Become an Animagus Part 2

Introduction

Hello everyone, welcome to Part 2 of our Walkthrough for Become an Animagus Adventure of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. In the previous part, you learned from your friends that a certain Ravenclaw student named Talbott Winger is attempting to brew an Animagus potion.

After talking to him for a bit, you decided to lend him your aid in gathering all of the necessary ingredients. It took some effort, but in the end, you were able to procure all the items needed.

Now, you should head to the library and meet Penny to see what else is involved in the making of this potion.

Since the adventure is available for students of Year 3 and above, the star and attribute requirements for certain tasks might be different for you, depending on your current progress of the main story.]

When you get there, you will notice that certain characters have something to tell you. Tap on their speech bubbles if you are interested to see what they have to say.

Penny will be surprised that you already know Talbott. He’ll tell her that he brought all the ingredients she asked for. The only thing that is missing is a strand of the drinker’s hair.

You’ll wonder if Penny is going to drink the potion after she brews it. She’ll tell you she is doing it mostly for the challenge. Talbott will say that the potion is only one step in the process of becoming an Animagus.

You and your friends will then decide to study the Animagus potion.

To complete this task, you need to earn five stars within three hours. All five stars are required to pass. When you are ready, hit the Start button to begin.

There is a bonus progress action tied to Talbott. Focus on his actions if you want to save a bit of energy.

When you are done, your friends will agree that you should be the one to drink the potion since it could help you tremendously on your curse-breaking adventures.

There will be a waiting period of five hours before you are able to proceed to the next task. There are a couple of things worth noting. Since this adventure is time-limited, you might want to use some gems or time toffees to remove the waiting time.

However, if you have close to two days or so left on your adventure timer at this point, you should easily be able to complete it even without spending any gems or time toffees.

Either way, once you are able to continue, proceed to the Training Grounds to meet Penny.

She will apologize to you for having to keep the Mandrake Leaf in your mouth for a month. She’ll take out the crystal phial and tell you to place the Mandrake Leaf and a strand of your hair inside. After that, she’ll add the rest of the ingredients.

Penny will tell you to meet her in the Potions classroom, so go there when you are ready to continue.

You will wonder why the mixture needs to be stored. Penny will explain that the potion won’t work unless you drink it during the next electrical storm. 

For the next task, you need to find the perfect place to hide the potion. To complete it, you need to earn five stars within three hours. It is recommended to have full energy prior to starting this since all of the stars are required to pass.

Do this just like any other story task and you shouldn’t have any problem completing it in time. Unfortunately, there are no bonus progress actions here, so you won’t be able to save much energy.

Once you obtain all five stars, you’ll locate the perfect spot for hiding the potion. Penny will be extremely excited about you becoming an Animagus.

She’ll say that you need to learn a special Animagus spell before drinking the potion. Luckily, Talbott should be able to teach you that one.

This will conclude Part 2 of Become an Animagus adventure. Hit the Collect button to claim your rewards. You will receive 5 Gems and 1 Chocolate Frog.

Congratulations! You are halfway there already. But there are some more obstacles in your way to becoming an Animagus. One of those is the spell that Penny mentioned.
