Hello everyone, welcome to our Walkthrough section for Hagrid’s Enchanted Potluck of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery! After days of gloomy weather pulling Hogwarts into a slump, you and Hagrid decided to brighten everyone’s spirits with a cosy potluck in the Great Hall. You’ll need to wait one hour before you can continue.

Head to Zonko’s Joke Shop once the waiting time is over. Upon arriving, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you’re curious to see what they have to say.  When you arrive, you’ll notice Tulip and Tonks looking rather irritated as they whisper heatedly about something.

They’ll greet you and admit that they’re plotting a bit of revenge. Pointing toward a nearby witch, they’ll explain that she called them immature children and then took the last Ever-Bashing Boomerang, which left them furious.

Right now, they’re determined to get back at her, but you’ll gently suggest that perhaps they’d feel better if they let the whole thing go and joined you and Hagrid for a potluck. They’ll say it sounds lovely—but revenge is still on their minds. Even so, you’ll propose talking things through before they do anything rash, and after a moment of thought, they’ll agree.

To plot Revenge, you need to earn five stars within three hours. The five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

Bonus progress actions are tied to Bilton and Tonks. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. Slide the screen left and right to check all available actions.

You’ll advise them that they actually have three possible ways to handle the situation. First, they could threaten her with one of the pranks they’ve cooked up, like hiding stink bombs in her house. Second, they could call her out for being an adult witch who’s picking fights with a student over joke products. And third—perhaps the wisest choice—they could simply make peace, apologize, and walk away feeling older and wiser.

Hearing this, Tulip will look at you curiously and ask what you think they should do. The recommended option is the third one: choose peace.

These lines will differ based on your previous choice.

They’ll agree to come to the potluck and thank you for helping them see things more clearly. With Tulip and Tonks now on board, you’ll decide it’s time to head to Madam Rosmerta and place an order for some Butterbeer for the potluck.

Proceed to the Three Broomsticks when you are ready. Upon arriving, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you’re curious to see what they have to say. When you arrive, you’ll spot Andre, who explains he came seeking a break from the awful weather—and a Butterbeer—though it seems the rest of Hogsmeade had the same idea. Seeing an opportunity, you will invite him to the potluck, and he’ll happily accept.

A moment later, Madam Rosmerta will approache. You let her know you’re actually there to invite her to the potluck you and Hagrid are organizing, and that Hagrid also asked you to order a barrel of Butterbeer for the event. She will admit she could certainly use a break herself. The constant stream of customers escaping the miserable weather has left her exhausted, and though she has a barrel ready, she simply doesn’t have the time to tap it and prepare it.

You will  offer to help by attending to the customers while she handles the Butterbeer, and she gratefully will agree—adding that she’ll give you the Butterbeer free of charge as thanks for your help.

To help Madam Rosmerta, you need to earn five stars within three hours. The five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

The bonus progress actions are tied to Andre. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. Slide the screen left and right to check all available actions.

After that, Madam Rosmerta will prepare the butterbeer for the potluck. Andre will then ask you: What do you think, which is more important to a gathering, food or drink.

There are two different options to choose from. Both of them will eventually lead to the same outcome, so feel free to take your pick.

Then you’ll thank her and decide to go meet with Barnaby to sort out the recipe for the potluck food.

Go to the Library to Research recipes. When you arrive, you’ll ask Barnaby how the search for a dish to bring to Hagrid’s potluck is going, and he’ll say it’s not going well. Madam Pince helped him find all sorts of recipe books, but now he’s completely overwhelmed.

You’ll then ask if this has anything to do with smoothing things over with Penny at the potluck, and he’ll admit that it does. He will want the dish he chooses to be something Penny would like, but there are just too many options. You’ll suggest helping him pick one.

To research Recipes, you need to earn five stars within three hours. The five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

Bonus progress actions are tied to the books and Barnaby. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. Slide the screen left and right to check all available actions.

You’ll decide that the main dish should be a pie, and Barnaby will let you choose what kind. You’ll have chance to pick between a meat pie, an apple pie, or a vegetable pie, select whichever appeals to you the most.

screenshot (5101)

You will then ask Barnaby what dish he thinks you should bring to Hagrid’s potluck. There are three different options to choose from. These options will influence some dialogue that will follow, but they won’t impact the story.

screenshot (5102)

After talking with Barnaby, you will speak with Merula, who will ask if you will invite her and Ismelda to the potluck. If you like Merula, choose the first option.

screenshot (5103)

Following that, you and Barnaby will decide to visit Hagrid to check on how the rockcakes are coming along.

Go to the Hagrid’s Hut to continue the story. When you arrive at Hagrid’s, he will show you the magical creature that will be brought to the potluck, the same one you chose in the previous part.

screenshot (5104)

He will then say that as for his rock cakes, everything is ready—all that’s left is to put them on the fire to bake. You’ll ask why he doesn’t use an oven, and he will explain that there’s no need and that he doesn’t have one; he simply places the rock cakes on the hot coals and lets them cook just like people did before ovens. After that, he will ask your opinion about his old-fashioned baking method.

There are three different options to choose from. All of them will eventually lead to the same outcome, so feel free to take your pick.

screenshot (5105)

You and Hagrid will suggest that while waiting for the rock cakes to finish, you get to know the creature he plans to bring to the potluck. However, when you look around, you’ll notice the creature is nowhere to be seen, and you’ll immediately set off to search for it.

To find the creature  you need to earn five stars within eight hours. Three stars are required to pass.

Bonus progress actions are tied to your character and Hagrid. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. Slide the screen left and right to check all available actions.

You’ll successfully find the creature hiding in a nearby teacup. However, there’s one problem: while you were trailing the creature, you didn’t pay attention to the rock cakes, and they’ve completely burned.

Hagrid will be a little sad but will decide to make them again. Then you’ll mention that the next step is to invite Professor McGonagall, and you’ll decide to go see her while Barnaby stays behind to help Hagrid.

This will mark the end of Part 2 of Hagrid’s Enchanted Potluck Adventure. Hit the Collect button to claim your reward. You will receive 3 Gems and 1 Chocolate Frog.

With the creature safely found and Hagrid ready to remake the rock cakes, everything is falling into place for the potluck. The day may have had its little mishaps, but your teamwork, quick thinking, and determination are turning it into a joyful gathering in the making. Happy gaming and warm regards from Hogwarts Cafe!
