Chapter 4 – Style Seeker

Introduction

Hello everyone, welcome to our Walkthrough for Quidditch Season 4 Chapter 4 of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. During the previous chapter, you went to talk to Murphy about the rumor you heard about your opponents. Sadly, he couldn’t say with absolute certainty if the rumor is true. Since there was no way to confirm it, you decided to focus on the thing at hand—the upcoming house match. While practicing with your teammates, you noticed that many of them couldn’t focus on the training. You found out that they are worried about the rumor, so you helped them get back on track.

After the training, you attended the pre-match party, where you were interviewed by Rita Skeeter. You then went to the Quidditch Changing Room to prepare for the match. After vivifying the team, you and your teammates were ready to play the first house match.

Once the match was over, all of you went to the Three Broomsticks to talk about it. While you were there, Orion asked you to meet him in the courtyard to discuss your journey as the team’s captain, so proceed there when you are ready.

Proceed to the Courtyard when you are ready. Upon greeting Orion, you’ll ask him about what he wanted to discuss with you.

He’ll say that he promised to help guide you along the path to becoming a great captain, and since the season started, you’ve had the chance to deal with several difficult obstacles for the team.

You’ll agree with him, and he’ll mention that he noticed some fascinating patterns about your leadership style. You’ll ask him about it, and the two of you will then go over the choices you made as the team’s captain.

Discussing your path requires earning five stars within one hour. Three stars are needed to pass.

There are two bonus progress actions tied to your character. Prioritize those if you want to save a bit of energy.

When you are done, you’ll be curious to hear what Orion thinks about your leadership style, and he’ll say that you had to make some difficult decisions, prompting you to ask him to be a bit more specific. The following lines will differ based on some of the choices you made during the previous chapters.

Orion will wonder what kind of captain you’d like to be. There are two options to choose from. If you want to be cautious and wise, go with the first option. If you prefer to be swift and decisive, you should pick the second option.

You will ask Orion if there is anything else about your leadership style he wants to discuss with you. He will say that he wants to talk about the way you command the team. Some of the choices you made during the previous chapters will take effect here.

He will ask if you want to be a stern or a compassionate leader. If you think that being stern will help your team, you should go with the first option. If you want to be a compassionate leader, you should go with the second choice.

Orion will comment on your decision.

You’ll then decide to focus on developing your style as a Seeker, with Orion liking your idea and reminding you of what he and Murphy taught you at the start of the season.

You’ll figure out that Andre might be able to help you improve your style. If your character is a Ravenclaw, these lines will be slightly different.

You will need to wait three hours before Andre is ready to meet with you. Since you will likely be low on energy at this point, it is recommended to wait and let your energy recharge in the meantime.

Proceed to the Transfiguration classroom once the waiting time is over. Andre will be glad to see you. You’ll thank him for agreeing to meet with you and say that you need his help to improve your style as a Seeker.

Andre’s response will differ based on whether your character is a Ravenclaw or not.

Before helping you, Andre will ask you for some style advice, and you’ll be more than happy to help. He will say that he is working on a new outfit for a costume ball, and unfortunately, he’ll find it hard to decide which fabric to go with, so he’ll show you two fabrics he’s considering using.

You can choose the one you like the most.

Andre will thank you for your advice. With that being taken care of, the two of you will be able to talk about the Seeker style. To learn about the Seeker style, you will need to earn five stars within three hours. Three stars are needed to pass.

After hearing Andre out, you’ll admit you never realized how closely the style is related to being a great Seeker.

He’ll tell you that fans always expect to see something impressive from Seekers, and catching the Golden Snitch with style is one of the things that makes someone a great Seeker. According to him, Seekers have great freedom to express themselves, and all the legendary Seekers have their own signature styles and moves.

Andre will say that the possibilities are endless and suggest going to the library for some research, perhaps that will help you come up with a signature Seeker style.

Head to the library when you are ready to continue. Upon arriving, you will notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you are curious to see what they have to say. You’ll notice that Andre already prepared some magazines.

He will tell you that he is reading Seeker Weekly. Apparently, you can find a lot of interesting things about the world’s best Seekers in it. According to Andre, studying those magazines should help you develop your signature style as a Seeker.

Studying famous Seekers requires earning five stars within three hours. Three stars are needed to pass.

There are bonus progress actions tied to Andre and the magazines. Focus on those if you want to save energy.

