A Dragon’s Quest Part 2

Introduction

Hello everyone, welcome to Part 2 of our Walkthrough for A Dragon’s Quest Adventure of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery.

During the previous part, after a dueling accident, you discovered a chest hidden in one of the statues in the Dragon Club Room. Diego couldn’t help himself from opening it, and once he did, a Bludger flew out of it and wrecked the club room.

Thankfully, you managed to catch the Bludger before it did any further damage. Once she found out what happened, Professor McGonagall decided to revoke everyone’s club privileges, unless you can find a way to fix the statue.

Thankfully, Jae offered to help you find the replacement statue, and went to talk about it with some of his contacts. In the meantime, you decided to do some research to find out who donated the statue to the Dragon Club.

Proceed to the Library when you are ready.

Upon arriving, you will be able to interact with some of the characters and see what they have to say. Andre will happily greet you.

If you haven’t been acquainted with Erika Rath yet, Andre will introduce her. Otherwise, you will simply greet her. Also, if you are friends with Rath, you’ll be happy to see each other.

Andre will ask if you came to the Library to do some research. You will nod and say you’re looking to find some info on past Dragon Club members.

Andre will figure out it has something to do with the Bludger you found in the statue. You’ll tell him that whoever donated the statue most likely placed the Bludger inside of it. Rath will advise you to look for a Beater.

a dragon's quest part 2 1020

Andre will agree with her. After all, it makes sense that the Bludger you found belonged to a Beater. Still, there are a lot of documents to go through.

Andre will quickly offer to help you. Needless to say, you will definitely appreciate all the help you can get.

He’ll ask Erika if she’d be up for helping you too. She will calmly nod. Moments later, all of you will start looking through the documents.

Searching through school documents requires earning five stars within three hours. Three stars are needed to pass for students up to Year 6 Chapter 23. All five stars are required to pass for students past Year 6 Chapter 24.

There are bonus progress actions tied to Andre and the nearby shelf. Prioritize those if you want to save as much energy as possible.

Unfortunately, Andre won’t be able to find anything. He will ask if you had any luck. You’ll tell him you stumbled upon the name Gwenog Jones several times.

Andre will immediately recognize the name. He’ll chuckle and say that she is the only one mad enough to place a Bludger in a statue.

He’ll ask if you know who Gwenog Jones is. There are two options to reply with. Both options will lead to a similar outcome, so feel free to pick the one you prefer.

In any case, Gwenog Jones is a Beater for the Holyhead Harpies, and she was also a member of the Dragon Club.

You will ask Andre if Gwenog might be the one who hid the Bludger. He will say it is very likely that was the case.

a dragon's quest part 2 1060

Still, the only way to know for sure would be to contact her and ask her about it. However, you’ll be unsure if a professional Quidditch player would just drop everything and come to Hogwarts to help the Dragon Club.

Andre will turn to Erika and say that she could get in contact with Gwenog. You will be surprised that she knows a professional Quidditch player.

a dragon's quest part 2 1070

Rath will calmly say yes. You’ll ask if she would be willing to get in contact with Gwenog and help solve the whole mystery.

Thankfully, Erika will agree to send a message to Gwenog.

a dragon's quest part 2 1080

In the meantime, you will decide to go back to the Dragon Club and clean up the whole mess. Head to the Dragon Club Room when you are ready.

Upon arriving, you will notice the speech bubbles above some of the club members. Tap on those if you are curious to see what they have to say.

Diego will be very excited to find out that the statues were most likely donated by Gwenog Jones. You’ll notice that he is very eager to clean the Dragon Club Room. He will explain his reasons for being happy about it.

a dragon's quest part 2 1090

You’ll be surprised he isn’t turning it into another dueling lesson. He will say that a lesson can be found in everything. He’ll ask if you agree with him. If you like Diego, it is recommended to pick the first option.

a dragon's quest part 2 1100

He’ll say that people rarely realize he is more than just dueling and dancing. Shortly after, the two of you will start cleaning the club room.

To clean the Dragon Club Room, you need to obtain five stars within three hours. Given that all five stars are needed to pass, you should avoid starting this task if your energy is low.

a dragon's quest part 2 1110

Be sure to slide the screen left and right to see all the available actions. There are actions with bonus progress linked to your character and the remains of the statue. Focus on those if you want to save some energy.

a dragon's quest part 2 1120

Once you are done with the cleaning, there will be only one thing left to repair. Diego will give you the honors of casting Reparo.

You will take out your wand and prepare to cast the Mending Charm. Trace the wand movement to do so.

a dragon's quest part 2 1130

You will happily say that the Dragon Club Room is all cleaned up. Hopefully, it will show Professor McGonagall how much you care about Dragon Club.

Diego will agree with you. Shortly after, Erika will approach you and say that Gwenog Jones agreed to meet with you.

You’ll wholeheartedly thank her for helping you. Erika will say that Dragon Club is important, and she isn’t willing to simply give up.

a dragon's quest part 2 1140

You will ask her about the time and place of the meeting. She’ll tell you that Gwenog will soon be at the Three Broomsticks.

You will need to wait three hours until the meeting starts. Since you will likely be low on energy at this point, it is recommended to wait, and let your energy recharge in the meantime.

Head to the Three Broomsticks once the waiting time is over. When you arrive, you will be able to interact with some of the characters. Tap on their speech bubbles if you want to see what they have to say.

