A Bad Omen Part 4

Introduction

Hello everyone, welcome to Part 4 of our Walkthrough for A Bad Omen Adventure of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. During the previous part, after safely returning Squawk to the Hippogriff Club, you decided to look into the mystery of torn pages.

You searched the clubhouse and found some more pages in Squawk’s nest. Upon taking a look at them, you were able to make out the words ‘Knarl Quills’ and ‘fiesta’. Since Knarl Quills are used as an ingredient in some potions, Penny suggested asking Professor Snape for help.

The two of you went to the Potions classroom and informed Snape of the recent events. He told you that the author of the book you seek was in the Hippogriff Club all along. He was also confident that Penny and you are clever enough to solve the mystery.

You returned to the Hippogriff Club and asked the members if any of them was the author of the book. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case, so you decided to search the place. After looking around, you found yourself in front of a portrait of Libatius Borage. He told you that he’s the author of the book that was sent to the Hippogriff Club, and he advised you to do some research to find the answers you seek.

Tonks, Penny, and you went to the Library, and after doing some research, you figured out that the name of the book is ‘Have Yourself A Fiesta In A Bottle’. You also found out that the members of the Castelobruxo Hippogriff Club sent the book as a gesture of goodwill.

You then decided to find the missing pages and mend the book. But to do that, you will need the help of the Hippogriff Club members, so head to the clubhouse when you are ready.

You will tell Ismelda and Liz that you’ve managed to solve the mystery.

Ismelda won’t like being kept in suspense. You’ll figure out that she is feeling a bit touchy. Liz will smile and say that proper exercise should help improve her mood.

She’ll even offer to include her in Squawk’s next physical training session. Unfortunately, Ismelda won’t really be interested in exercising, and she will make it perfectly clear.

a bad omen part 4 1020

You’ll decide to get back to the matter at hand, so you will tell them about the book that was torn to shreds by Squawk.

You will also say that the book was sent as a gift by the members of the Castelobruxo Hippogriff Club. Liz will find it incredibly sweet. She’ll suggest sending them a thank you owl.

Ismelda will remind her that the members of Castelobruxo Hippogriff Club won’t be happy if they find out what happened to the book. Your previous choice will take effect here.

a bad omen part 4 1030

You’ll tell them how important it is to mend the book as soon as possible. Ismelda will like the idea.

Her following line will differ, depending on whether you are Slytherin or not.

a bad omen part 4 1040

You’ll ask Ismelda if it would be possible to mend the book. She’ll decide to give it a try.

She’ll take out her wand and cast the Mending Charm. Unfortunately, the spell won’t seem to have any effect.

As it seems, you will need to find the rest of the pages to mend the book. Ismelda will say that you are also missing the book’s cover.

a bad omen part 4 1050

Sadly, you don’t know where Squawk dropped it. You will suggest trying to figure out where the cover is.

Brainstorming the clue requires earning five stars within three hours. All five stars are needed to pass, so avoid starting this task if you are low on energy.

a bad omen part 4 1060

The only action with bonus progress here is linked to Liz. Prioritize her actions if you want to save a bit of energy.

a bad omen part 4 1070

You’ll recall Liz saying there was something on Squawk’s wing when she was found. She’ll nod and say it was a piece of vine. She noticed it while she was feeding the creature.

Liz will smile and say that Squawk ate the entire jar of bugs and even burped in her face. You will find that kind of gross. She’ll tell you that Squawk’s breath actually smelled like pumpkins.

a bad omen part 4 1080

You will find it odd, especially since Professor Kettleburn mentioned that Occamies eat insects, rats, and birds.

Liz will assume that Squawk simply decided to add pumpkin to her diet. Ismelda will have a different theory.

a bad omen part 4 1090

You will figure out that Squawk spent some time in Hagrid’s garden, so you will suggest checking the place.

You will need to wait four hours until you can proceed. Since you will probably be low on energy at this point, it is recommended to wait and let your energy recharge in the meantime. Head to Hagrid’s garden once the waiting time is over.

You will hope that your theory about Squawk stopping by Hagrid’s pumpkin patch is correct. As for Liz, she will hope that the three of you will be able to find the book’s cover. Even Ismelda will agree.

Liz will wonder what you are planning to do in case you don’t find the cover. There are three options to reply with. If you want to put Liz’s mind at ease, it is recommended to pick the first option.

Ismelda will say that you and Liz were responsible for the Occamy. In other words, she will say that none of the things that happened is her fault.

You will ‘thank’ her for being so supportive. Shortly after, the three of you will start looking for the book’s cover.

Searching Hagrid’s Pumpkin Patch requires earning five stars within eight hours. All five stars are needed to pass.

a bad omen part 4 1110

Be sure to slide the screen left and right to see all the available actions. There are bonus progress actions tied to Liz and a giant carrot. Prioritize those if you want to save as much energy as possible.

a bad omen part 4 1120

Luckily enough, you will stumble upon the book cover. You’ll quickly call Liz and Ismelda and tell them you’ve found it.

a bad omen part 4 1130

Liz will be incredibly happy to hear that. Ismelda, on the other hand, won’t share her excitement. You will suggest using the Mending Charm again. Ismelda will let you be the one to cast the spell.

You will place all pieces of the book on a nearby rock, and then you’ll take out your wand and cast the Mending Charm. Trace the wand movement to do so.

a bad omen part 4 1140

This time, the spell will work, and the book will be restored to its original state.

a bad omen part 4 1150

Liz will find it hard to hold her excitement. Ismelda will point out that she was the one who told you the spell that specifically mends paper.

