Proceed to Hagrid’s Garden when you are ready. When you arrive, you’ll find Hagrid in trouble — his pumpkins are on fire, and poor Fang is terrified. Without hesitation, you’ll decide to take charge and handle the flames yourself.
To put out the fire, you need to earn five stars within three hours. Three stars are required to pass.

Bonus progress actions are tied to Firedrake and your character. Prioritize these actions to save some energy.

After a short while, you’ll successfully put out the fire. Hagrid will be extremely grateful and add that he thinks your Firedrake might’ve been responsible for fires like this. He’ll apologize for suspecting you, saying he’s just worried because something’s been starting fires all over the Hogwarts grounds lately.
Then, he’ll ask if you believe your Firedrake could really have started the fire. There are three different options to choose from. These options will influence some dialogue that will follow, but they won’t impact the story.

In any case, you’ll assure Hagrid that you’re certain your creature didn’t cause this fire. However, you’ll promise to keep a close eye on your Firedrake, just in case you notice anything unusual.
Hagrid will suggest that you should learn a spell that could help you put out fires more effectively. Some of his lines will differ depending on whether you already know Aguamenti or the Extinguishing Charm. In any case, you’ll decide to meet up with Ben to practice Charms together, making sure that next time you’ll have the perfect spell ready to control any blaze.
Go to the Open Ocean to continue the story. When you arrive, you’ll thank Ben for agreeing to help you practice. His dialogue lines will vary slightly depending on which year you’re in and which spells you already know — or haven’t learned yet.
Then, you’ll explain the problem to Ben, and he’ll suggest that the best Charm you can use is the Extinguishing Spell. If you haven’t learned it yet, he’ll teach it to you — and if you already know it, the two of you will practice it together.

To learn and practice, you need to earn five stars within three hours. Three stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

The bonus progress actions are tied to Ben. Prioritize these actions to save some energy.

Trace the wand movement to cast the Extinguishing Spell.

Ben will then ask how confident you feel about your ability to handle sudden brush fires now. There are three different options to choose from. All of them will eventually lead to the same outcome, so feel free to take your pick.

However, while you’re talking, your Firedrake will suddenly take off somewhere, prompting you to follow it — after all, you promised Hagrid you’d keep a close eye on it.
Go to Forest Lake to continue the story. You’ll spot Hagrid near the shoreline, who will mention that a Firedrake just passed by. However, Hagrid will quickly realize that this isn’t your Firedrake, but some other creature entirely.

When you take a closer look around, you’ll actually spot an entire family of Firedrakes in a nearby tree, and it seems your Firedrake is related to them and has come to visit. This could explain the fires that have erupted around the Hogwarts grounds, though not for certain.
Hagrid will add that Firedrakes aren’t native to this area, and he doesn’t know how they got into the Forbidden Forest. You’ll suggest searching the area for clues, and he will agree that it’s a good idea, so you begin right away.
To investigate the firedrake, you need to earn five stars within three hours. The five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

Bonus progress actions are tied to the firedrake and Hagrid. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. Slide the screen left and right to check all available actions.

You’ll realize that these three Firedrakes could be your creature’s mum, dad, and sister. Then you notice something else—one of the Firedrakes has a band on its leg. Upon removing the band, you find writing that says Property of the Circus Arcanus.
Hagrid will say he has mixed feelings about magical creatures being used for entertainment and will ask for your opinion.
There are three different options to choose from. These options will influence some dialogue that will follow, but they won’t impact the story.

You’ll wonder if your Firedrake family really did flee from a circus—then they must not have been happy there. You’ll decide to investigate the Circus Arcanus and see if you can find some answers.
You’ll also need to determine whether these Firedrakes are behind the recent fires.
While you’re discussing this, a flame suddenly appears nearby. Hagrid will warn that you need to extinguish it quickly before it spreads through the forest. Trace your wand movement carefully to put out the fire.

Hagrid will then add that he is now certain these Firedrakes are responsible for the fires. You’ll decide to relocate them to your magical creature reserve, specifically the open ocean reserve.
However, moving the Firedrakes safely and humanely won’t be easy, and Hagrid will suggest there might be a spell that could help. He will tell you to research a spell that could assist in the task, and while you work on that, he will feed the Firedrakes.

But before continuing with the story tasks and Part 2, we need to gather food for the baby Firedrakes. Head to the reserve garden and complete the Earn Full Stars Gathering Creature Food task. As usual, prioritize actions that give bonus progress to conserve energy.

This will mark the end of Part 1 of the Flying Sparks Adventure. Hit the Collect button to claim your reward. You will receive 200 Coins.
Part 1 ends with a sense of accomplishment and new responsibilities. You successfully put out the fire, discovered the Firedrake family, and learned about their journey from the Circus Arcanus to the Hogwarts reserve.
Hagrid trusts you, and you’ve shown that you can care for magical creatures and make thoughtful decisions. Ahead lies the challenge of safely relocating them and continuing your investigation, making the next part of the adventure even more exciting.
Thank you for reading.
