Chapter 9 – Lost and Found

Hello everyone, welcome to our Walkthrough for Quidditch Season 4 Chapter 9 of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. During the previous chapter, you learned that your team is going to face Rath in the second house match of the season. You did your best to prepare for the match, and eventually, you faced Erika and her teammates.

Now is the time to continue where you left off. When you start the chapter, Murphy will ask you to meet him in the Commentary Box, so proceed there when you are ready. Murphy will comment on the results of the second house match.

In any case, you will need to work hard to win against the Wellnelly twins. Apparently, that is the reason why Murphy wanted to meet with you. He’ll tell you about very rare Seeker equipment that went missing at Hogwarts long ago.

He will suggest teaming up and searching for the lost equipment.

Still, you will wonder how he found out about the lost Seeker equipment. As it turns out, the person who lost the equipment is none other than Badger Picklish III.

You’ll happily greet him. These lines will differ if this is your first time meeting Badger.

Murphy will tell him that the two of you want to look for his lost Seeker equipment. He’ll tell you that many others tried to find his equipment before. You will then get to learn how he lost his Seeker equipment. You need to earn five stars within three hours to complete this task. Three stars are needed to pass.

There are bonus progress actions tied to Murphy and Badger. Focus on those actions to save energy.

You’ll learn that Badger misplaced his equipment the night before the 1927 Quidditch Cup.

He’ll also tell you he had his equipment in the Artefact Room. You will thank him for the information. Before you leave, Badger will ask you to bring back the equipment if you manage to find it.

Go to the Artefact Room when you are ready to continue. When you arrive, you’ll see that Murphy has been searching the place for a while. Sadly, he didn’t have any luck with his search.

Moments later, Peeves will show up and say that he was the one who stole the equipment. You’ll learn that he stashed the equipment in the Gryffindor Common Room, but it wasn’t there the next time he checked.

Instead, all he found was a note.

Murphy and you will need to figure out who was the one who left the note. You need to earn five stars within three hours to complete this task. Three stars are needed to pass.

There are bonus progress actions tied to Murphy, Peeves, and your character. Prioritizing those actions should save you some energy.

In the end, you will figure out that the initials M.M. could stand for Minerva McGonagall. According to Murphy, it is highly likely she was the one who found the lost equipment.

He’ll ask if you think she had something to do with it. This choice will take effect later on, but it won’t significantly change the story, so feel free to pick the option you prefer.

In any case, you’ll decide to visit Professor McGonagall and ask if she knows anything about the missing equipment.

You’ll need to wait three hours before you can continue. Since you will likely be low on energy at this point, it is recommended to wait and let your energy recharge in the meantime.

Go to the Transfiguration classroom once the waiting time is over. Professor McGonagall will be surprised to see Murphy and you.

You’ll say that you have an unusual question for her.

You will ask her about the lost Quidditch equipment.

Professor McGonagall will admit that your question is an unusual one.

She’ll decide to tell you what she knows about the lost Quidditch equipment. To learn what McGonagall knows, you need to earn five stars within three hours. Three stars are required to pass.

There are bonus progress actions linked to Professor McGonagall. Prioritize them to save energy.

Professor McGonagall will explain how she found the equipment.

Unfortunately, she was unable to find its owner.

Your previous choice will take effect here.

You’ll say that Peeves stole the equipment from Badger Picklish III just before the Quidditch Cup match of 1927.

You’ll realize that the equipment really gave Badger an advantage. Professor McGonagall will ask you an interesting question. There are two options to reply with. This choice won’t significantly impact the story, so feel free to pick the option you prefer.

You’ll ask Professor McGonagall if she knows what happened to the equipment. She will say that a Red Cap stole it while she was collecting Wiggentree bark in the Forbidden Forest. You’ll decide to search the Red Cap’s hole and see if the equipment is still there.

Murphy will suggest you brush up on your Beater skills.

You’ll like his idea.

You will need to complete three Quidditch friendlies before you can continue. Feel free to pick any position you prefer while playing those.

Head to the Red Cap’s hole when you are done. Murphy will admit he is quite nervous. He’ll ask if you feel the same. There are two options to reply with. This choice won’t significantly impact the story, so feel free to pick either option.

Shortly after, Murphy and you will start looking for the lost equipment. Searching the Red Cap’s hole is your next task. You need to earn five stars within eight hours to complete it. All five stars are required to pass.

Be sure to slide the screen left and right to see all the available actions. There are bonus progress actions tied to your character and the mirror. Focus on those actions to save energy.

When you are done, you will notice something under a nearby rock.

Trace the wand movement to cast Wingardium Leviosa.

The spell will work, and you’ll find the equipment under the rock.

Suddenly, you’ll notice the Red Cap standing behind you. He won’t be happy to see you.

You’ll quickly take out your Beater’s bat and deal with the creature.

This will work, and the Red Cap will be forced to flee.

You’ll decide to bring back the equipment to Badger.

There is a waiting period of four hours before you can continue.

Head to the Quidditch Changing Room once the waiting time is over. You’ll tell Badger you found his lost equipment. Needless to say, he’ll be happy to see it again.

You will say that the equipment was stolen by Peeves. Badger will thank you for solving the mystery. He’ll then tell you how to use the equipment.

Learning how to use the gear is your next task. You need to earn five stars within three hours to complete it. All five stars are required to pass, so avoid starting this task if you are low on energy.

There is a bonus progress action tied to Badger. Prioritize it to save energy.

You’ll thank Badger for teaching you how to use the equipment. He will say that seeing the equipment again brings back many thrilling memories, and now it is your turn to make new memories. There are two options to reply with. Feel free to pick the one you prefer.

Badger will wish you good luck before disappearing.

Murphy will be glad about the outcome of this adventure.

You’ll decide to meet with your teammates and show off your new Seeker equipment.

This will mark the end of Season 4 Chapter 9 of Quidditch. Hit the Collect button to claim your rewards. You will receive 400 Coins and 40 Dragon Club Experience Points.

From now on, the Seeker gear will be usable in Quidditch.
