Proceed to the Open Ocean when you are ready. When you arrive, Hagrid will say that his friend Sal Grimstone has recently adopted a Ramora, but it needs a bit of help. Hagrid will mention that you also have a Ramora, so together you can assist Sal, which you agree to do. You will then suggest taking some time to study your own Ramora to learn more about her.
To learn about Ramoras, you need to earn five stars within three hours. Three stars are required to pass.

Bonus progress actions are tied to Hagrid and your character. Prioritize these actions to save some energy.

Next, Hagrid will quiz you and ask how Ramoras help seafarers. The correct answer is that they anchor ships in place.

After that, you will decide to go to the Black Lake and wait there for Sal and his Ramora.
Go to Lakeshore to continue the story. When you arrive, you will see that Sal is already there. If you had met Sal earlier, you will get additional dialogue lines for introductions. In any case, Sal will say that he is glad to see you, though you will find it strange that you are at the Black Lake since Ramoras are saltwater creatures.
He will agree but add that his Ramora is quite special and enjoys being in fresh water. He will also mention that it is rather mischievous and doesn’t know basic skills like anchoring boats. Then he will begin to tell you the story of how he adopted this Ramora.
To listen to Sal’s story, you need to earn five stars within one hour. The five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

Bonus progress actions are tied to Sal and Hagrid. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. Slide the screen left and right to check all available actions.

You will learn that Sal found the orphaned Ramora alone and confused, and he rescued it! However, he hasn’t given it a name yet. He will say that his three options for naming the Ramora are Bubbles, Finn, or Salty. Choose the name you like the most to give to the Ramora.

Next, you will decide to arrange a meeting with your Ramora so that the two of them can bond and learn everything they need. But before that, you need to check if your Ramora is in the mood for it.

Proceed to the Open Ocean when you are ready. Upon arriving, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you’re curious to see what they have to say.
When you return to your Ramora, you’ll notice that yours is older and much more experienced than Sal’s. The question now is whether your Ramora can teach the other one. To find out, you’ll need to test your Ramora’s ability to anchor a boat—but how can you do that without an actual boat?

You and Hagrid will agree that you should probably come up with a command to call out when you want the Ramora to anchor the boat. Hagrid will then ask what you want to name the command—choose the one you like best.

Shortly after, you will begin training your Ramora to anchor boats on command. To train your Ramora, you need to earn five stars within three hours. Three stars are required to pass.

The bonus progress actions are tied to Hagrid. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. Slide the screen left and right to check all available actions.

Your Ramora has successfully learned the command. You will then decide to ask Sal if you can have a meet-up here with both of your Ramoras.

To move on to the next part, you will need to earn five stars in any of the tasks from the task list.

This will mark the end of Part 1 of Fishing For Friends Adventure. Hit the Collect button to claim your reward. You will receive 200 Coins.
