Flume’s Clues Part 4

Introduction

Hello everyone, welcome to Part 4 of our Walkthrough for Flume’s Clues Adventure of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. Last time, you and your teammates went to the library to research Circe. Unfortunately, all of the books about her were checked out, and you immediately realized that Merula was behind it.

After discussing what to do next, you decided to go to the History of Magic classroom and see if Professor Binns can tell you anything about Circe. He was asleep once you arrived, so you had to wake him up. He told you that he had some notes on Circe, but they were lost among the other notes on his desk.

You helped him find the notes and learned that Circe was highly skilled in Transfiguration. You went to the Transfiguration classroom to see if you could find anything there. After searching the classroom, you found a Chocolate Frog card hidden behind one of the books.

Unfortunately, the card turned out to be a transfigured frog, and you realized that Merula tricked you. To make things worse, Professor McGonagall told you that Merula and Ismelda already found the card in the classroom shortly before you arrived. Later on, you met Penny in the Great Hall. Luckily enough, Mr. Flume came back and gave you a clue to the last Chocolate Frog card.

After discussing it with Penny, you figured out that the clue is somehow related to Charms, so you decided to visit Professor Flitwick and see if he can help you. Proceed to Charms classroom when you are ready.

Since the adventure is available for students of Year 3 and above, the star and attribute requirements for certain tasks might be different for you, depending on your current progress of the main story.]

Andre will be happy to see you. He will tell you that Penny couldn’t make it since she was held up by Professor Sprout.

Professor Flitwick will ask why you brought a frog into his classroom. Apparently, Figgy made quite a mess.

Andre will apologize for it and explain that the frog is helping you search. You’ll say that you are participating in the Chocolate Frog card scavenger hunt.

You will learn that professors weren’t allowed to participate in the scavenger hunt.

Andre and you will tell Professor Flitwick what happened earlier.

You’ll go on and say that you need his help.

Professor Flitwick will ask why the scavenger hunt is so important to you. There are three options to reply with. While this choice won’t significantly impact the story, it is somewhat recommended to pick the second option.

Thankfully, Professor Flitwick will agree to help you, as long as you clean up the mess Figgy made. You’ll gladly agree to that.

Cleaning up Figgy’s mess requires earning five stars within eight hours. All five stars are needed to pass.

Make sure to slide the screen left and right to see all the available actions. There are bonus progress actions tied to Professor Flitwick, Figgy, and one of the books. Focus on those if you want to save as much energy as possible.

Professor Flitwick will thank you for cleaning up the mess. Unfortunately, he won’t know any heart-related charm.

He’ll ask you to give him the clue in full. You’ll tell him the exact words Mr. Plume said to you.

Professor Flitwick will immediately recognize the words.

You’ll ask if he figured out the clue. He will nod and say that the Chocolate Frog card is not in the Charms classroom.

He’ll ask you to meet him in the courtyard. Proceed there when you are ready.

Once you arrive, you will notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you are curious to see what they have to say. Penny will cheerfully greet you and say that you’ve arrived just in time.

You’ll be surprised to see the Frog Choir in the courtyard. The following lines will differ, depending on whether or not you completed Audition for the Frog Choir adventure.

You’ll notice the concerned look on Professor Flitwick’s face. Apparently, the Frog Choir is having some problems.

You will ask him about his thoughts on Mr. Flume’s last clue. Unfortunately, he’ll say that he is in no condition to help you.

He will explain that one of the frogs is having trouble with the chorus, and he won’t be able to help you until it’s fixed. Upon taking a look, you will notice that the frog doesn’t look well.

Penny won’t see it as a big problem. Professor Flitwick will disagree with her and say that he wants everything to be perfect.

After thinking about it for a moment, you will suggest having Figgy sing in the Choir. Still, you won’t be sure if Figgy is able to sing or not.

Penny will like your idea. Having no other options, Professor Flitwick will agree to your suggestion.

However, you will need to teach Figgy the correct notes first. You’ll ask the Professor about the song the Frog Choir is singing.

He will tell you they’re singing Celestina Warbeck’s famous song, ‘You Charmed the Heart Right Out of Me’.

You’ll immediately realize that the name of the song is the clue Mr. Flume gave you. Apparently, that was the reason why Professor Flitwick asked you to come to the courtyard.

You’ll look at Figgy and say that it is time to sing.

Teaching Figgy the chorus requires earning five stars within three hours. Since all five stars are needed to pass, avoid starting this task if you are out of energy.

There is an action with bonus progress tied to your character. Prioritize it if you want to save a bit of energy.

Professor Flitwick will happily say that Figgy is ready to sing with the Frog Choir. The two of you will join the others and start singing.

Suddenly, you will notice that something is wrong with the frog that was having problems singing earlier. Moments later, it will spit out the Chocolate Frog card.

