Introduction

Hello everyone, welcome to Part 3 of our Walkthrough for A Dragon’s Quest Adventure of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. Last time, Andre and Erika helped you search through the documents about the former Dragon Club members. Eventually, you found the name Gwenog Jones, who is currently a Beater for Holyhead Harpies.

You figured she might’ve been the one who put the Bludger inside the statue. Luckily enough, Rath was able to contact her and ask her to meet with you. While waiting for Gwenog to arrive, Diego and you cleaned up the Dragon Club Room and repaired everything that was damaged.

Later on, you met with Gwenog at the Three Broomsticks, where you learned that she was the one who hid the Bludger inside the statue. She also told you that the Bludger was cursed, which was the reason why she hid it.

The two of you went to talk to Professor Flitwick and ask for his help with removing the curse. Luckily, the curse was a minor one, and you were easily able to remove it using Finite Incantatem. Now, all that’s left is getting a replacement statue.

Head to the Dragon Club Room when you are ready.

Diego will be very happy to meet Gwenog.

She will like his compliment. You’ll tell him that Gwenog decided to help you with the broken statue.

Diego will be curious to know what happened to the Bludger. Gwenog will inform him that the Bludger has successfully been uncursed, thanks to you.

a dragon's quest part 3 1020

Now you have to think about what to do regarding the statue. Gwenog will say she didn’t expect it to be so broken.

You’ll tell her that the Mending Charm didn’t work on it. She’ll say it was because of the protective spells that were placed on the statue.

a dragon's quest part 3 1030

You’ll ask if she can undo the effects of those spells. That way, you won’t need to look for a replacement.

Unfortunately, Gwenog won’t be able to remove the protective spells. She will explain that someone else placed them on the statue.

a dragon's quest part 3 1040

In other words, your only option is to hope Jae can find a replacement.

Shortly after, he will arrive and say he has good news and bad news. You can choose which one you want to hear first. This choice won’t impact the story, so feel free to pick either option.

a dragon's quest part 3 1050

The good news is that he managed to find a replacement statue. Sadly, the bad news is that it will cost 300 Galleons to purchase it. Needless to say, you won’t have that kind of money.

Jae will explain that the initial price was 500 Galleons, but he managed to haggle it down to 300. You will wonder if there’s anything you can do to save everyone’s club memberships from getting revoked.

a dragon's quest part 3 1060

Both Diego and Jae will be worried about the Dragon Club. Gwenog will tell everyone to snap out of it.

She’ll remind you and your classmates that you are Dragon Club members, which means you should never give up.

a dragon's quest part 3 1070

She will then decide to share some of her wisdom with you.

Listening to Gwenog’s pep talk requires earning five stars within three hours. All five stars are needed to pass, which is why you shouldn’t start this task if your energy bar is empty.

a dragon's quest part 3 1080

There are actions with bonus progress tied to Gwenog and the remains of the statue. Focus on those actions if you are looking to save as much energy as possible.

a dragon's quest part 3 1090

Gwenog will say that members of Dragon Club should unite, cooperate, and never give up.

She will then want to hear you roar. You and your classmates will roar like dragons. Gwenog will be happy to see you cheered up.

a dragon's quest part 3 1095

She’ll tell Jae to inform his contact that he will get his money for the statue. She will then ask Diego and you to meet her at the Three Broomsticks. Apparently, she has the plan to get the money for the replacement statue.

You will need to wait three hours until Gwenog is ready to meet with you. You will most likely be low on energy at this point, which is why you should wait for the timer to run out and let your energy recharge in the meantime.

Head to the Three Broomsticks once the waiting time is over. Upon arriving, you will notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on them if you are curious to see what they have to say.

You will ask Gwenog about the plan to get the money for the replacement statue.

a dragon's quest part 3 1100

Basically, her idea is to hold a fundraiser. Diego will be amazed by the idea.

Gwenog will be curious to hear your opinion. There are two options to reply with. If you like Gwenog, it is recommended to pick the first option.

a dragon's quest part 3 1110

Diego will suggest brainstorming a theme for the fundraiser. Both Gwenog and you will agree with his suggestion.

