Proceed to the Great Hall when you are ready. Upon arriving, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you’re curious to see what they have to say. When you arrive in the Great Hall, you’ll notice that Penny looks unusually down. She’ll explain that the miserable weather has put her in a terrible mood and that she’d prefer to be alone for a bit.
After giving her space, you’ll head over to Hagrid, who will remark that yours is the first happy face he’s seen all day. He’ll grumble that this foul weather is the real problem — the sun hasn’t appeared in weeks.
You and Hagrid will agree that it’s time to brainstorm an idea that might help cheer everyone up and lift the gloomy atmosphere.
To brainstorm with Hagrid, you need to earn five stars within one hour. Three stars are required to pass.

You’ll come to the conclusion that hosting a potluck would be the perfect way to cheer up your friends who’ve been feeling low because of the gloomy weather. Hagrid will agree wholeheartedly, saying that nothing lifts his spirits like good friends and good company. Then he’ll turn to you and ask what lifts your mood when you’re not feeling your best.
There are three different options to choose from. All of them will eventually lead to the same outcome, so feel free to take your pick.

Now it’s time to plan how you’ll organise the potluck and decide who needs a bit of cheering up. As you’re discussing ideas, you’ll notice that something seems off between Barnaby and Penny — they appear to have had a disagreement, and both have left the Great Hall looking upset.
You’ll decide it’s best to invite them first and talk to them individually to understand what happened. You’ll head after Barnaby to speak with him and see what’s troubling him.
Go to the Corridor to continue the story. When you reach Barnaby, you’ll ask him what’s wrong. He’ll explain that it’s about his pet Knarl, who has been in a terrible mood because of the gloomy weather. Knarls tend to rebel and wander off whenever Barnaby can’t take him outside to hunt for scraps, and it’s been stressing him out.
You’ll tell him that maybe you can help — you and Hagrid are organising a potluck to lift everyone’s spirits, and he and his Knarl are more than welcome to come. Barnaby will like the idea, but he’ll hesitate, admitting that if Penny shows up, he’s not sure he wants to be there.
He’ll confess he said something that upset her, but he isn’t even sure what it was.
You’ll suggest he tell you more about what happened so you can figure it out together. To learn Barnaby’s Plight, you need to earn five stars within three hours. Three stars are required to pass.

Barnaby will explain that Penny got upset when he asked her for advice on how to cheer up his Knarl. She told him she was already feeling down because of the miserable weather and needed some space, but he pushed anyway and asked for her help.
Since Penny is usually so cheerful, he assumed she’d be eager to help lift Knarl’s spirits — and now he feels like he really messed up. There are two different options to choose from. These options will influence some dialogue that will follow, but they won’t impact the story.

You’ll reassure Barnaby that, whatever happened, things can still be put right. You’ll tell him to come to Hagrid’s potluck anyway — that it might be exactly the kind of warm, friendly atmosphere he and Knarl need. And, at the very least, you hope it will help smooth things out between him and Penny.
After parting ways with Barnaby, you’ll decide it’s time to find Penny, talk things through with her, and invite her to the potluck as well.
Go to the Artefact Room to meet with Penny. When you find Penny, you’ll see she’s been crying, and your heart will sink. You’ll gently tell her that you respect her privacy and can leave if she wants — but she’ll quietly ask you to stay.
She’ll admit that the miserable weather has put her in a terrible mood, and she’s been snapping at the people she cares about most. Barnaby asked her for help, and she lashed out at him; she feels awful about it.
You’ll explain that Barnaby feels terrible too, convinced he’s the one who made things worse, but Penny will insist the fault is hers alone. She can’t believe a stretch of gloomy weather has affected her so strongly.
You’ll offer to sit with her and talk through whatever’s weighing her down, and after a moment, she’ll agree. To let Penny vent, you need to earn five stars within three hours. Three stars are required to pass.

Penny will admit that ever since this dreary weather settled over Hogwarts, everyone has been coming to her for advice on how to feel better. She likes helping people — she always has — but lately it’s felt like too much pressure. She’s been feeling low herself, and pretending to be cheerful for everyone else is exhausting.
Then she’ll look at you with worried eyes and ask if she’s being unreasonable. There are two different options to choose from. These options will influence some dialogue that will follow, but they won’t impact the story.

Then you’ll tell her about the potluck idea you and Hagrid came up with to cheer everyone up. Penny will brighten a little at the thought — it genuinely sounds comforting to her — and she’ll immediately ask you for more details.
That’s when you’ll realise… You don’t actually have any yet. You and Hagrid never planned that far ahead.
So you’ll decide the best thing to do is head straight to his hut to sort out the details together.
Proceed to Hagrid’s Hut when you are ready. When you arrive at Hagrid’s hut, you’ll tell him everything — about Barnaby, about Penny, and about how Penny asked for details you didn’t actually have because… well, none exist yet.
Hagrid will understand exactly what you mean. With a warm smile, he’ll offer to make you both a cup of tea and suggest that you sit down together to sort everything out — the plan, the food, and how to make this potluck truly cheer everyone up.
To plan your Potluck, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. Three stars are required to pass.

Bonus progress actions are tied to Fang and Hagrid. Prioritize these actions to save some energy.

You’ll both agree that the Great Hall is the perfect place to host it — large, welcoming, and capable of fitting every friend who could use a bit of cheer.
You’ll mention wanting Butterbeer on the menu, and that Barnaby asked for your help choosing a recipe for the dish he plans to bring, so you’ll meet him later in the library to work that out. Barnaby will be bringing his Knarl, while Hagrid plans to bring Fang along for the fun.
Then Hagrid will turn to you with a thoughtful look and ask which magical creature he should bring to the potluck to help brighten the mood even more.
There are three different options to choose from. These options will influence some dialogue that will follow, but they won’t impact the story.

Now that the plan is finally in place, all that’s left is inviting the guests. You’ll decide to start with Tulip.
