star and attribute requirements, depending on your current progress of the main story. The following Walkthrough contains the images from Year 7, which pretty much has the highest requirements.)

Now is the time to continue where you left off. Proceed to the Quidditch Pitch when you are ready to meet with your teammates. When you arrive, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you are curious to see what they have to say. You’ll cheerfully greet Orion and say you are looking forward to the new season of Quidditch.

Orion will also be excited about it, eager to see you as the team’s new captain, and you’ll thank him for having faith in you.

He’ll praise everything you’ve done in his absence during the previous season, and he will remind you of some of the things you accomplished as acting captain.

All things considered, Orion will be confident you have what it takes to be a great captain.

You’ll thank him for his kind words and ask if he has any advice for you. After giving it some thought, he’ll advise you to think for yourself and figure out what’s right for you, thankfully being there to provide guidance and help you out if needed.

You’ll thank Orion for his advice, and shortly after, you’ll decide to address the team, with Skye helping you by quickly grabbing everyone’s attention.

Addressing your team requires earning five stars within one hour. Three stars are needed to pass.

Be sure to slide the screen left and right to see all the available actions. As always, prioritize bonus progress actions to save energy.

The following lines of dialogue will differ, based on the results of the previous seasons.

Skye will also say a few words.

In any case, the new season is more than likely going to be challenging, especially for you.

Skye will look forward to the upcoming season, and she’ll be curious to know what you are most excited about. There are three options to reply with. This choice won’t significantly impact the story, so feel free to go with the option you prefer.

Shortly after, you’ll suggest heading over to the changing room to prepare for your first practice.

Proceed there when you are ready to continue. Once you arrive, you’ll notice that the changing room has been completely trashed.

To make things worse, the team’s uniforms got torn to shreds.

Needless to say, that’s not good news, and you’ll wonder who could’ve done such a thing.

Orion will point out that the changing room most likely got trashed while you were having a team meeting, so you’ll suggest searching the room for evidence.

Looking for evidence requires earning five stars within three hours. All five stars are needed to pass, so avoid starting this task with an empty energy bar.

There are bonus progress actions tied to your character and the torn robes. Prioritize those if you are looking to save some energy.

After searching the room, you’ll find a piece of Treacle Tart.

Given that the players are not supposed to bring food into the changing room, Orion will assume that the Treacle Tart was left behind by the culprit, according to Bean, one of the other teams is responsible for trashing the room.

Orion will advise you against making accusations before you know all the facts. Still, it will be your decision to make. You can choose whether you want to wait until you find out what happened or report it immediately. It is highly recommended to choose the first option and wait until you have all the facts.

In any case, you’ll need to find some new Quidditch robes as soon as possible.

Orion will trust you have what it takes to solve the problem.

You will thank him for believing in you. After considering the situation, you’ll decide to see if Madam Hooch has some extra robes you and your teammates could use.

You’ll need to wait three hours before you can continue. Since you will most likely be low on energy at this point, it is recommended to wait and let your energy recharge in the meantime.

Head to the training grounds once the waiting time is over. Unfortunately, Madam Hooch won’t be there when you arrive.

After taking a look around, you’ll spot Penny standing nearby.

Perhaps she could tell you where Madam Hooch is, as it seems, you’re not the only one looking for Madam Hooch.

Penny will admit she’s excited about the upcoming season.

You’ll recall the first Quidditch match you watched with her.

Penny will be certain you’ll do great as the team’s Seeker and the captain. You’ll thank her for her support. The choice that you made during the team meeting will take effect here.

Orion will inform her about what happened.

Your Hufflepuff friend will find it hard to believe that anyone would do such a thing. Your previous choice will take effect here.

You’ll tell Penny you need to find some replacement robes for your team; luckily, she saw Madam Hooch transporting some extra robes into storage, but unfortunately, Penny won’t be able to remember where she saw Madam Hooch.

You’ll suggest working together to retrace her steps. Perhaps that way, she’ll be able to remember where the robes are. Helping Penny remember requires earning five stars within three hours. Three stars are needed to pass.

There are bonus progress actions linked to Penny and your character. Focus on those if you want to save some energy.

Luckily, Penny will remember seeing Madam Hooch in the Artefact Room.

Skye will thank her for the help, and as it seems, you should head to the Artefact Room next.

Proceed there when you are ready to continue. After arriving, Orion will realize that Madam Hooch isn’t the only one storing things in the Artefact Room.

Skye will say it won’t be easy to find the robes.

You’ll assure her you will find the robes in no time. If you’ve completed the Third Quidditch Cup adventure, you’ll get some additional lines of dialogue here.

Moments later, the three of you will start searching the room. Searching for robes requires earning five stars within three hours. Three stars are needed to pass.

There are bonus progress actions tied to your character, the basket, and the barrel. Prioritize those if you want to save some energy.

After searching the place, you’ll find the trunk Penny told you about.

Skye will suggest opening it, but unfortunately, the trunk will appear to be locked. She’ll say she can easily open it using the Unlocking Charm, but Orion will advise her against doing that. He’ll suggest looking for Madam Hooch and asking her for permission first. However, Skye will be eager to get the robes and start practicing.

In the end, you’ll be the one to make a decision. Needless to say, Madam Hooch won’t be happy if you decide to use Alohomora, so it is highly recommended to go with the first option and wait for permission.

In any case, Orion and you will decide to head to the pitch and assemble the team. In the meantime, Skye will either look for Madam Hooch to ask her for permission to use the robes, or she will stay in the Artefact Room to open the trunk, based on your choice.

You will need to wait four hours before you can continue. Since you will most likely be low on energy at this point, it is recommended to wait and let your energy recharge in the meantime.

Proceed to the Quidditch pitch once the waiting time is over. When you arrive, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of your teammates. Tap on those if you are curious to see what they have to say. You’ll tell your teammates that Skye should arrive soon with some new Quidditch robes.

The following line will differ based on your previous choice.

Moments later, Skye and Madam Hooch will arrive. If you decided to ask for permission, you’ll explain the situation to Madam Hooch. Otherwise, she won’t be too happy about Skye using Alohomora on the trunk.

In any case, you’ll need to convince her to provide your team with new robes. Explaining the situation requires earning five stars within three hours. Since all five stars are needed to pass, it is not recommended to start this task if your energy bar is empty.

Be sure to slide the screen left and right to see all the available actions. There is a bonus progress action tied to your character. Prioritize it to save a bit of energy.

After considering everything, Madam Hooch will decide to provide your team with replacement robes. These lines will differ based on your previous choice.

You’ll be incredibly happy to hear that Madam Hooch advises you to treat the new robes well since she won’t be issuing any more replacements. You’ll promise to take good care of them. Now that you have the robes, you can finally start practicing.

However, you’ll wonder who destroyed your team’s robes. As it seems, Bean might have some information that could help solve the mystery. Apparently, she knows who’s responsible for leaving the Treacle Tart behind in the changing room. She’ll ask you to meet with her after practice so she can tell you everything she knows.

Shortly after, the practice will start. During this friendly, you’ll be playing Seeker. The task window will display all the relevant information. Hit Start when you are ready to begin.

Playing Seeker is slightly different from playing other positions. Here, you need to quickly react and drag the token to each circle when it flashes green. Luckily, it’s not too difficult once you get a hang of it, so with some practice, you won’t have any trouble catching the Golden Snitch.

Once you finish the practice, Season 4 Chapter 1 will come to an end. Hit the Collect button to claim your rewards. You will receive 400 Coins and 40 Dragon Club Experience Points.

The new season has started, and without a doubt, this one will be more challenging than the others. Thankfully, you were able to find replacement robes.
