(Disclaimer: Some of the tasks have different star requirements, depending on the Year you’re in. The following Walkthrough contains the images from Year 6, which pretty much has the highest requirements.)
Once you start the chapter, head to the Clocktower Courtyard to meet with Rath. When you arrive, you will get to interact with some of the characters and check out what they have to say to you. Rath will be surprised to see you arrive.
If you completed Rivalry, Respect, and Rath adventure, you will get some extra lines of dialogue.
Skye will then arrive, and she will ask Erika to give the two of you some space. Rath’s reaction will differ based on whether she’s your friend or not.
Either way, she will leave the Courtyard shortly after. Needless to say, Skye won’t be too happy seeing you talking to Rath, and she will openly be against you hanging out with Erika. You will ask her to give you a few moments to explain everything. This requires earning five stars within an hour. Only one star is needed to pass.
If you are looking to save some energy, you should earn a single star and let the timer expire. Based on the year you’re in, this can save up to 30 energy. Also, it’s worth mentioning that there are two bonus progress actions linked to your character.
Skye will be very reluctant to accept your explanation. Unfortunately, she won’t be willing to listen to reason.
She will then ask if winning the Quidditch Cup is more important than your friendships. She will react slightly better if you pick the first option, but nevertheless, this choice won’t have any significant impact on the story, so feel free to pick whichever one you prefer.
Next, Skye will tell you that your team captain wants to see you and the rest of your team in the Quidditch Changing Room. Proceed there when you are ready. Before talking to Orion, you’ll get to chat a bit with your other teammates. Your team captain will greet you warmly.
Murphy will start sharing some statistical data with you, and after getting a bunch of numbers thrown your way, you will ask McNully to get to the point.
Orion will kindly explain that not everyone shares Murphy’s enthusiasm for statistics.
Thankfully, Murphy is quite optimistic about your odds and he is willing to help you review some tactics for the upcoming Quidditch final. This requires earning five stars within three hours. Three stars are needed to pass.
There are bonus progress actions linked to Orion and Murphy. Focus on those if you are looking to save some energy.
Once he’s done, McNully will do a final statistical recap.
Orion will ask if you are ready for the upcoming match. There are three options to choose from. These won’t have any significant influence on the story, so feel free to take your pick.
You’ll then ask Skye if she can spare a moment of her time, but sadly, she will simply ignore you and walk by as if you didn’t exist. Shortly after, Orion will ask everyone to meet him at the pitch for a quick practice session. However, you will have to wait four hours until the practice starts. Since this chapter is not time-limited, it is recommended to wait until the timer expires.
Head to the Quidditch pitch once you’re able to continue. As you arrive, you will notice the speech bubbles above some of your teammates. You’ll approach Skye and ask if she could give you a moment of her time. You’ll try to smooth things out with her, but sadly, Skye won’t be willing to listen.
Before you could say anything else, Orion would gather everyone up. According to him, in order to defeat your opponents, you’ll have to match their speed.
Skye will quickly realize what Orion is planning.
You will then get to race with Skye. This requires earning five stars within eight hours. All five stars are needed to pass.
There are bonus progress actions linked to both Skye and you. This will make the task slightly easier to complete.
You will end up winning the race, and Orion will be quite happy about it.
As for Skye, she won’t seem to care.
Moments later, the practice will end, and before you leave, Orion will ask for a moment of your time. Apparently, he is concerned about you and Skye, and he’ll ask if you also share this concern. There are three options to reply with. If you like Skye, it is recommended to go with the third option. Otherwise, you can feel free to pick whichever one you prefer.
Some of the following lines of dialogue will differ based on whether or not you completed Rivalry, Respect, and Rath adventure.
Orion will then ask if you’d like to smooth things out with Skye before the final. There are three options to choose from. These won’t have any big impact on the story, so feel free to select the one you prefer.
You will point out the obvious fact.
Your team captain will advise you on how to deal with the situation.
You will thank him before leaving the pitch. Next, you’ll need to complete three Quidditch friendlies.
During these, you can play either Chaser or Beater.
As always, try your best to complete all of the maneuvers to earn the rewards.
When you are done, you’ll have to wait three hours before you can continue. Since this chapter is not time-limited, there’s no need to rush.
Once the waiting time is over, proceed to the Great Hall to meet with Penny. Upon arriving, you’ll be able to interact with some of the characters and check out what they have to say. Penny will be surprised that you are training so much for the upcoming match.
However, that’s not bothering you as much as the situation with Skye, so when Penny asks you to tell her the details, you’ll start explaining.
Sadly, you simply won’t know how to deal with the whole situation, but thankfully, your Hufflepuff friend will be more than willing to help. Getting advice from Penny requires earning five stars within three hours. Three stars are needed to pass.
There are bonus progress actions linked to both of you.
Penny will share her view on the whole thing with you.
She will ask if you agree with her. There are two options to choose from. These won’t affect the outcome of the story, so feel free to pick either one.
Penny will give you another piece of advice.
She will ask if you are ready to confront Skye. There are two response options. These won’t have any significant influence on the story, so feel free to pick the one you prefer.
You will thank Penny before leaving the Great Hall. Proceed to the Quidditch stands when you are ready to confront Skye. You will notice Skye sitting on the stands, studying.
She will coldly reply to you.
Thankfully, she will give you the opportunity to talk to her. If you like Skye, it is somewhat recommended to pick the first option.
Luckily, she will listen to reason and agree with you.
You will suggest talking about all the nice moments you shared in the past. This will be the first time in a while you’ll see her smiling. Recalling some of the nice moments you shared with Skye requires earning five stars within three hours. Only three stars are needed to pass.
There are bonus progress actions linked to Skye and her textbook. Prioritize these if you want to save some energy.
Skye will definitely appreciate you talking to her.
You will also be happy about it.
Once again, you will see her smile.
The following section will differ, based on whether or not you completed Rivalry, Respect, and Rath adventure. If you did, Erika will show up to inform you that your team is looking for you on the pitch. Otherwise, Orion will arrive.
In any case, Skye will get angry at you and leave the stands.
Unfortunately, you will have to think of a way to get through to her. Next, you will have to complete four Quidditch friendlies.
Since this is the last part of the chapter, simply take your time and complete these at your own pace.
When you are done, Quidditch Season 2 Chapter 10 will conclude. Hit the Collect button to claim your rewards. You will receive 50 Empathy Points and 200 Coins.
Will you be able to mend your relationship with Skye before the final match? Will she finally listen to reason? Find out in the next chapter of Quidditch for Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery!
