Hagrid’s Enchanted Potluck Part 3
Introduction
Hello everyone, welcome to our Walkthrough section for Hagrid’s Enchanted Potluck of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery! In the previous part, you and Hagrid worked together to lift everyone’s spirits at Hogwarts with a cheerful potluck.
You helped calm Barnaby and Penny, sorted out the Butterbeer with Madam Rosmerta, and made sure the magical creature you chose was ready to join the gathering. Even a little mishap with the rock cakes didn’t stop the fun, and with teamwork and creativity, the preparations for the event were well underway.
Now, the stage is set for part 3, where the potluck comes to life and Hogwarts is filled with laughter, magic, and good company.

You’ll need to wait three hours before you can continue.

Head to the Transfiguration Classroom once the waiting time is over. When you arrive, you will greet Professor McGonagall and invite her to the potluck, explaining that Hagrid is organizing a gathering to lift everyone’s spirits and would like her to attend.
She’ll thank you for the thoughtful invitation but says she must decline, adding that she isn’t in the right mood for such an occasion, though she hopes you and your friends enjoy yourselves.
You will then gently ask if she might share what’s troubling her. She hesitates at first, unsure about confiding in a student. She will ask why you are so interested in hearing a professor talk about her problems.
There are three different options to choose from. These options will influence some dialogue that will follow, but they won’t impact the story.

In any case, she will decide to confide in you and begin to explain what the problem is. To reminisce with McGonagall, you need to earn five stars within three hours. The five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

Bonus progress actions are tied to the bookshelf, Professor McGonagall, and your character. Prioritize these actions to save some energy.

Her gloomy mood stems from the weather, which reminds her of her childhood and past memories. The climate around Hogwarts is not so different from the village where she was born, and at times like these, her mind wanders back to those days, for better or worse.
Everyone has families and histories outside of Hogwarts that shape them in one way or another. She will add that she appreciates your earnestness and willingness to listen, and that she feels a bit better now that she has shared this.
You will ask if she will come to the potluck, and she will say she will think about it and mention that she recently witnessed a student entering the Artefact Room and seemed quite distressed. She will direct you to go check on her, which you naturally decide to do.
Proceed to the Artefact Room when you are ready. There you will find Ismelda, who is very frustrated. When you share your idea of the potluck, she will respond that it won’t help her and that she is not like other people.
You will then suggest that you talk a little about her feelings so you can try to find a solution and understand the problem better. In the end, she’ll reluctantly agree to speak with you.
To help Ismedla out, you need to earn five stars within three hours. The five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

Bonus progress actions are tied to the barrel and Ismelda. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. Slide the screen left and right to check all available actions.

You will learn that Ismelda has been moody lately because she is bored with everything at Hogwarts — the food, the weather, the lessons. The days will feel the same to her, and she will say she needs a change.
You will once again suggest that she come to the potluck: you will be making pie, Barnaby will bring vegetable stew, and Hagrid will prepare rock cakes. This time, the idea will actually sound appealing to her.
After a few moments, Penny will show up — but she and Ismelda will immediately get into an argument.

Ismelda will turn to you and ask if you are really going to let Penny talk to her like that, saying Penny just called her difficult and a sourpuss.

In any case, Ismelda will decide to cut the tension and leave. These lines will differ depending on the choice you made earlier.

Then you will decide it’s time to meet up with Barnaby so the two of you can work on the food for the potluck.
Proceed to the Hogwarts Kitchens when you are ready. If this is your first visit to the kitchens, it will be mentioned.
In any case, Barnaby will come over and tell you that everything is ready for the two of you to start cooking and get prepared for Hagrid’s potluck. Without wasting any time, the two of you will begin cooking together.
To Cook Potluck Dishes, you need to earn five stars within three hours. The five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

The bonus progress actions are tied to Barnaby. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. Slide the screen left and right to check all available actions.

You will make two pies — a smaller one to taste now and a larger one for the potluck. When you try the smaller pie, you will be pleasantly surprised by how perfect it tastes, and you’ll realise that at least one part of the meal is a complete success.
Then you will taste Barnaby’s stew, but it won’t turn out quite right. It will be oddly sweet, almost as if there’s no salt at all.
Barnaby will sigh and admit that his vegetable stew is completely inedible, adding that he doubts you could think of even one good thing to say about it. It is recommended that you comfort him.

Barnaby will become truly upset, insisting that he doesn’t want to continue. He’ll say he’s simply no good at cooking and that he’ll never be able to make a stew worthy of serving to his friends. First, Ismelda storms off, and now Barnaby wants to skip the potluck as well — things clearly aren’t going smoothly.
You will decide it’s best to visit Hagrid, talk things through, and check on his progress with the rock cakes.
Go to Hagrid’s Hut to update the story. When you arrive, you will notice that even Hagrid has slipped into a gloomy mood. Every attempt at making rock cakes has failed, and he has simply given up.
You will tell him he can’t just stop now and begin explaining how everyone has been feeling low because of the weather — that your potluck plan matters more than ever, and you have to make it work.
But Hagrid will look at you and ask why he shouldn’t just let things be, why he should even try to help when no one actually asked him to.
There are three different options to choose from. All of them will eventually lead to the same outcome, so feel free to take your pick.

Hagrid will slowly return to the idea of preparing the potluck, though he won’t quite know where to begin. You will suggest taking a moment to talk through everything that has gone wrong so far, hoping that by sorting it out together, the two of you will be able to figure out a solution and get things back on track.
To save the potluck, you need to earn five stars within three hours. Three stars are required to pass.

You and Hagrid will realize that it sounds like you need the help of a potluck expert, someone with experience hosting people, and you know just the person who can make anyone feel right at home, Molly Weasley. When it comes to putting guests at ease, there’s no one better. She is the perfect person to help save your potluck.
