Proceed to the Interrogation Room when you are ready. When you arrive, you will advise Jacob to stay calm and focused during Verucca’s interrogation, ensuring he doesn’t let her provoke him. You will remind him to stick closely to the planned questioning strategy to avoid losing control of the situation and ensure the interrogation remains productive. This line will differ based on your previous choice.

Of course, Verruca will greet you in her own unique, taunting way.

(Some lines of dialogue will differ depending on the approach you chose, but that has no effect on the story. ) You will remind Verruca that both she and Rakepick deserve to be in Azkaban for their wrongdoings.

To interrogate Verucca, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. All five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

Bonus progress actions are tied to Verucca and your character. Prioritize these actions to save some energy.

You will discover that Verruca was in Hogsmeade and was actually the missing ingredient who restored Jacob’s sight. However, she refuses to explain her reasons for doing so. Despite your efforts to get her to finish the story, she will decline to provide more details.

Shortly after, Jacob will press Verruca for more information and Verruca will ask if your statement is a threat, challenging you with her usual defiance. There are two different options to choose from. Both of them will eventually lead to the same outcome, so feel free to take your pick.

screenshot (1337)

In any case, Mad-Eye will interrupt the interrogation, realizing that Verruca is just playing games with you. Verruca will then taunt you, saying that you’ve been asking the wrong questions. Instead of asking “how,” she advises you to ask “who,” hinting that someone else has helped her.

You’ll need to wait three hours before you can continue.

Go to the Ministry of Magic to continue the story. Upon arriving, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you’re curious to see what they have to say. You will thank Mad-Eye for his help and for coming with you to Azkaban. He’ll respond by saying that you could have gotten more answers if you hadn’t let Verruca get under your skin. This line will differ based on your previous choice.

screenshot (1340)

Following that, you’ll begin brainstorming with Mad-Eye about who could have possibly helped Verruca escape Azkaban for a brief period. To complete the next task, you need to earn five stars within three hours. Three stars are required to pass.

screenshot (1341)

Bonus progress actions are tied to Jacob and your character. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. Slide the screen left and right to check all available actions.

screenshot (1342)

You’ll remark on the intriguing fact that the person who helped Verruca also aimed to assist Jacob in regaining his sight and breaking the curse. As you discuss this, Olivia will appear, asking how your visit to Azkaban went.

screenshot (1343)
screenshot (1344)

You’ll also mention that Verucca was the missing ingredient needed to break Jacob’s curse, adding that she left you quite confused when she said someone you know well helped her escape. Following that, Jacob and Olivia will leave, and Mad-Eye will observe that Jacob’s behavior changes when Olivia arrives, prompting him to ask about it.

There are three different options to choose from. These options will influence some dialogue that will follow, but they won’t impact the story.

screenshot (1345)

Shortly after, you’ll decide to head back to work, specifically to the fountain.

screenshot (1346)

Go to the Washington Square Park to continue the story. When you arrive at the fountain, you will be determined to test its magic and make a wish using wizarding money. However, Ben will appear and insist on sharing what has happened to him at work since he took your advice.

screenshot (1348)

To discover Ben’s work situation, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. All five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

Bonus progress actions are tied to the pigeons, your character, and Ben. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. Slide the screen left and right to check all available actions.

screenshot (1351)

It will sound like things have improved for Ben at work. This line will differ based on your previous choice.

screenshot (1352)

He will mention that, unfortunately, the pressure is still mounting and that everyone looks to him to solve every problem. He will add that he feels very desperate and is even considering wishing for fewer work responsibilities, asking for your opinion on that. It is recommended to choose the second option.

screenshot (1353)

After a few moments, when Ben makes his wish, an owl will deliver a letter to him.

These lines will differ based on your previous choice.

screenshot (1357)

Now that you have confirmed your assertion that the wishing fountain grants wishes in reverse, you decide to visit Vega immediately to share your findings with her.

screenshot (1358)

Proceed to the ROCC Division when you are ready. Upon arriving, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you’re curious to see what they have to say. When you arrive, you’ll notice a small crowd gathered around Vega, listening intently as she recounts her adventurous tales. You’ll politely interrupt her, apologizing for the disruption. Understanding that you have something important to share, she will pause her storytelling to hear what you have to say.

screenshot (1359)

You’ll tell Vega that you’ve tested your theory about the fountain but are unsure how to break the curse. She’ll suggest that the spell “Finite” might be an option, but will also remind you that there are always more ways to approach a problem. Vega will then ask you to listen carefully as she offers her thoughts on possible solutions.

screenshot (1360)

To get Vega’s advice, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. All five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

screenshot (1361)

Bonus progress actions are tied to the agents next to your character, Vega, and your character. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. Slide the screen left and right to check all available actions.

screenshot (1362)

Vega will explain that she always tries to solve problems without relying on magic first, which will hint at a deeper meaning. Realizing this, you understand there’s likely an underlying message in her words. Following this, she will ask you, after hearing her perspective, whose viewpoint you think would be most beneficial for resolving the situation.

There are three different options to choose from. These options will influence some dialogue that will follow, but they won’t impact the story.

screenshot (1363)

After that, Vega will suggest that you take some time to rest while she continues her storytelling with the agents, sharing tales of her adventures. This allows you to reflect on the day’s events and consider how to approach the next steps with a fresh perspective.

screenshot (1364)

You’ll need to wait four hours before you can continue.

screenshot (1365)

Go to the Flat to continue the story. When you arrive, you’ll start chatting with Ruby about your day, sharing how things unfolded. However, you’ll soon notice that she’s particularly excited, and she’ll comment that she even made a new friend at work.

screenshot (1366)
screenshot (1367)

To learn about Ruby’s friend, you need to earn five stars within three hours. Three stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

screenshot (1368)

Bonus progress actions are tied to Ruby and your character. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. Slide the screen left and right to check all available actions.

screenshot (1369)

You’ll learn that Ruby’s new friend has a lot of attitude and confidence, often criticizing others, but is also quite funny. Instantly, the first person that comes to mind is none other than Merula Snyde, and, of course, you are right. There are three options to choose from. If you like Merula, it is recommended to pick the second option.

screenshot (1370)

Following that, you’ll tell Ruby that Merula was at Hogwarts with you and is known for being cunning. If Ruby slips even slightly while maintaining her undercover persona, Merula will easily see through her.

You’ll warn Ruby that if she plans to spend more time with Merula, she’ll need to be an entirely convincing Pepper Copperbottom. Ruby will then mention that they spent the entire day together without Merula suspecting anything and will ask if you don’t trust her to handle Merula. There are two different options to choose from. These options will influence some dialogue that will follow, but they won’t impact the story.

screenshot (1371)

You’ll then suggest that you should take a rest since you have a meeting with Flump scheduled for the next day. These lines will differ based on your previous choice.

screenshot (1372)
screenshot (1373)

You will also mention that you need to update Flump on your case. (In case you wanted to hear Ruby’s opinion on the previous choice, you’ll ask Ruby whether you should use magic to solve the case or find another way. She will quickly advise you to finish the case promptly and use magic, especially since you have the opportunity.)

screenshot (1374)

Now that you have completed the story, you can start the mandatory and optional chapter tasks. You need to complete one mandatory chapter task and two optional chapter tasks to unlock the next chapter. When you complete three tasks, the fourth one that is left will disappear.

Go to your Three Broomsticks to start the mandatory chapter task. You will meet up with Penny, who will suggest that you catch up with your friends from Hogwarts.

screenshot (1375)

You’ll need to complete several objectives to finish this mandatory chapter task. Feel free to do them in any order you prefer.
