During the previous part, you learned from your mentor Professor McGonagall the importance of trust, teamwork, and what it takes to prepare the classes to preserve the high quality of education.

(Disclaimer: This walkthrough will feature the gameplay from the perspective of a Year 7 student. Since the adventure is available for students of Year 3 and above, the star and attribute requirements for certain tasks might be different for you, depending on your current progress of the main story.)
Go to Hogsmeade when you are ready to continue. Once there, you can check what witches and wizards have to say by tapping on the speech bubbles above their heads. Slide the screen left and right to check all the available options.
You will spot the wizard who looks like he is selling barrels of Mallosweet to a witch. You’ll decide to approach him.

You will tell him that you are interested in buying discounted Mallowsweet but the merchant will tell you he doesn’t know what you are talking about.

Even when you point out that there are barrels of Mallowsweet around him and that you saw someone buying from him, he won’t admit it.
You can choose how to react and outsmart the merchant. This choice will affect some dialogue later but it won’t have a significant impact on the story so, feel free to pick an option you prefer.

Eventually, he will admit what he’s selling, but he’ll mention that he has only limited supplies so he will sell Mallowseets only to those who know the password. You will need to figure out what the password is.

To complete the next task, you need to earn five stars within one hour (three hours for Year 5-7). All five stars are required to pass.

There is one bonus progress action tied to your character. Prioritize this action to save a bit of energy.

You will remember that the two wizards at the Three Broomsticks mentioned: the words “Repelenim Tainello.”

This was the correct password, and the merchant will accept to sell Mallowseet to the Three Broomsticks. He will even deliver the barrels. The following lines of dialogue may differ based on your previous choice. You will always get ten percent off the price, no matter what you chose previously.

Return to the Three Broomsticks when you are ready. As always, you can check what other characters have to say by tapping on the speech bubbles. If you are curious, check all the available speech bubbles by sliding the screen left and right.
You will deliver Madam Rosmerta the good news. You’ll mention that you solved the problem of the password by remembering what you overheard in her quick exercise before.

Madam Rosmerta will tell you that not only you’ve earned an extra barrel of Butterbeer for the Hogwarts anniversary feast but you gave a perfect setup to reveal a bit of life wisdom Dumbledore asked her to come up with for you.
To learn wisdom from Madam Rosmerta, you need to earn five stars within three hours. All five stars are required to pass.

Bonus progress actions are tied to your character and the wizard in the far right corner of the room. Prioritize these actions to save some energy.

You will summarize Madam Rosmerta’s wisdom.

Paying close attention even to things that may seem unimportant helped Madam Rosmerta as an innkeeper. This wisdom could help you in Hogwarts and after graduation, just as it did now. This line will differ slightly, depending on your current progress of the main story.

Madam Rosmerta will tell you that it’s time to send you to your final mentor. You will be very excited to hear that. Madam Rosmerta will wonder if you are excited to meet your next mentor or because you will soon finish up and go to the feast. This choice won’t have a significant impact on the story, so feel free to choose the option you prefer.

You will find out that your next mentor is none other than Argus Filch.

Mr. Filch will wait for you in his office. Go there when you are ready. When you arrive, you will find out that Tulip was paired up with Mr. Filch as well.

Mr. Filch will suddenly interrupt your chat and tell you that it is time for you to work. He will say that neither you nor Tulip know anything about real work. You can reply to this in two ways. This choice won’t make an impact on the overall story, so feel free to choose the option you prefer.

You will find out that Filch has a very odd idea about how to teach you a lesson.

You’ll try to convince him that Dumbledore’s project is more about giving a lesson than mere punishment. For the next task, you need to earn five stars within one hour (three hours for Year 5-7). Three stars are required to pass.

There is a bonus progress action tied to Tulip. Prioritize this action to save a bit of energy.

Luckily, the Caretaker will give up on his idea about shackles. Instead, he will show you firsthand his job and its difficulties.

Go to the Great Hall when you are ready. Once you and Tulip arrive, Filch will reveal his plan. You’ll need to clean up the entire Great Hall from top to bottom and he’ll watch you.
You will try to point out that Dumbledore thought about a life lesson. Filch will then give you a hard life lesson.

Tulip will find Filch awful. She’ll comment that he’s one part of Hogwarts she could do without. There are two options for you to reply with. If you like Mr. Filch, pick the second option.

Tulip will comment on how his lesson is not useful compared to all the others she had before. This will give you a great idea. You can use all the previous lessons to help you in cleaning the Great Hall.
Hagrid mentioned that if you do what you love, you’ll never work a day in your life. Since both you and Tulip love magic, you can use magic to clean the Great Hall.

You’ll recall that Professor McGonagall told you that the key to success is efficiency and teamwork. You and Tulip can be organized to do the job.

And finally, you’ll recall what Madam Rosmerta taught you. You should pay close attention to Filch while you work. He could reveal something you could use.

To complete the next task, you need to earn five stars within three hours. All five stars are required to pass.

Bonus progress actions are tied to your character and Mrs. Norris. Prioritize these actions to save some energy.

Finally, you’ll finish the job. You’ll notice that Mr. Filch didn’t pay much attention to you since he was showering Mrs. Norris with affection most of the time.

You will get the idea that if you treat Mrs. Norris well, your time with Mr. Filch will pass more smoothly because you will soften him up.

Tulip will recall that she may have a nice gift for the cat. She made a toy fly for her pet Dennis, but her toad wasn’t very interested in it. She’ll be sure that this toy will be entertaining for Mrs. Norris.

Because Mr. Filch will give you another assignment, the only way for her to get the toy is while you are going to the next location.

Shortly after, Mr. Filch will call you to go back with him to his office to talk about the next assignment.

This will conclude Part 3 of Happy Anniversary, Hogwarts Adventure. Hit the Collect button to claim your rewards. You will receive 3 Gems.
Will Tulip succeed in getting her gift for Mrs. Norris? Will Mrs. Norris like it and how will Mr. Filch react to that? And what will the anniversary feast look like? Find out in the next part of this adventure!