After going through the magazines, Andre will ask if there are any styles you find interesting, to which you’ll respond that most of the famous Seekers fall under one of two categories: some have a brash and theatrical signature style, while others are more suave and understated.

That will remind Andre of the fabric he was working with.

He’ll ask which signature Seeker style you prefer. This choice will affect some of the dialogue lines, but it won’t heavily impact the story, so feel free to pick the option you prefer.

After you choose a signature style, Andre will say that he wants to put your attitude into action. He’ll tell you to meet him at the Quidditch pitch. Apparently, he is planning to teach you a new move. These lines will be affected by your previous choice.

You will need to wait four hours before you can continue. Since this chapter is not time-limited, it is recommended to wait until the timer runs out.

Proceed to the Quidditch pitch once the waiting time is over. Once you arrive, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of your teammates. Tap on those if you are curious to see what they have to say. Andre will be happy to see you. Your previous choice will take effect here.

You’ll ask him about the move he is planning to teach you, to which he will say that he wants to teach you a move that combines two of his favorite things – Quidditch and clothing, leaving you slightly surprised to hear that.

By the looks of it, you will be learning a move called the Plumpton Pass.

If you’ve completed Flume’s Clues adventure, you will get some additional lines of dialogue here.

You’ll ask Andre to tell you more about the Plumpton Pass, and he will explain that all you need to do is catch the Golden Snitch with your sleeve. However, executing that maneuver is far from easy. Skye will tell you to grab your broomstick and start practicing.

To learn the Plumpton Pass, you will need to earn five stars within eight hours. All five stars are needed to pass.

There is a bonus progress action tied to Andre. Prioritize it whenever it is available to save energy.

After practicing for a while, you will spot the Golden Snitch heading towards you, and Andre will tell you to try catching it with your sleeve. You will fly towards the snitch and successfully catch it using your sleeve.

Andre will congratulate you on executing the perfect Plumpton Pass and be impressed by your display of skill. He’ll admit that it took him months to execute that maneuver.

You’ll thank him for his kind words and admit that pulling off the maneuver while practicing is a lot easier than in the middle of a high-pressure match. In other words, you’ll need to practice a lot before you can play it against your opponents. Andre will chuckle and say that neither of you knows if the rumor is true.

Moments later, Face Paint Kid will show up and say that the rumor is true.

You’ll ask him about it, and he will tell you that your opponent’s secret weapon has just arrived at Hogwarts. You will wonder how he knows about that, and he’ll tell you to meet him at the training grounds and see for yourself. You will decide to finish practicing before going there.

You’ll need to complete three Quidditch friendlies before you can continue.

While playing these, you can feel free to select any position you prefer. However, since you’ll be playing Seeker during the house matches, you might as well practice it to prepare for them.

Try your best to successfully complete all the maneuvers to earn rewards.

Once you are done, head to the training grounds to meet Face Paint Kid. When you arrive, you will notice a lot of people there, so you’ll ask Face Paint Kid about it, and he’ll tell you that everyone at Hogwarts is eager to see the secret weapon of your opponents.

You will decide to take a look and see for yourself.

You’ll spot two twins training together and realize that they are your opponents’ secret weapon.

Since this will be the first time you see them, you’ll wonder who they are. According to Face Paint Kid, they are new transfer students, and they will play Quidditch for your opponents.

You’ll notice that they are quite skilled when it comes to Quidditch.

The crowd will cheer loudly while observing their training.

Face Paint Kid will ask what you think of the twins. There are two options to reply with. This choice won’t significantly impact the story, so feel free to go with either option.

You’ll ask Face Paint Kid if he knows anything else about the twins, but unfortunately, he won’t be able to tell you anything about them. You’ll decide to ask around and see if anyone knows something about them.

Talking to the crowd requires earning five stars within three hours. All five stars are needed to pass, so avoid starting this task if you are low on energy.

Be sure to slide the screen left and right to see all the available actions. There are bonus progress actions tied to Skye and the Opposing Chaser. Prioritize those if you want to save some energy.

When you are done asking around, Skye will tell you she might have some information for you.

However, she will ask you to meet her somewhere else, away from others.

You’ll suggest meeting in the courtyard.

This will mark the end of Season 4 Chapter 4 of Quidditch. Hit the Collect button to claim your rewards. You will receive 400 Coins and 40 Dragon Club Experience Points.

From now on, you will be able to use the Plumpton Pass maneuver while playing Quidditch as a Seeker.
