Flying Sparks Part 2 & 3

Introduction

Hello everyone, welcome to our Walkthrough section for the Flying Sparks of Harry Potter Part 2 & 3. In the previous part, what started as a simple visit to Hagrid quickly turned into a mystery of spreading fires and unexpected discoveries. After helping extinguish the blaze by his pumpkin patch, you learned that your own Firedrake wasn’t the one causing trouble. Instead, you uncovered something far more surprising — a whole family of Firedrakes living nearby, wearing a band marked “Property of the Circus Arcanus.”

Now that you know they’re far from home and possibly behind the fires, a new responsibility falls on you. Hagrid is counting on you to find a safe way to move them to the open ocean reserve and uncover how they ended up in the Forbidden Forest. With new clues, new questions, and a spell to research, your adventure continues.

Depending on whether you’ve already learned the Ebublio Jinx, your first task in Part 2 will play out slightly differently in terms of dialogue. Don’t worry — none of these variations affect the story in any way.

Proceed to the Library when you are ready. When you arrive, you’ll thank Penny and Ben for agreeing to help. You explain that the Firedrake family can’t stay where they are — the sparks from their tails are starting fires all over Hogwarts, and you need to find a safe, humane way to move them to the Magical Creature Reserve.

Penny will say that there might be a spell that could help, and that she and Ben gathered every spellbook they could find.

You’ll mention the band you removed from one of the Firedrakes’ legs — the one marked Property of the Circus Arcanus — and note that researching that lead might help you understand where the Firedrakes originally came from.

With that settled, you’ll suggest diving into the spellbooks and starting your research right away. To research solutions, you need to earn five stars within three hours. The five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

Bonus progress actions are tied to Penny and the books. Prioritize these actions to save some energy.

After going through the gathered spellbooks, you’ll identify three possible methods for moving the Firedrakes to the Magical Creature Reserve: the Levitation Charm, Apparition, and the Ebublio Jinx. The correct answer is “Ebublio Jinx”.

You’ll settle on the Ebublio Jinx as the best method — moving the Firedrakes in bubbles will be humane, practical, and safe.

Still, Hagrid will want to make sure the little creatures won’t become distressed while being contained, and you’ll also need to confirm that their sparks won’t pop the bubbles. To be certain everything goes smoothly, you’ll decide it’s best to ask Professor Flitwick for help.

Go to the Training Grounds to continue the story. You’ll thank Professor Flitwick for agreeing to help, and he’ll add that Ebublio is not a simple spell, but he’ll be happy to teach it to you, and that your Firedrake will be your test subject for today. Then Hagrid will turn to you and ask how you think your Firedrake will react to being in a bubble.

There are two different options to choose from. Both of them will eventually lead to the same outcome, so feel free to take your pick.

Shortly after, you’ll begin the Ebublio Jinx lesson. To practice Ebublio, you need to earn five stars within three hours. The five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

You’ll thank Professor Flitwick, and he’ll suggest that you try casting the Ebublio Jinx on your Firedrake right away. You’ll carefully trace the wand movements, focusing on precision to ensure the spell works correctly and safely.

Once you’ve successfully completed the task, Hagrid will turn to you and ask how you feel now that the Firedrakes are safely contained in magical bubbles. There are three different options to choose from. These options will influence some dialogue that will follow, but they won’t impact the story.

Following that, Hagrid will say that he’ll now take over transporting the Firedrakes, giving you a chance to rest a bit and to return to Hogwarts.

To continue to Part 3, you need to earn 5 stars in any Project. Once you’ve done that, you can move on to Part 3.

This will mark the end of Part 2 of the Flying Sparks Adventure. Hit the Collect button to claim your reward. You will receive 3 Gems.

Part 3

Proceed to the Open Ocean when you are ready. Upon arriving, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you’re curious to see what they have to say.

When you arrive, you’ll see that Hagrid has successfully transported the young Firedrakes, but something seems off. You and Hagrid will decide to carefully inspect the Firedrakes to figure out what might be missing or wrong.

