Chapter 2 -Seeking Advice
Introduction
Hello everyone, welcome to our Walkthrough for Quidditch Season 4 Chapter 2 of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. Last time, you and your teammates had a team meeting to discuss the upcoming Quidditch season. You then went to the changing room to prepare for practice. When you got there, you were in for a surprise. The changing room was completely trashed, and everyone’s Quidditch robes were torn to shreds. Needless to say, everyone was shocked to see that, and they were wondering who was responsible for it. You went to look for Madam Hooch to ask her for replacement robes.
Unfortunately, you were unable to find her, but Penny told you she saw her storing a trunk of extra Quidditch robes in the Artefact Room. You went there with Orion and Skye, and after searching the room, you found the trunk containing the robes. Sadly, it was locked, so you had to choose if you want to ask Madam Hooch for permission or not.
Later on, you gathered your teammates, and Madam Hooch arrived with a trunk of extra Quidditch robes. Thankfully, you were able to convince her to give the robes to your team. Before practicing with your team, Bean asked you to meet her once the practice is over.

Walkthrough
(Disclaimer: Some of the tasks might have different star and attribute requirements, depending on your current progress of the main story. The following Walkthrough contains the images from Year 7, which pretty much has the highest requirements.)
Proceed to the Quidditch changing room when you are ready. Once you arrive, you will notice the speech bubbles above some of your teammates. Tap on those if you are curious to see what they have to say. You’ll greet Bean and ask if she wanted to talk to you.

She will nod and say there is something you need to know about the Quidditch robe incident. Apparently, she knows who’s responsible for leaving a piece of Treacle Tart in the changing room. She’ll admit that she was the one who did it.

She will say that she didn’t have any ill intent. She simply didn’t want to waste a perfectly good tart, so she left it in the changing room. You’ll ask if she knows what happened to the Quidditch robes. As it seems, Bean had nothing to do with that.

She will apologize for breaking the rules and causing the team to lose practice time. She’ll tell you she is ready to face the consequences of her actions. There are two options for you to choose from. You can either forgive Bean or reprimand her. If you like Bean, it is recommended that you forgive her.

You’ll thank Bean for being honest with you, but you’ll need to find the one responsible for destroying your team’s robes. Suddenly, Bean will hear a strange noise, and Orion will approach, confirming that he heard it too. According to him, it came from one of the lockers. You’ll suggest investigating it. To do that, you will need to earn five stars within one hour. One star is needed to pass.

Be sure to slide the screen left and right to see all the available actions. There are bonus progress actions tied to your team’s Chaser and the lockers. Prioritize those to save energy.

You’ll notice something moving inside the locker, so you’ll ask everyone to stay back. By carefully taking out your wand, you’ll open the locker. As soon as you do, you’ll find the one responsible for destroying your team’s Quidditch robes.

The following lines of dialogue will differ based on several factors. If you’ve completed An Enchanted Kiss adventure, you’ll immediately recognize the creature as Barnaby’s pet, Knarl. If you haven’t completed it and you have adopted a Knarl in the Magical Creatures Reserve, or if you have completed a Knarl lesson in Care of Magical Creatures, you will recognize the creature. Lastly, if you haven’t done anything mentioned above, you’ll mistake the creature for a hedgehog.

Bean will realize Knarl was the one who tore up your team’s Quidditch robes.

Orion will recall some facts about Knarls.

If you’ve completed An Enchanted Kiss adventure, you’ll get an additional line of dialogue.

You will figure out that Knarl wandered into the changing room while you were having a team meeting.

In the end, your opponents had nothing to do with what happened to the robes. The choice that you made in the previous chapter will take effect here.

You’ll be glad that the mystery has finally been solved. Orion will say that you’ve overcome your first challenge as Captain, and now you can focus on another big challenge: training to become a Seeker.
You’ll need to learn a lot of things in order to become one, and you won’t be sure where to start. Orion will advise you to begin by learning about the basic fundamentals of the position, and thankfully, Murphy should be able to help you with that.

Head to the Commentary Box when you are ready to continue. Murphy will be happy to see you and Orion. He’ll mention the odds of both of you visiting him at the same time.

You will tell him you need to learn about the basics of the Seeker position, and you’ll ask if he would be kind enough to teach you. Thankfully, Murphy will be more than willing to help you, and shortly after, he’ll start teaching you about the basics of Seeking.

To learn about Seeking, you will need to earn five stars within three hours. Three stars are needed to pass.

There is a bonus progress action tied to Orion. Prioritize it if you want to save a bit of energy.

You will learn that the role of Seeker has three main virtues: glory, style, and independence, and Orion will tell you that each of those virtues comes with a unique challenge. He and Murphy will tell you about those challenges.

In order to become a legendary Seeker, you’ll need to master all three of those challenges. Murphy will be curious to know which of those challenges you are most nervous about. There are three options to choose from. This choice won’t significantly impact the story, so feel free to go with the option you prefer.

You’ll then ask if they have any advice for you.

Orion will tell you to take things one step at a time, while Murphy advises you to learn more about being a Seeker. After giving it some thought, you’ll decide to see if Face Paint Kid can test your knowledge of Seeking with one of his Quidditch Quizzes. Murphy will like that idea and mention that he saw Face Paint Kid in the Great Hall earlier.
You will need to wait three hours before you can continue. Since you will likely be low on energy at this point, it is recommended to wait and let your energy recharge in the meantime.

Proceed to the Great Hall once the waiting time is over. Upon arriving, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you want to see what they have to say. Face Paint Kid will be glad that you decided to take another one of his signature Quidditch Quizzes.