Brainstorming for the fundraiser requires earning five stars within one hour (three hours for students past Year 6 Chapter 24). Three stars are needed to pass for Year 3-4 students. All five stars are required to pass for Year 5+ students.

a dragon's quest part 3 1120

There are two bonus progress actions linked to your character, so focus on those if you want to save some energy.

a dragon's quest part 3 1130

You will sum up some of the best ideas you’ve come up with. Gwenog will say that showcasing Quidditch is definitely something that should be done.

As for Diego, he will be happy, as long as there’s some dueling at the fundraiser. You will agree with both of them and suggest showcasing everything Dragon Club has to offer.

a dragon's quest part 3 1140

You’ll propose having a flying race through the Quidditch Hoops. Gwenog will like the idea.

You will like Diego’s idea to have a dueling tournament, but you’ll remind him that dueling got you into this whole mess. He will suggest hosting a careful dueling tournament, away from anything breakable.

a dragon's quest part 3 1150

With flying and dueling included, you’ll need to think of something for the Defence Against the Dark Arts.

Gwenog will say that you can ask Jae to get some cursed objects. You’ll like the idea of having the Defence Against the Dark Arts event be about uncursing cursed objects.

a dragon's quest part 3 1160

Diego will be quite confident he can convince Jae to obtain some cursed objects. Now there’s only one thing missing – the participants.

Gwenog will suggest asking the other clubs for help. She will admit she only focused on the Dragon Club during her Hogwarts years.

And since everyone’s club memberships are at stake, they have a reason to sign up for the relay.

a dragon's quest part 3 1170

You’ll decide to start by visiting the Sphinx club, so proceed there when you are ready.

Upon arriving, you will be able to interact with some of the club members and see what they have to say. You will thank Andre for agreeing to come with you.

He’ll say it’s the least he can do after you saved him from the Bludger. Also, he is a member of the Sphinx Club, which is another reason for him to pay it a visit.

a dragon's quest part 3 1180

You will say that you’re hoping he can help you convince some Sphinx Club members to join the Dragon Relay.

Andre will be quite confident you can pull it off. He’ll ask if you have anyone in mind for joining the Dragon Relay.

You’ll tell him you have the perfect witch in mind. Andre will chuckle and say that you are right about Merula being competitive.

a dragon's quest part 3 1190

You’ll notice her arguing with Ismelda about something. That will give you the idea to convince them to duel it out at the Dragon Relay.

Andre will like your idea. You’ll then approach Merula and Ismelda. The two of them will argue about which hex is the best.

Unfortunately, they will completely ignore you. You will tell them to stop arguing for a moment. Merula won’t like you interrupting their “friendly debate”.

a dragon's quest part 3 1200

Andre will say that it didn’t really look like they were having a friendly debate. Merula will say that you can either moderate their debate, or leave them alone.

Once again, you will try to ask them about joining the Dragon Relay. Unfortunately, they will make it pretty clear they aren’t interested in anything else but their debate. In the end, you will agree to moderate it.

Moderating the debate requires earning five stars within three hours. All five stars are needed to pass, which is why it’s not recommended to start this task if you are out of energy.

a dragon's quest part 3 1210

Be sure to slide the screen left and right to see all the available actions. There are bonus progress actions linked to Merula, Badeea, and your character. Prioritize those if you want to save some energy.

a dragon's quest part 3 1220

Shortly after you’re done, you will get to choose which one of them wins the argument. If you like Merula, it is recommended to go with the first option. If you like Ismelda, you should pick the second one.

a dragon's quest part 3 1230

Either way, at least one of them will be unhappy about your decision, so you will propose an alternative solution. You’ll tell them they can sign up for Dragon Club’s Relay and duel it out.

Merula will wonder if the Dragon Relay has anything to do with what happened at the Dragon Club. You will nod and say that you are holding a fundraiser in order to buy a replacement statue.

a dragon's quest part 3 1240

She will wonder why either of them should help you. You will explain that Professor McGonagall will revoke everyone’s club privileges if the statue doesn’t get replaced.

