Introduction

Hello everyone, it’s time for Part 2 of Grand Pranksters Adventure Walkthrough for Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery. In the previous part, you found out that Tulip and Tonks are planning to hold a Prank Competition in order to determine who is the best prankster at Hogwarts.

You went with them to Zonko’s to buy some pranking supplies, and afterward, you saw Tonks’ prank in action. However, before you got the chance to see what Tulip has in store, you found out that Rita Skeeter is back at Hogwarts and she is planning to write an article that could completely ruin your reputation.

Now, you should head to the Herbology Classroom to discuss this with your friends. Once you get there, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the students. You can tap on those if you are interested to see what they have to say.

Apparently, both Tonks and Tulip heard about Rita and her plans.

It looks like they are willing to postpone their competition until Rita has been dealt with.

You have three options to reply to this. Those won’t impact the outcome of the story, but your friends will react differently, depending on your choice.

You’ll then get to talk about Rita while attending the class. To do that, you need to earn five stars within three hours.

There are bonus progress actions tied to Tonks and Professor Sprout. Prioritize these actions to save some energy.

After you are done, they will offer to teach you how to be the best prankster in order to annoy Rita until she leaves.

For the next task, proceed to the Great Hall when you are ready. Upon arriving, you’ll notice Merula talking to Rita about something.

The plan is pretty simple. Tulip has brought a lot of Hiccough Sweets. Your job is to distract Rita while Tonks put those in her teacup.

Doing this requires obtaining five stars within an hour. Only one star is needed to pass.

Be sure to fully complete this task because there is a waiting period afterward, and you want to trigger it as fast as possible. Bonus progress actions are tied to Rita. Prioritize actions tied to her to save some energy.

After completing the task, Tonks will say that she dropped all the Hiccough Sweets into Rita’s teacup.

The results are, quite hilarious.

Rita will eventually leave the Great Hall, but Merula will notice that three of you are laughing, so she’ll be curious to know why.

After explaining it to her, she’ll say that she didn’t tell anything to Rita. You have two options to respond with. These won’t affect the outcome, but if you care about Merula, it is advised to go with the second choice.

For the next task, you need to head to the Potions Classroom, but you’ll have to wait five hours before you’re able to do so. If you have around three days or so left to complete the adventure, you can freely wait for the timer to run out.

In any case, when you are able to continue, proceed to the Potions Classroom to meet your friends.

Once you arrive, you’ll be able to interact with some of your classmates by tapping on the speech bubbles above them.

It looks like Rita is asking Snape for information about you.

Tulip will then ask if you are ready to pull off a prank. The option you choose won’t change the outcome, but some of the dialogue lines will differ, depending on it.

The plan is simple. You need to find a way to swap Rita’s Quick-Quotes Quill with Sugar Quill while she isn’t looking.

To do that, you need to earn five stars within three hours. Since all of the stars are needed to pass, avoid starting this with an empty energy bar.

Bonus progress actions are tied to Tonks, Tulip, and Rita’s quill. Prioritize these actions to save some energy.

Needless to say, Rita will be quite angry once she realizes her quill is missing.

However, it seems that now she is even more determined to write the story.

You’ll need a better plan to get rid of her for good. Proceed to the Three Broomsticks to meet your friends and see if you can brainstorm one.

Upon arriving, you can interact with some of the students before continuing.

You’ll then explain the situation to Penny and Barnaby.

Penny will be curious why you invited two of them to help you. You have three options to respond with. If you fancy any of them, it is advised to go with that option but otherwise, this choice won’t have much effect.

Shortly after, the brainstorming may commence. This requires you earning five stars within one hour. All of those are needed to pass, which is why it’s recommended to have full energy prior to starting the task.

Bonus progress actions are tied to Tulip, Penny, and your character. Prioritize these actions to save a bit of energy.

Once you are done, you’ll come to a conclusion that you should probably try scaring Rita away instead of pranking her.

And one truly scary person that could help you is Ismelda.
