Become an Animagus Part 1

Introduction

Hello everyone, welcome to Part 1 of our Walkthrough for Become an Animagus Adventure of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. This adventure is available for students of Year 3 and above. Once you start it, you have 2 days and 23 hours to complete it.

Upon starting the adventure, Tulip will ask you to meet with her in the Great Hall, so proceed there when you are ready.

Since the adventure is available for students of Year 3 and above, the star and attribute requirements for certain tasks might be different for you, depending on your current progress of the main story.]

When you arrive, you’ll notice that some of the characters have speech bubbles above them. Tap on those if you are interested to see what they have to say.

Tulip will inform you that Barnaby and she were discussing a Ravenclaw student named Talbott Winger.

After talking for a while and listening to some rather hilarious things, you’ll learn that Talbott is attempting to brew an Animagus Potion.

The idea of becoming one sure sounds great. Tulip will ask why you would want to become an Animagus. You have three response options. Each choice will lead to the same outcome, so feel free to pick the one you prefer the most.

You’ll then get the task to ask around and hopefully, learn more about Talbott. This task requires you to earn five stars within one hour. Since all five stars are needed to pass, starting with full energy is highly recommended.

Do this like any other story task. Complete actions by tapping on the glowing objects in order to fill up the star meter which will eventually earn you stars. Also, prioritize bonus progress actions if you are looking to save some energy. There is one such action tied to Mrs. Norris.

When you are done, your character will have a conversation with Talbot during which he will ask if it is true you got into Filch’s Office. You can answer in three different ways.

Each of the answers will lead to the same outcome, so it is recommended that you pick either the first or the third one as long as you meet the attribute requirements.

Shortly after, you will learn that Talbott and you have a mutual friend. You can respond to this in three ways.

Like before, each option will award you with five attribute points. This choice won’t impact the story in any meaningful way, so feel free to pick the choice you like the most.

Your next task will be to meet Talbott in Filch’s Office. Hit the GO button and proceed there when you are ready.

You’ll learn that Talbott is looking for a rather unusual item – the crystals of a Death’s-Head Hawk Moth.

After talking to him for a bit, you’ll get the task to search for the item. To complete this one, you need to earn five stars within three hours. Since all five stars are needed to pass, having full energy prior to starting is highly recommended.

Like before, prioritize actions with bonus progress if you want to save some energy. One such action is tied to the desk.

Once you earn all five stars, you will find the item Talbott was looking for.

You’ll talk to him a bit more and then you’ll receive the task to meet him in the Artefact Room. When you get there, Talbott will explain how to get the next ingredient. He’ll tell you to look for areas that are especially moist, and that you’ll need a silver teaspoon to collect the ingredient.

Moments later, you’ll start searching. To complete this task, you need to earn five stars within three hours. As soon as you are ready, hit the Start button to begin.

There is a bonus progress action tied to the skull. Prioritize it to save a bit of energy.

After collecting dew, Talbott will tell you that the last ingredient he needs is a Mandrake Leaf from Herbology. Hit the GO button and proceed to the Herbology Classroom when you are ready.

Once you get there, you’ll learn that your mutual friend is Penny Haywood. This will come as quite a shock and Talbott will be curious why you are so surprised. You have three response options.

All of the choices lead to the same outcome, so as long as your Knowledge is level fifteen or higher, it is recommended to pick the second option in order to maximize the attribute points gain.

Shortly after, you’ll be tasked with finding a Mandrake Leaf. To complete this task, you need to earn five stars within three hours. All five stars are required to pass.

Follow the same steps you did in the previous tasks and you’ll be done before you know it. It is also worth noting there is an action with bonus progress tied to Talbott. Focusing on it should save you some energy.

When you are done, Talbott will tell you that Penny knows how to brew the Animagus potion, so the two of you will need to bring the ingredients to her.

This will also be the end of Part 1 of Become an Animagus adventure. Hit the Collect button to claim your reward. You will receive 350 Coins.