If you completed Welcome to the Sphinx Club adventure, you will get an additional line of dialogue.

a dragon's quest part 3 1250

In the end, both of them will agree to join the Dragon Relay. Next, you will need to visit the Hippogriff Club and see if anyone is interested in joining the relay. Go there when you are ready to continue.

Upon arriving, you will notice the speech bubbles above some of the club members. Tap on those if you are interested to see what they have to say.

Tonks will inform you that she gathered some people, just like you asked. If you haven’t been acquainted with Charlie or Barnaby yet, Tonks will introduce them to you. Otherwise, you will happily greet each other.

a dragon's quest part 3 1260
a dragon's quest part 3 1270

You will get straight to the point and tell them about the fundraiser. Charlie will happily agree to attend it.

You’ll ask Barnaby if he would also be willing to join the Dragon Relay. He will apologize and say that he cannot join.

You will notice that he is upset about something, so you’ll ask him to tell you what’s wrong. He will say that you’ll laugh at him if he tells you. There are two options to reply with. If you like Barnaby, it is recommended to go with the first one.

a dragon's quest part 3 1280

Barnaby will say that he somehow lost his lucky socks in the club room, and he is unable to compete in anything without them.

You will gladly offer to help him find them. In order to find Barnaby’s socks, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. All five stars are needed to pass.

a dragon's quest part 3 1290

Make sure to slide the screen left and right to see all the available actions. There are actions with bonus progress linked to Barnaby and your character. Focus on those if you want to save as much energy as possible.

a dragon's quest part 3 1300

Once you are done, you will spot a pair of socks nearby.

a dragon's quest part 3 1310

You will quickly call Barnaby and tell him you found his lucky socks. He will be incredibly happy about it.

Tonks will ask if he would be willing to join the Dragon Relay. Barnaby will say that he is more than happy to join.

a dragon's quest part 3 1320

You will say that everything is almost ready for the Dragon Relay. Tonks will be quite sure Professor McGonagall will be surprised by all the work you’ve done.

This will give you another idea. You will decide to inform Professor McGonagall about the fundraiser, so that she can see you are serious about fixing your mistake.

a dragon's quest part 3 1330

Head to the Transfiguration classroom when you are ready to talk to her. Professor McGonagall will wonder why you wanted to see her.

You will say that you want to tell her about your plan to replace the statue.

a dragon's quest part 3 1340

Thankfully, the Professor will be willing to hear you out.

Discussing the fundraiser requires earning five stars within three hours. Since all five stars are needed to pass, it is not recommended to start this task with an empty energy bar.

a dragon's quest part 3 1350

There are bonus progress actions tied to Professor McGonagall and your character. Focus on those if you want to save some energy.

a dragon's quest part 3 1360

You will tell her you are planning to have three separate events for the fundraiser. You’ll then say a few words about each one of the events.

You will also say that the members of Sphinx Club and Hippogriff Club agreed to join as participants.

a dragon's quest part 3 1370

Diego will ask the Professor if she likes the idea. She will admit that the idea is very respectable.

However, she’ll be curious to know what you are planning to do if the fundraiser doesn’t work. There are two options to reply with. This choice will have an effect on some of the dialogue lines later on, but it won’t change the outcome of the story, so feel free to pick the option you prefer.

a dragon's quest part 3 1380

If you completed Welcome to the Sphinx Club adventure, you will get some additional lines of dialogue.

a dragon's quest part 3 1390

In any case, Professor McGonagall will agree to let you hold a fundraiser. Both Diego and you will be very happy to hear that.

Still, you will need to replace the statue if you want everyone to keep their club privileges. Professor McGonagall will wish you the best of luck.

a dragon's quest part 3 1400

You will decide to head back to the Dragon Club Room and prepare everything for the Dragon Relay fundraiser.

This will conclude Part 3 of A Dragon’s Quest adventure. Hit the Collect button to claim your reward. You will receive 3 Gems.