You will thank both of them for being helpful and supportive. You’ll also give credit to the entire Hippogriff Club.

a bad omen part 4 1160

After taking a better look at the book, you will realize it is a rare first edition. Needless to say, it’s really a nice gift.

Liz will ask you about the inscription. You will read it aloud.

Liz will suggest sending them a thank you owl. Ismelda will say that they deserve a proper thank you gift.

You will be surprised to hear her say something so thoughtful. She’ll ask you not to tell that to anyone.

You’ll nod and say that you definitely like the idea of sending Castelobruxo Hippogriff Club a thank you gift. You will get an interesting idea for a gift, but you will need the help of Professor Snape once again.

a bad omen part 4 1200

Go to the Potions classroom when you are ready to continue. Upon seeing you and Penny, Professor Snape will assume that you need his help to solve the mystery of the torn pages.

You’ll cheekily smile and say that you’ve managed to figure out the mystery. You will tell him that the torn pages were from a first edition of ‘Have Yourself A Fiesta In A Bottle’.

Penny will add that it was sent by the members of Castelobruxo Hippogriff Club. Professor Snape will admit he is pleasantly surprised. He will even praise you for solving the mystery.

a bad omen part 4 1210

He will assume there is something else you need his help with. You’ll tell him you want to send a thank you gift to Castelobruxo Hippogriff Club.

You will go on and say that you want to brew them the Laughing Potion. Since that potion was mentioned in the book they sent, you figured it would be a proper thank you gift.

Penny will ask Professor Snape if he likes the idea. He will calmly say that the gift is suitable for someone who enjoys humor.

a bad omen part 4 1220

He’ll also make it perfectly clear that he prefers the gift of a quiet, empty classroom. You will promise to leave the classroom if he helps you brew the Laughing Potion. Luckily enough, Professor Snape will agree to help.

Brewing a Laughing Potion requires earning five stars within three hours. All five stars are needed to pass, which is why it’s not recommended to start this task with an empty energy bar.

a bad omen part 4 1230

There are actions with bonus progress tied to the cauldron and the ladle. Prioritize those if you want to save some energy.

a bad omen part 4 1240

Once you are done brewing, the Laughing Potion will be ready.

a bad omen part 4 1250

According to Professor Snape, you will have more than enough potion to send to the Hippogriff Club at Castelobruxo.

You’ll decide to have a party and share the rest of the potion with the members of Hogwarts Hippogriff Club. Penny will love that idea.

She will let you choose the cause for the celebration. There are three options to pick from. This choice will be referenced later on, but it won’t change the outcome of the story, so feel free to go with the option you prefer.

a bad omen part 4 1260

Penny will say that she is looking forward to the party. Professor Snape will kindly ask you to leave his classroom. You’ll gladly comply.

Proceed to the Hippogriff Club once you are ready to attend the party. Upon arriving, you will notice the speech bubbles above some of the members of the club. Tap on those if you are curious to see what they have to say.

You will welcome everyone to the Hippogriff Club’s first fiesta. Your previous choice will take effect here.

a bad omen part 4 1270

Liz will also say a few words about her Magical Creature Fitness Class. You’ll learn that she agreed to let Barnaby be her assistant coach.

You will be happy that both of them got inspired by the recent events. Liz will say that she feels like Barnaby’s card reading did predict the future.

After all, everyone was working to save the friendship with the Hippogriff Club at Castelobruxo. Barnaby’s response will differ, depending on whether or not you believed he has a gift of Sight.

a bad omen part 4 1280

In any case, you will be glad that you managed to save the friendship with the Hippogriff Club at Castelobruxo.

You’ll bet that they will enjoy the Laughing Potion you sent them. Shortly after, the party will start.

Celebrating with friends requires earning five stars within three hours. All five stars are needed to pass, so avoid starting the task if you are low on energy.

a bad omen part 4 1290

There are bonus progress actions tied to Penny and your character. Focus on those if you want to save some energy.

a bad omen part 4 1300

You will notice Professor Kettleburn arriving at the party. He will be glad to see Squawk safe and sound.

The baby Occamy will happily squawk upon seeing him.

a bad omen part 4 1310

You’ll ask the Professor about his trip to the Magical Creature Reserve in Ireland. He’ll tell you it was quite a success.

He’ll ask if you had any trouble with Squawk while he was gone. There are two options to reply with. If you want to be honest with the Professor, it is highly recommended to tell him the truth and choose the second option. Don’t worry, Professor Kettleburn won’t be upset if you tell him what happened while he was away.

a bad omen part 4 1320

Shortly after, he will pick up Squawk and leave the Hippogriff Club. Before he leaves, you will tell him that you’ve learned a valuable lesson in his absence.

You’ll say that you realized there is much more to the club than excelling in Herbology, Potions, Divination, and Care of Magical Creatures. Friendship is the true value of the Hippogriff Club.

a bad omen part 4 1330

This will conclude Part 4 of A Bad Omen adventure. Hit the Collect button to claim your rewards. You will receive 4 Gems, 1000 Experience points, 500 Hippogriff Club Experience, 3 Chocolate Frogs, and the book that Castelobruxo members sent.

You will earn the achievement for completing the adventure.

a bad omen part 4 1340

Also, the book that was sent by the Hippogriff Club at Castelobruxo will be placed in the clubhouse. You will occasionally be able to tap on it and receive various rewards.

a bad omen part 4 1350

That was quite an adventure. You got to spend time with an adorable magical creature, and you managed to solve the mystery and mend the book. Most importantly, you’ve learned the true value of the Hippogriff Club in the process.
