Christmas Spirits Part 3 & 4
Introduction
Hello everyone, welcome to our Walkthrough section for the Christmas Spirits Adventure of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery! In the previous part, you helped bring the Hogwarts ghosts back into the Christmas spirit. You convinced Professor Binns and Moaning Myrtle to see the value in celebrating alongside the living, and with clever reasoning and a little help from Penny, you finally persuaded the reluctant Bloody Baron to join in. Thanks to your efforts, the ghosts and students are now ready to share in the holiday festivities, blending tradition with the excitement of the present.

You’ll need to wait three hours before you can continue. Since this chapter is not time-limited, it is recommended to wait until this timer runs out.

Head to The Great Hall once the waiting time is over. Upon arriving, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you’re curious to see what they have to say.
When you arrive, you will share the wonderful news that Professor Binns, Moaning Myrtle, and the Bloody Baron are all planning to celebrate Christmas with everyone.
Penny and Sir Nicholas will be delighted to hear this. You will then ask Sir Nicholas to reveal his plan for Christmas. He will agree and explain that his idea was to exchange gifts, as everyone loves presents—for example, fancy gravestones, rotten fish, only the very best for his dear friends.
However, you will point out that those gifts don’t sound like the best options for the living. Gifts like those might be perfect for a ghost, but not so much for a living person. Together, the three of you will decide to adjust the plan so it suits both the living and the dead alike.
To workshop the big plan, you need to earn five stars within three hours. The five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

The bonus progress actions are tied to Penny. Prioritize these actions to save some energy.

The plan is for everyone to work together. The ghosts can guide you on how to wrap gifts to their liking. This way, they can take part in gift wrapping and giving presents to the living, even if they can’t physically touch the gifts.
It will be a wonderful way to foster fun and cooperation between the living and the ghosts. Nicholas has also gotten a sense of what the living might enjoy as gifts—a stuffed Puffskein doll, a comfy and fashionable jumper, and a good book. He will then ask if you had to pick between the gifts, would you choose the doll, the jumper, or the book.
There are three different options to choose from. All of them will eventually lead to the same outcome, so feel free to take your pick.

Next, you will decide that Nicholas should go invite Professor Binns while you take on the task of calling Myrtle and the Baron. You’ll also spread the word, making sure everything is ready for the gift-wrapping party so that everyone can join in smoothly.
Go to the Prefect Room to continue the story. When you reach Myrtle, you’ll present your plan for the gift-wrapping party. She will find it intriguing, but the problem is that Myrtle last experienced Christmas back in 1942, so she won’t know what to expect. Your task will be to catch her up on modern Christmas traditions, adding that she’ll be surprised at how many things have remained unchanged over the years.

Myrtle will find it a bit easier to follow along and will become very excited about Christmas. She will then ask you what you think is the most important thing about a gift.
There are three different options to choose from. These options will influence some dialogue that will follow, but they won’t impact the story.

She will then thank you, and you will decide that it’s time to visit the Bloody Baron again. The location of the next task will depend on whether you are a Slytherin or not: if you are, you will go to the Slytherin common room; if not, you will head to the Potions classroom to meet the Bloody Baron. The story will remain the same regardless of the location.
Proceed to the Potions Classroom when you are ready. When you arrive, you will tell the Baron that you’ve come to invite him to Sir Nick’s gift-wrapping party. However, he will respond that this tradition of gift-giving is a rather heinous part of Christmas.
He will add that his relationship with gift-giving is complicated and that in his time, gift-giving was anything but joyful. You will realize that the Bloody Baron still has his own reservations, so it will be necessary to persuade him once again. Without wasting any time, you will get straight to work.
To convince the Baron, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. Three stars are required to pass.

Bonus progress actions are tied to Bloody Baron and your character. Prioritize these actions to save some energy.

The Bloody Baron will understand what you are talking about, and then you will ask whom you should give gifts to, just the ghosts, or perhaps only the Slytherins. The recommended option is the third one.

He won’t agree immediately and will remain reserved, but you will hope that he will join, wish him a Merry Christmas, and then decide to return to start planning the gift-wrapping party.
This will mark the end of Part 3 of Christmas Spirits Adventure. Hit the Collect button to claim your reward. You will receive 3 Gems.
Part 4
You’ll need to wait three hours before you can continue. Since this chapter is not time-limited, it is recommended to wait until this timer runs out.

Head to Clocktower Courtyard once the waiting time is over. Upon arriving, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you’re curious to see what they have to say.
When you arrive, you will tell everyone that Moaning Myrtle and the Bloody Baron are both coming to our gift-wrapping party, and Sir Nicholas will add that Professor Binns will also join.
Since everyone needed a little convincing, Sir Nicholas will then ask which of the three ghosts you enjoyed talking with the most.
There are three different options to choose from. These options will influence some dialogue that will follow, but they won’t impact the story.

You will notice that Sir Nicholas seems a little sad, as he is troubled by a problem. You will suggest that he tell you what’s bothering him.

It turns out the problem is that Nicholas doesn’t have any gift-wrapping supplies. You come up with the idea that Filch probably has some in his office, and you decide to go talk to him.
Go to the Filch Office to continue the story. You will ask Filch for gift-wrapping supplies, but he will respond that students should handle party supplies on their own and that he’s in no rush to subsidize your Christmas plans.
You’ll explain that this gift-wrapping party isn’t just for students, but for the Hogwarts ghosts as well. Filch then will challenge you, saying that first you demand handouts, and now you’re not even going to use them on the living. He will also ask for a good reason why he shouldn’t kick you and your entitled attitude out of his office.
There are three different options to choose from. All of them will eventually lead to the same outcome, so feel free to take your pick.

Filch still intends to kick you out, but fortunately, Professor McGonagall will enter his office. She will explain that she has heard word of your good deeds regarding the Hogwarts ghosts and wanted to personally thank you, offering any aid she can in support of your plan with Sir Nicholas.
You’ll thank her and ask for her help, explaining why you came to Filch. She will understand immediately and then will instruct Filch to provide the supplies without delay. He’ll agree but warn that you’ll need to help him find them, as he isn’t sure where he left them, so you all set off to get to work right away.
To find the supplies, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. The five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

Fortunately, you will gather everything you need. You will warmly thank Professor McGonagall for her help and invite her to join the party. She will graciously appreciate the invitation but will explain that there is still much preparation required for the upcoming Christmas celebrations at Hogwarts.
She will promise to see you later and wish you an enjoyable time at the party. Feeling excited, you will realize that the moment has finally arrived, and you will make your way to the Great Hall without delay.

Sir Nicholas will then curiously ask what exactly the Christmas spirit is.

After a brief conversation, you will wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a lovely time for the rest of the evening.