To check on firedrakes, you need to earn five stars within three hours. The five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

The bonus progress actions are tied to the firedrakes. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. Slide the screen left and right to check all available actions.

flying sparks part 2 & 3 0170

Following that, Hagrid will ask you what you think might be wrong with the Firedrakes. The correct answer is boredom.

flying sparks part 2 & 3 0180

You’ll realize that in the forest, the Firedrakes have gathered around a scorched oak tree. They seem to enjoy it very much. If only you could bring it to the reserve… but that’s easier said than done. You’ll get the idea to ask Professor Dumbledore for help with this.

You’ll need to wait three hours before you can continue.

flying sparks part 2 & 3 0210

Head to the lake once the waiting time is over. Upon arriving, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you’re curious to see what they have to say.

Professor Dumbledore will appear in the forest. You’ll admit that you don’t know how to move such a large tree, and he’ll reply that nothing is impossible when one combines imagination and determination.

You’ll ask if that means he’s willing to help, and he’ll respond that it depends on how you answer one question, adding that students are not allowed to venture into the forest without permission, but it seems you’ve been coming and going as you please. How do you respond? It’s recommended to apologize.

flying sparks part 2 & 3 0220

In any case, he will acknowledge that you had good reason to act and add that in life, we must sometimes take risks to help others. He will respect your courage and dedication and reassure you that neither you nor Hagrid will be punished.

Then he’ll say several magical solutions may work, but you’ll need to examine the tree further to be certain. He’ll suggest discussing the issue and pondering strategies for moving the tree as gracefully as possible.

To ponder strategy, you need to earn five stars within three hours. The five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

Bonus progress actions are tied to Professor Dumbledore and your character. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. Slide the screen left and right to check all available actions.

flying sparks part 2 & 3 0240

To move the tree while keeping its roots intact, you’ll need to work in stages using a combination of spells. Your first step is to lift the tree, along with its roots and some surrounding soil, from the ground. The Levitation Charm might be able to help, but this tree is far heavier than a feather. Trace the wand movement carefully to cast Wingardium Leviosa.

flying sparks part 2 & 3 0250

Naturally, you must now protect the tree and its roots so that they remain intact during transport. Ebublio can create a strong magical bubble to hold everything in place, but you’ll need a giant bubble to contain the entire tree.

Professor Dumbledore will ask you to work together, so carefully trace the wand movement to cast Ebublio.

flying sparks part 2 & 3 0260

The tree is finally secured and fully prepared for transport.

flying sparks part 2 & 3 0270

You’ll tell Dumbledore that the tree is now protected, but you still need a way to transport it all the way to the Magical Creature Reserve. He’ll calmly reassure you that he has a solution — one that will bring all of you to your destination in a single motion.

He’ll explain that it’s a Portkey, the most efficient method for moving both you and the massive tree without damaging its roots or disturbing the protective bubble around it.

flying sparks part 2 & 3 0290

After a few moments, you’ll all arrive at the Open Ocean Reserve. Professor Dumbledore is already replanting the tree, confident it will take root well even in the rocky soil.

You’ll mention that you hope the Firedrakes — the Flying Sparks — are happier now that their favourite tree has been returned to them. Hagrid will then suggest taking a closer look at the Firedrakes to check whether they’re starting to feel more at home in their new surroundings.

To observe the firedrakes, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. The five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

Bonus progress actions are tied to the firedrakes and Professor Dumbledore. Prioritize these actions to save some energy.

flying sparks part 2 & 3 0310

Now that their tree has been returned, the Flying Sparks finally seem to feel that this is their true home.

Following that, Hagrid will turn to you and ask what part of this adventure you think you’ll remember the most. There are three different options to choose from. These options will influence some dialogue that will follow, but they won’t impact the story.

flying sparks part 2 & 3 0320

You’ll find yourself wondering whether the Circus Arcanus will ever come looking to reclaim the Flying Sparks. Hagrid will quickly reassure you that if they do, they’ll have to get through all of you first.

flying sparks part 2 & 3 0330

After that, he’ll thank you for everything you’ve done, and you’ll reply that whenever magical creatures need help, you’ll be there.

flying sparks part 2 & 3 0340

This will mark the end of Part 3 of the Flying Sparks Adventure. Hit the Collect button to claim your reward. You will receive 4 Gems, 2 Chocolate Frogs, and 200 Hagrid Friendship Experience Points. You will also receive an Animated Firedrake Jacket.
