Hello everyone, welcome to Part 2 of our Walkthrough for the Happy Anniversary, Hogwarts Adventure of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. During the previous part, you learned from Dumbledore that the Hogwarts Anniversary is coming near. For this special occasion, students will be paired up with mentors to learn some valuable wisdom. Your first mentor was Rubeus Hagrid. You’ll learn that people and creatures depend on one another and how it’s beautiful to help magical creatures. He also advised you to do something you love and enjoy.

(Disclaimer: This walkthrough will feature the gameplay from the perspective of a Year 7 student. Since the adventure is available for students of Year 3 and above, the star and attribute requirements for certain tasks might be different for you, depending on your current progress of the main story.)

Your next mentor will be Professor Minerva McGonagall. Proceed to the Transfiguration Classroom when you are ready to meet her.

Once you are there, you will see Andre alone in the classroom. You will find out that he is enjoying the anniversary project so far and that his first mentor was Pitts. If you haven’t met Pitts before, you will get additional lines of dialogue.

Andre learned all about Pitts and what Hogwarts means to him. You’ll tell Andre that you had a similar experience with Hagrid and you two will conclude that Hogwarts has a long history of helping those in need.

Shortly after, Professor McGonagall will arrive. You will find out that she has been very busy recently. She needs to prepare for classes while at the same time, she must work as a mentor in the Anniversary project.

You’ll offer to help her. Professor McGonagall will tell you that doing class preparation together is an ideal moment to show you what Hogwarts means to her.

She will point out that this wizarding school is the height of academic achievement and she will be glad to show you what goes into establishing and maintaining that reputation.

She will say that you, her, and Andre need to arrange her desks, rewrite the lessons, and undo some Transfigurations.

To complete the next task, you need to earn five stars within three hours. All five stars are required to pass.

Unfortunately, there will be no bonus progress actions for this task. You will be happy that the classroom has been restored. You’ll understand what needs to be done so that the next Transfiguration classes can be prepared.

Firstly, you’ll need to restore a trumpet to a tortoise. The Professor will ask you what spell you should use for this task. The correct answer is “Reparifarge.”

Shortly after, you will cast Reparifarge on the trumpet.

Secondly, you need to restore the invisible spectacles. You should cast Revelio to do that.

Professor McGonagall will be pleased to see that you’ve listened and followed instructions. She will point out that before her life lesson for you for the anniversary project, she needs one more favor from you and Andre.

You need to find a fresh crop of mice for her upcoming “Mice to Snuffbox” lesson. She’ll advise you to go to the Artefact Room where it’s more likely to find some mice.

To continue the story, go to the Artefact Room. Once you arrive there, Andre will have doubts and wonder what lesson is there in having to gather mice. You’ll have a choice on how to reply to him. This will influence some dialogues later, but it won’t make a significant impact on the overall story. Feel free to choose the option you like.

To find mice, you need to earn five stars within one hour (three hours for Year 7). All five stars are required to pass. All five stars are required to pass.

Bonus progress actions are tied to your character, Andre, and the box on the floor. Prioritize these actions to save some energy.

You’ll find a lot of mice but the problem will be to catch them because they are very fast. Luckily, you’ll get an idea. Andre will chase the mice toward you while you will use the empty box to gather them as they run to you. Andre will like the plan and you two will proceed to execute it.

You’ll successfully catch all of the mice. Next, you’ll need to hurry to the Transfiguration Classroom to bring them to Professor McGonagall.

Go back to the Transfiguration Classroom. Once you are there you will inform Professor McGonagall that you successfully gathered all the mice. You will point out that you succeeded because you worked together as a team.

Professor McGonagall will be quite pleased to hear that because that was exactly what she was hoping you would do. Andre will realize that the purpose of the previous task was to learn to work together as a team. The following lines of dialogue will differ, based on your previous choice.

The Professor will point out that when celebrating Hogwarts, you celebrate the collaboration, trust, and efficiency to run the school.

After experiencing the work that goes into preparing for each class, she will give her life lesson, as part of the Hogwarts Anniversary. To complete the next task, you need to earn five stars within three hours. Three stars are required to pass.

Bonus progress action is tied to Professor McGonagall. Prioritize this action to save a bit of energy.

You will learn that the key to success in adult life is making sure to use your time efficiently. Andre will add that it’s also important to place trust in others.

The Professor will agree and according to her, that’s what makes Hogwarts so remarkable. Hogwarts is a place where brilliant witches and wizards come together to make something spectacular, since the foundation of the school.

Shortly after, she will remember that the Anniversary feast is getting closer. She will tell Andre to stay with her so she can appoint the next mentor for him. As for you, she will tell you to go to the Three Broomsticks and retrieve some supplies for the feast. Your next mentor will be Madam Rosmerta.

Go to the Three Broomsticks when you are ready. Once you are there, you can check what the inn’s guests have to say by tapping on the speech bubbles above their heads.

You will meet Madam Rosmerta. She will be happy that she is your mentor and that she is a part of this grand celebration of Hogwarts. She will say that Hogwarts means a great deal to her and she’ll be honored to tell you more about her time in the school.

Madam Rosmerta will explain that at first, it took her a long time to feel comfortable in Hogwarts because a lot was going on. But over the years she noticed that, if you’re listening, the castle communicates with you in countless subtle ways.

By paying close attention, the castle can tell you everything you want to know. Thus, she learned how to listen closely and pay attention to her surroundings. According to her, this is an invaluable skill.

She will give you a quick exercise. You’ll need to circulate the crowd and listen, then you’ll need to come back to her when you hear something useful. After that, she’ll give you Butterbeer for the feast. To complete this task, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. All five stars are required to pass.

Bonus progress actions are tied to your character and the Dark Wizard with a hat, near the far left corner of the inn. You may be able to click on the Dark Wizard in the last stage of the task. Prioritize these actions to save some energy.

You will return to Madam Rosmerta. You will tell her that you overheard two wizards speaking some unknown words “Repelenim Tainello.” You will also say that they mentioned someone’s set up a temporary Mallowsweet stand on the streets of Hogsmeade.

Someone got their hands on a special shipment, and they’re selling it at a discount to customers in the know. Because Mallowsweet is an expensive ingredient for Butterbeer, this is a unique opportunity for Madam Rosmerta to cut costs.

Sadly, she can’t leave the crowd so she will ask you if you can get that Mallowsweet for her. If so, she will give you an additional barrel of Butterbeer for the Anniversary feast. You will happily agree to that.