Not long after that, the struggling frog will be back to normal. You will thank Professor Flitwick for helping you. And he will thank you for saving the Frog Choir.

Now that you have three Chocolate Frog cards, you, Andre, and Penny can all attend the feast. The choice that you made while talking to Andre at the training grounds will take effect here.

Shortly after, the three of you will leave the courtyard.

You will need to wait four hours before the feast starts. Since you will likely be low on energy at this point, it is recommended to wait and let your energy recharge in the meantime. However, if the remaining time on the adventure is anything less than 12 hours, you might want to consider using some gems or time toffees to speed things up.

Proceed to Lower West Hall once the waiting time is over.

When you arrive, you will be able to interact with some of the characters and see what they have to say.

Penny will be incredibly happy that all three of you can go to the feast.

You will notice that everyone looks excited… almost everyone. Merula and her teammates won’t seem happy.

You will approach her and ask what’s wrong. She will glare at you and refuse to say what bothers her.

Barnaby will say that they only have two Chocolate Frog cards and cannot decide who will be the one to sit out the feast.

Merula will be angry at Barnaby for telling you about their problem. You will hope that Merula can learn from her past actions.

She’ll say that she should’ve worked alone. Penny will tell her that’s not the lesson she’s supposed to learn.

Merula will say that she was simply being competitive. And since the feast is very important to her, one of her teammates will have to sit out.

However, that won’t seem very fair. You will suggest finding a solution that would be fair to everyone.

The choice you made while talking to Penny in the library will take effect here.

Moments later, all of you will start looking for a solution to Merula’s card problem.

Finding a solution requires earning five stars within eight hours. All five stars are needed to pass.

There is a bonus progress action linked to Andre. Prioritize it if you want to save some energy.

Andre will notice that Mr. Flume is not too tight about the rules. You’ll wonder if you could pass your Chocolate Frog card to Merula after you enter.

Merula will be surprised to hear that you would do that for her. There are two options to reply with. If you like Merula, it is recommended to pick the first option. If you like Barnaby or Ismelda, you should go with the second choice.

Moments later, you will head towards the Great Hall. Mr. Flume will cheerfully greet you.

He’ll kindly ask you and Merula to present your cards.

You will show him your Chocolate Frog card and he’ll allow you to enter the feast.

Before doing that, you will give your card to Merula. Mr. Flume will be surprised to see that.

You’ll tell him he never said that everyone needs a different card to enter the feast. After considering it for a moment, he will allow both of you to enter the feast.

You’ll kindly thank him for that. Merula will be happy that your plan worked.

The choice that you made while talking to her in the library will take effect here.

She will thank you for showing her kindness. If you decided to help her because of Barnaby or Ismelda, you will get a few additional lines of dialogue.

Moments later, you will enter the Great Hall. You will notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you want to see what they have to say.

You will approach Penny and ask if she is enjoying the feast. She’ll smile and say that she doesn’t want it to end.

However, with so many sweets around, she won’t be sure what to eat. You will suggest deciding it together while admiring all the sweets everyone is eating.

Admiring the sweets requires earning five stars within three hours. All five stars are needed to pass, so avoid starting this task if your energy bar is empty.

Be sure to slide the screen left and right to see all the available actions. There are actions with bonus progress tied to Penny and Figgy. Prioritize those actions to save energy.

There will be many delicious sweets to choose from.

Penny will ask if you’ve changed your mind about the sweets you like most. There are two options to reply with. This choice won’t significantly impact the story, so feel free to pick the option you prefer.

Your Hufflepuff friend will be curious to know what treat you are going to choose.

Before you get to answer her question, the Headmaster will approach you and ask for a moment of your time.

He will tell you about the goal of the Chocolate Frog card scavenger hunt.

As it seems, Professor Dumbledore saw you helping Merula, Barnaby, and Ismelda. He’ll commend your selflessness.

You will thank him for his kind words. The Headmaster will decide to reward you for your actions.

He will give you an incredibly rare Chocolate Frog card from his personal collection.

You will wholeheartedly thank him for the wonderful gift. Shortly after, you will get to enjoy the feast with your friends.

This will mark the end of Part 4 of Flume’s Clues adventure. Hit the Collect button to claim your rewards. You will receive 4 Gems, 1000 Experience points, 3 Chocolate Frogs, and a special signed Dumbledore card.

You will earn the achievement for completing the adventure.

The special Chocolate Frog card you received from Professor Dumbledore will be placed in your dormitory. Occasionally, you will be able to tap on it to receive energy. It will also be added to your Chocolate Frog cards collection.

That was one sweet adventure! This Chocolate Frog card scavenger hunt will surely be worth remembering. By teaming up with your friends, you demonstrated how important it is to work together to achieve a common goal. And the kindness you showed Merula was not left unrewarded.