He’ll look forward to finding out how much you know about Seeking, and you will also be excited about the quiz. By the looks of it, you won’t be the only one taking the quiz, as apparently, Charlie will also be testing his Quidditch knowledge.

The following lines will differ based on whether or not your character is a Gryffindor.

Charlie will suggest working together to help each other become even better Seekers. You can choose to prioritize friendship or stir competition. If you like Charlie, it is recommended to go with the first option. However, keep in mind that selecting this option requires you to have Charlie unlocked as a friend, and his friendship level needs to be 3 or higher.

Shortly after, Charlie will suggest preparing for the quiz by reviewing everything you know about Seeking. To do that, you will need to earn five stars within three hours. Three stars are needed to pass.

There are bonus progress actions tied to Face Paint Kid and your character. Focus on those if you want to save some energy.

Once you’re done reviewing, you’ll realize there’s a lot of information about being a Seeker. Your previous choice will take effect here.

Shortly after, the quiz will start. Face Paint Kid will start with an easy question. He’ll ask what the Seeker’s primary goal is. There are three options to choose from. The correct answer is “Catch the Golden Snitch”.

He’ll then ask how many points are scored for catching a Golden Snitch. The correct answer is “One hundred and fifty”.

Next, you’ll be asked about the three virtues of Seeking. The answer you should pick here is “Independence”.

Face Paint Kid will then ask a tricky question. He’ll ask what it is called when any player, other than the Seeker, touches the Golden Snitch. The correct answer is “Snitchnipping”.

Lastly, he’ll ask who invented the Golden Snitch. The correct answer is “Bowman Wright”.

If you’ve completed Secrets of Godric’s Hollow adventure, you’ll get an additional line of dialogue here.

Shortly after, Face Paint Kid will announce the results of the quiz. In case you got the questions wrong, he will allow you to retake the quiz.

If you’ve answered all the questions correctly, Face Paint Kid will say he is looking forward to seeing you on the pitch.

Now that you’ve tested your Quidditch knowledge, you can put it into practice by learning the first Seeker maneuver.
Head to the Quidditch Pitch when you are ready to meet with Skye. Once you arrive, you’ll be able to interact with some of your teammates and see what they have to say. Skye will be glad you passed the Face Paint Kid’s Seeker Quiz.

You’ll tell her you are ready to learn your first Seeker maneuver. As it seems, Skye has the perfect move for you – the Spiral Dive.

You’ll ask her about it, and she will explain how to perform the maneuver, also showing you a Golden Snitch.

The following lines of dialogue will differ, based on whether or not you’ve seen a Golden Snitch before.

You’ll admit you’ve never tried to catch one on the pitch, but according to Skye, that’s about to change. She’ll tell you to grab your broomstick, and soon enough, you’ll start practicing.
To learn the Spiral Dive maneuver, you will need to earn five stars within eight hours. All five stars are needed to pass.

There are bonus progress actions tied to Skye and the goalpost. Prioritize those if you want to save energy.

Once you’re done practicing, Skye will tell you to perform the maneuver. You’ll take a look at the Golden Snitch before taking a dive to catch it.

Thanks to all of the practicing, you’ll successfully perform the maneuver, and Skye will be confident you have what it takes to be a great Seeker. You’ll thank her for her kind words, and hopefully, with you as a Seeker, your team will be able to win the Quidditch Cup. Moments later, you’ll spot Penny waving at you.

After approaching her, she’ll apologize for interrupting your training and say there’s something she needs to speak with you about.

You’ll notice the worried look on her face, so you’ll ask her what happened. Apparently, she found out about something that could potentially affect the future of your whole Quidditch season. She’ll ask you to meet her in the courtyard when you’re done with practice.
You will need to finish one Quidditch friendly before you can continue. You can feel free to play any position you prefer during this friendly.

Try your best to successfully complete all the maneuvers to earn rewards.

When you are done, you’ll need to wait four hours before Penny is ready to meet with you. Since this chapter is not time-limited, it is recommended to wait until this timer runs out.

Proceed to the courtyard once the waiting time is over. Upon arriving, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you are curious to see what they have to say. Penny will thank you for meeting her. Once again, she will apologize for interrupting your training.

You’ll be curious to hear what she’s learned. Hearing Penny out requires earning five stars within three hours. Three stars are needed to pass.

There are bonus progress actions tied to Penny and your character. Focus on those if you want to save some energy.

According to the rumor Penny heard, Hufflepuff’s team (or Slytherin in case your character is a Hufflepuff) has a secret weapon that will help them win the season.

Unfortunately, Penny won’t be sure what the secret weapon is. The following lines of dialogue will differ based on whether or not your character is a Hufflepuff.

Needless to say, if the rumor is true, it could affect your team’s chances of winning the Quidditch Cup, but Penny will say it is possible that your opponents are making things up to distract your team and make you nervous.
She’ll ask if you are planning to share the information with the rest of your team. There are two options to reply with. This choice will affect some of the dialogue lines during the next chapter, but it won’t significantly impact the story, so feel free to pick the option you prefer.

Either way, you’ll be determined to find out if the rumor is true, so you’ll decide to meet with Murphy and see if he knows anything about it.

This will conclude Season 4 Chapter 2 of Quidditch. Hit the Collect button to claim your rewards. You will receive 400 Coins and 40 Dragon Club Experience Points.
Does Murphy know anything about the rumor? And will you be ready for your first house match of the season? Find out in the next chapter of Quidditch of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery!
Thank you for reading.
