Walkthrough
(Disclaimer: Some of the tasks have different star requirements, depending on the Year you’re in. The following Walkthrough contains the images from Year 6, which pretty much has the highest requirements.)
Proceed to the Great Hall when you are ready. Upon arriving, you’ll be able to interact with some of the students and check out what they have to say. Murphy will ask if you’re in the mood for a round of wizard’s chess.

Unfortunately, you won’t really be up for it, especially after everything that happened with Skye. Also, the upcoming match for the Quidditch Cup isn’t making it any easier. Murphy will present some interesting statistical information to you.

Murphy will try to cheer you up in his own way, which will lift your spirits a bit. You’ll then decide to play a game of wizard’s chess with him. This requires earning five stars within an hour. Only one star is needed to pass.

Since there’s no waiting time before the next task, it is recommended to earn a single star and wait for the timer to expire. This way, you can save some valuable energy.

Unsurprisingly, Murphy will end up winning the game.

He’ll admit that being unpredictable helps him win.

Maybe that could help you sort things out with Skye?

He’ll then ask you a question about your team’s captain. There are three options to reply with. If you like Orion, it is recommended to pick the third option. Otherwise, feel free to choose whichever one you prefer.

Shortly after, you will decide to seek Orion and ask him for advice. Proceed to the Quidditch Pitch when you are ready. You can chat a bit with some of the students before meeting up with your team captain. Orion will be sad about the way things played out between you and Skye.

You’ll express your desire to talk to him about that, and thankfully, he’ll be up for it. Then, you’ll ask him about his previous advice, and your team captain will try to explain it.

Does this mean you should simply give up on Skye?

Thankfully, that’s not what Orion had in mind.

He’ll then want to hear your opinion on the matter. If you like Skye, it is somewhat recommended to pick the second or third option. Otherwise, you can feel free to go with whichever choice you want.

Orion will suggest finding balance between the two of you. This requires earning five stars within three hours. Three stars are needed to pass.

There are bonus progress actions linked to both Orion and your character, which will make this task a bit easier to complete.

Orion will suggest giving Skye some space, at least for the time being, while you focus on preparing for the final match. Shortly after, you will notice Penny and Andre approaching you, saying they arrived to watch your opponents’ practice.

Shortly after, Penny will suggest you should join them in the stands. You’ll have to complete two Quidditch friendlies before you can join your friends.

As always, select the position you prefer and hit Start to begin.

During these, try your best to complete all of the maneuvers to earn the rewards.

Once you are done, you’ll have to wait three hours before your opponents’ practice starts. Since this chapter is not time-limited, it is recommended to wait until the timer runs out.

Head to the Quidditch Stands once the waiting time is over. Penny will inform you that your opponents’ practice is about to start.

Andre will point out that your opponents are really fast.

This is when you’ll notice them flying by.

Your Hufflepuff friend will be impressed by their flying skills, and according to Andre, your opponents have a new team captain who seems to be responsible for most of their recent success. You’ll instantly notice a lot of improvement in their skills when Rath arrives and sits next to you. If you befriended her, you’ll smile and thank her for training you. Otherwise, she will simply say she arrived to observe the training, just like you.

Either way, Andre will cut your conversation short and ask you to pay attention to your opponents’ practice. Observing your opponents requires earning five stars within three hours. Three stars are needed to pass.

There are bonus progress actions tied to your character and Erika. Prioritize these if you want to save some energy.

Rath will say a few words before leaving the stands.

If the two of you are friends, you’ll get some extra lines of dialogue.

Penny will say some much-needed words of encouragement.

Andre will be a bit more realistic about the whole situation.

Penny will then ask you about your odds of winning the final match. There are two options to reply with. These won’t have any significant impact on the story, so feel free to pick either one.

Moments later, Madam Hooch will arrive, saying she wants to have a word with you. However, she will have to wait for a while, at least until you complete three Quidditch friendlies.

Once you are done with these, you will have to wait five hours until Madam Hooch is ready to speak with you. Simply wait until this timer runs out since the chapter is not time-limited.

Proceed to the Quidditch Changing Room once the waiting time is over. When you arrive, you will notice Skye being infuriated about something.

Orion will try to reason with her.

You’ll be curious to know what’s going on, and Madam Hooch will quickly explain everything.

She’ll then ask you to explain what’s going on with your house team.

Skye will disagree with your explanation, but Orion will once again try to calm her down.

Madam Hooch will also say a few words.

You’ll then get the opportunity to work things out with Skye. This requires earning five stars within three hours. Three stars are needed to pass.

The only bonus progress action here is tied to Madam Hooch. Focus on her actions if you want to save a bit of energy.

Once you’re done, Madam Hooch will tell you she expects good sportsmanship from all the Quidditch players, and all three of you will nod in approval. Shortly after, she’ll leave the changing room, followed by Skye, who also quickly leaves.

Orion won’t try to stop her.

You’ll question your team captain’s decision.

He’ll calmly explain that Skye will seek you out once she’s ready. He’ll then ask you about your opponents’ practice. You have two options to respond with. These options won’t have any big influence on the story, so feel free to pick either one.

Orion will thank you for sharing this information with him.

You’ll thank him for his kind words, and he’ll then ask you to join him for the last practice session before the final. Proceed to the Quidditch Pitch when you are ready. Upon arriving, you’ll get to interact with some of your teammates and check out what they have to say. Orion will gather everyone up and express his gratitude for all of his teammates.

As it seems, he wants all of you to mentally prepare for the final. He’ll also ask everyone to share their reasons for wanting to win the Quidditch Cup. This requires earning five stars within eight hours. All five stars are needed to pass.

There are bonus progress actions linked to your character and Skye. Prioritize these if you are looking to save some energy.

Skye will be the first one to share her reason for wanting the victory.

You’ll ask her to be more specific about it and she’ll explain it with a bit more details.

Orion will then ask you to share your motivations. There are three options to choose from. These will be referenced later on, but they won’t change the story significantly, so feel free to pick the option you prefer.

Orion will then congratulate everyone for achieving balance.

Before leaving the pitch, Skye will ask for a moment of your time. It looks like she was moved by your words.

Your previous choice will take effect here.

You’ll smile and give her a kind reply.

Skye will also say she needs time to forgive Rath for what happened during the previous season. If you are friends with Erika, Skye will admit that it hurts her.

However, she will see reason and say that you need to work as a team to win the Cup. Next, you’ll have to play two more Quidditch friendlies.

Once you’re done with those, Chapter 11 of Season 2 will conclude. Hit the Collect button to claim your reward. You will receive 200 Coins.
What will happen during the Quidditch Cup final? Will you be able to win? Find out in the next chapter of Quidditch for Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery!