Erika will introduce you to Gwenog Jones. You will smile and politely introduce yourself. Before you get to finish the sentence, Gwenog will tell you to sit up straight.

a dragon's quest part 2 1150

You will nod and immediately fix your posture. She will tell you not to call her ma’am since she isn’t that much older than you.

You will try to apologize for being inconsiderate. Gwenog will notice that you’re very nervous. She’ll smile and say she was only testing you.

a dragon's quest part 2 1160

You will admit you definitely didn’t expect such an introduction. Rath will say that it is pretty characteristic of her.

Gwenog will explain that she is far from an ordinary person. She’ll ask if you’re having trouble with something.

You will nod and say it is related to the Dragon Club. Gwenog will happily say that some of her fondest memories are of times spent in Dragon Club.

a dragon's quest part 2 1170

Apparently, Rath didn’t inform her that your problem is related to Dragon Club. You will decide to tell her all about it over some Butterbeers.

Talking to Gwenog Jones requires earning five stars within three hours (eight hours for students past Year 6 Chapter 24). All five stars are needed to pass.

a dragon's quest part 2 1180

Make sure to slide the screen left and right to see all the available actions. There are bonus progress actions linked to Gwenog and your character. Prioritize those if you want to save as much energy as possible.

a dragon's quest part 2 1190

You will sum things up and explain what happened. You will also say that everyone’s club memberships will be revoked if you don’t do anything to fix the broken statue.

Gwenog will find it hard to believe that you managed to catch her Bludger. You will ask if she was the one who donated the statues.

She’ll nod and say she was the one who commissioned and donated the statues.

a dragon's quest part 2 1200

You’ll also ask her about the Bludger. After hesitating for a moment, she will admit she did put it in one of the statues.

Rath will immediately notice that she is nervous. Gwenog will explain that the Bludger is cursed, which is why she decided to place it inside the statue.

a dragon's quest part 2 1210

You will assume that was the reason why the statue had a complex protective spell on it. She’ll nod and say that she was hoping no one would find the Bludger inside the statue.

She will then ask you to tell her why the Dragon Club is so important to you. There are three options to reply with. This choice won’t have any big impact on the story, so feel free to pick the option you prefer.

a dragon's quest part 2 1220

In any case, Gwenog will decide to help you with the statue problem. You will be surprised to hear that. After all, she wasn’t the one who broke it.

She’ll explain that she is responsible for putting the Bludger there, which is why she wants to make things right. She’ll decide to start with the cursed Bludger.

a dragon's quest part 2 1230

You will suggest asking Professor Flitwick for help. Proceed to the Charms classroom when you are ready.

Both you and Gwenog will thank Professor Flitwick for agreeing to meet with you. He will happily say he’s glad to be able to help his students.

a dragon's quest part 2 1240

He will then ask about the cursed Bludger. You will open the chest and show it to him.

Gwenog will say that the Bludger is definitely cursed. She’ll point out that all of the Bludgers from Hogwarts are supposed to act the same.

a dragon's quest part 2 1250

The Professor will be curious why she didn’t bring the Bludger to him in the first place. She will struggle to answer the question.

After a few moments, she will admit she was the one who cursed the Bludger. She’ll say that Charms are not her strongest suit, and she was ashamed when she couldn’t uncurse the Bludger.

a dragon's quest part 2 1260

You’ll quickly figure out that was the reason why she hid it inside the statue. She will say that she isn’t proud of what she did, and she’ll ask if there’s something that can be done about the Bludger.

Professor Flitwick will suggest examining the cursed Bludger. This requires earning five stars within three hours. All five stars are needed to pass, which is why it’s not recommended to start this task with an empty energy bar.

a dragon's quest part 2 1270

There are bonus progress actions tied to Professor Flitwick and your character. Focus on those if you want to save some energy.

a dragon's quest part 2 1280

According to Professor Flitwick, the curse on the Bludger can easily be removed with Finite Incantatem.

You will take out your wand to cast the spell. Trace the wand movement to do so.

a dragon's quest part 2 1290

Thankfully, the spell will work as intended, and the curse will be removed. Gwenog will be surprised at how easily you managed to remove the curse.

Professor Flitwick will ask you to excuse him while he goes to prepare for his next class. All that’s left is to replace the broken statue.

Before that, Gwenog will want to talk more about the Bludger. First of all, she will take the Bludger with her after the Dragon Club is saved.

a dragon's quest part 2 1300

She will also say that she wants to tell you the truth about the Bludger.

She’ll tell you she wanted to charm it to only attack opposing Quidditch teams. Unfortunately, she ended up cursing it instead.

She will admit it wasn’t good sportsmanship, but she wanted to win so badly, which is why she did it. In the end, she decided to hide her mistake.

a dragon's quest part 2 1310

Upon hearing that, you will be left speechless for a moment.

Gwenog will admit it was selfish of her to do that. There are two options to reply with. If you like Gwenog, it is recommended to pick the first option.

a dragon's quest part 2 1320

In the end, you will point out that acknowledging her mistake is what truly matters. She will say that she never cursed another Bludger since then.

You will be very glad to hear that. The only thing now is to replace the broken statue. Gwenog will say that she will keep helping you and the Dragon Club.

a dragon's quest part 2 1330
